chapter-1577
1577 Killing All Necromancers Found
The God's tomb.
Grey told his father and the others about the news of the Gnomes coming into the God's tomb, sending every top Sovereign from their world.
They've gone to meet up with his mother, so the group was complete. While going to where his mother was located, they managed to kill a good number of Necromancers.
After teaming up with his mother, they've killed a good majority of the Necromancers present and all the vessels he knew about have been killed. He knew there were a few he didn't know, but among the Necromancers they've killed, he was certain a few of them were vessels. His father didn't bother if they were vessels or not, as long as Grey confirmed they were Necromancers, he killed them on the spot. Most of the Necromancers present have been killed, and Grey made it easy, separating them whenever they're in groups with others who aren't Necromancers. His space element was useful in this instance, and those who were about his level were left to Void and the bunny leader. Having the duo with him made a massive difference. He didn't always have to make a move since it was easier for the duo.
Void has advanced and was equivalent to a Second stage Sovereign at the moment. With that cultivation level, he had no issues forcefully teleporting those in the Mid stages. Those in the Late stages might be difficult, but all they needed to do was to make the person willing and they can take the person to wherever they wanted the person to appear. Grey's father was one of the people who created this place, so he naturally has ways to make this happen.
"Can you sense any more Necromancers?" Martha asked while shattering the ice sculpture before her.
"Not more than five, and they're all together. I think they should be in the Late stages since it's hard to locate them. If they weren't together, sensing them would've been hard." Grey explained. Most of the Late stage Sovereign Necromancers they've killed were only noticed when they were very close to them, but this group, he could sense them from a good distance away.
"Good, we should deal with them before the Gnomes come in. You said all the Princes will be left behind, so you have all the chance in the world to kill them all." Lucas didn't like the fact that Grey and his friends were present here.
"Are there truly no Late stage Sovereigns present in the Continent?" Klaus asked with a worried expression.
"There are, even a few people at my level. The same goes for the Gnomes, so you four should be careful when you go there." Lucas replied."Where are they? Who are they?" Reynolds asked.
"I think it should be those people who are hiding. They know there's no such thing as a God's tomb, so they naturally wouldn't want to step out. They might send a few people over, but the strong people will stay behind." Grey explained.
Lucas nodded and added, "They know this is a sham, so they opted to save their strength. Of course, a few of them helped me with this place, so you can say they are a hundred percent certain this place is a sham."
He continued, "Since they've been hidden for so long, they didn't see the need to come out now since they will only let the Gnomes know of their existence."
"I see, they will act as a surprise group."
"Something like that."
"Enough talks, we better deal with this quickly. The Gnomes will be here soon."
The group left this place and headed further into the God's tomb.
This place was massive, and everyone was separated. A few people have managed to come together with their fellow Faction members or Family members, while others have been killed. An instance like the one that happened to Reynolds would've happened in different places and not everyone was as strong as Reynolds who could force them back. Most were like Grey and Alice who didn't face any difficulties. While only a few people could be categorized in the same category as Klaus.
Those few were sent to places that were beneficial to their growth. If not for Klaus, Grey was certain the chances of him encountering that particular pond or anything like it was almost zero.
They went on with the mission and soon found the group that was left, but that's not all, three Gnomes could be seen close to the group.
"The Gnomes are here." Reynolds said with a frown.
"If they're here already, then it spells trouble, especially given the fact that we are all separated." Martha didn't like the looks of things.
Most humans were not on the same level as Gnomes, and as much as they didn't want to admit it, the Gnomes had the advantage. One Gnome is almost equivalent to two humans. Only geniuses like Grey and his friends could easily deal with one Necromancer on the same level as them since they had no issues with fighting against two opponents.
Most people would be able to defeat one, but two was a little too hard. Some might get lucky, while others will be destroyed from the get-go.
"Attack or wait to see where they're headed?" Lucas asked, staring at everyone in the group.
"We should attack." Alice wanted the Gnomes dead, the same as Martha and the others, with the exception of Grey.
Lucas turned to Grey, looking at his eyes as he looked at the group ahead of them. They might be strong, but his father and mother could deal with them with nothing more than a single attack. However, for some reason, he felt this group was different.
"We should wait, I feel like there's something else happening we don't know." Grey suggested.
"Will it endanger us?" Lucas asked.
The moment Grey responded, Lucas vanished. He didn't want to wait to see what these guys were up to, killing them was the best choice. If there were more Gnomes around, they would think of ways to deal with them.
All five Necromancers and three Gnomes were quickly dealt with.
"You should leave, now." Lucas suggested.
"I might still have some uses for you." Grey didn't want to leave, he didn't think it was appropriate to leave so soon.
"Fine, go around once so others will know you're here and nowhere else." Lucas gave in when he saw Grey's face.
He tossed something at Grey and said seriously, "In case of any danger, squeeze that, and I'll assist you with a full powered attack. Even those Old Half-Gods will not be willing to take this attack."
Grey bowed and hurriedly took the item, keeping it in his storage ring.
"Come on guys, let's go."
He didn't stay and left with his friends.
"Why is he always so stubborn?" Lucas asked.
"He takes after you, obviously." Martha replied.
"I never ran away from home, until I met you, who was already a runaway at that time." Lucas corrected, making her see where Grey's character came from.
Martha's expression turned sour when she heard this, not expecting Lucas to say something like this.
Lucas chuckled and dragged her along with him, disappearing into the woods.
….
Some kilometers away.
Grey and his friends appeared, taking a look at the environment.
"What are we still doing here, wouldn't the Gnome's world be more exciting?" Klaus asked with uncertainty.
"Taking care of a few enemies. I told you some guys attacks Reynolds, I want to see if they will attack us if they see us together." Grey answered.
"Oh, revenge, got it."
"Not revenge, just seeing if they are still willing to mess with me or not."
"Okay, but locating them wouldn't be easy."
The group went on with Grey's words and tried to see if anyone else would try to attack any of them. In the end, they didn't see anyone who tried to attack them.
Grey felt a bit disappointed, but he didn't bother and opted to leave this place. There was nothing there for them, so staying was a waste of time. He needed to take advantage of this opportunity presented to him by his father, and knowing that not all the top experts from the Aurora Continent entered the God's tomb, he couldn't help but think about his Teacher.
If Chris came here, hiding in plain sight was very easy. Grey believed he would want to come to such a place once he found out about it. But if he knows the full story, he wouldn't want to come since it would be a waste of time.
Void and the bunny leader worked with what Grey's father gave to them and were able to locate the exit of this place.
"Once we leave, there's no coming back to this place." Grey told the others.
"Let's go, the Gnome world will be more exciting."
Grey nodded to Void, and the group were covered with a light before vanishing.
