The Stigma of Life and Death completely immobilized Gu Nan. He could only watch himself being "killed" and revived over and over again.

But Gu Nan wasn’t worried. As the time in between revivals lengthened, it was impossible for Austin to make an accurate judgment every time. Sooner or later, he’ll make a mistake.

Even a slight opening in Austin’s timing would be enough for Gu Nan to escape.

Just as Gu Nan thought, this was also Austin’s first time dealing with the Stigma of Life and Death, so there was no way he could get the timing right every time. During the 26th revival, the holy sword thrust out a little earlier, which in turn triggered the stigma into switching Gu Nan back into a “living” state, allowing him to be revived early.

Gu Nan suddenly opened his eyes and swung a punch straight at Austin’s face, but Austin didn't even try to dodge, determined to stab the stigma once again even if he had to tank Gu Nan’s punch.

Gu Nan was once again turned into a dead person, but he actually had nothing to worry about. Even if he died, the Evil God physique was so strong that Austin still couldn’t deal much damage.

On the contrary, in order to land this strike, Austin received a punch in the face, and his divine body was already shattered. Although he quickly re-formed his body again, he lost part of his Godhead.

When Gu Nan—who died yet again—regained consciousness once more, he was still faced with Austin's holy sword, but there was now a Daisy behind him and a scale above his head.

The next time, the two laws of light and darkness began to intertwine in the balance, but it was different from the earlier move that injured Yu Lian.

Last time, they were in a race against time to prevent Yu Lian from escaping and could only go for maximum burst damage.

But it would be very difficult for an explosion to kill Gu Nan. Austin knew this all too well, so even if he lost some of his Godhead in the process, he still had to drag Gu Nan into a state alternating between life and death.

The purpose behind stalling for time was to complete the sealing.

That's right. The laws of light and darkness were rapidly intertwining in the golden scale. For the first time, the two strongest greater gods in the world set aside their prejudices and wholeheartedly cooperated in order to completely seal away the Evil God.

If not for the Stigma of Life and Death, they wouldn't have the chance to set up the seal so calmly. On the other hand, without the Greater Gods of Light and Darkness working together to create the seal, the stigma would be completely meaningless.

Just as Gu Nan opened his eyes again, the black and white radiance in the golden scale completely merged, forming a formation full of arcane patterns that pressed down on Gu Nan.

Gu Nan, who’d just been resurrected from death, was directly imprisoned by this sealing formation, which isolated him from the gods. Finally, Austin’s sword could no longer reach the Stigma of Life and Death.

It wasn't until they completed this step that Austin and Daisy let out a long sigh of relief.

Gu Nan was standing calmly in front of them. There was a strange, cage-like light around him, trapping him.

Without any hesitation, Austin waved his hand and sent the cage flying into the endless void.

If everything went well, perhaps a new myth would spread in the World of Gods a few thousand years later.

An Evil God from outside this world descended and fought an earth-shattering battle against the gods. Eight greater gods fell in this battle.

But ultimately, the Light and Dark Factions set aside their differences and finally worked together to seal the greatest evil demon…

But the problem was that things weren’t going so smoothly—the cage of light and darkness that sprang from the golden scale was not as strong as they imagined.

Gu Nan’s punch slammed onto the glowing cage, causing the entire cage to tremble uncontrollably, but at the same time, a powerful counter-shock hit Gu Nan.

"It's useless. Light and darkness are the basis of all laws in the world, and this cage can also reflect back all laws in the world."

Austin's figure slowly walked out of the void, his gaze landing on Gu Nan. Even though he said it was useless, he couldn't seem to relax at all.

In fact, if Daisy and the others could defeat the Myriad Heavens, he wouldn't mind staying in the void permanently to keep a constant eye on Gu Nan.

Boom!

Another punch smashed into the cage made of mysterious light. There was no medium for sound to circulate in the void, but the sound of impact seemed as though it was real.

This was a phenomenon that occurred when overly powerful laws collided against each other and began to distort reality itself, directly affecting the spiritual senses of living beings.

Austin stared at Gu Nan indifferently, his eyes capturing the information in front of him, all the way until Gu Nan landed his next punch.

This punch seemed particularly special. Veined lines drew strange patterns on his fist. The moment it hit the cage, these lines began to wrap around the light and darkness formation runes, reversing the seal’s energy flow.

This was Gu Nan’s law of shadows. Though it only slightly affected the fusion of light and darkness for an instant, Gu Nan’s punch found its mark and directly blasted away the cage of light and darkness.

"Your synergy is too poor." Gu Nan shook his head and commented, "If it were after the Fifth Divine War, your cooperation would be much more seamless."

Austin and Daisy didn't actually fight each other very often in the Fourth Divine War. The two existed more as a deterrent force and didn't understand each other’s powers well enough.

Austin stared at Gu Nan silently, not quite understanding what he meant—so far, there had only been four Divine Wars in the World of Gods.

But this didn’t stop Austin from attacking. The holy sword stabbed at the Stigma of Life and Death without hesitation, but unfortunately, it did not hit the mark this time.

Gu Nan's figure shattered into pieces like shadows, then reappeared behind Austin, already swinging down a punch.

Austin stabbed his sword behind him without even thinking about it. He didn't care about himself at all and just wanted to drive Gu Nan into a state of death.

A hint of darkness emerged in the void. It was Daisy, who was lurking in the depths of the void with an attack closely following Austin’s. Her target was also the Stigma of Life and Death on Gu Nan's body.

It could be said that the blow Baal bet his entire Divine Kingdom on finally created a flaw in Gu Nan's otherwise perfect power system, preventing him from acting wantonly.

But as if he anticipated the two’s moves, Gu Nan suddenly retracted his fist and turned into a shadow, vanishing from their sight.

"He’s trying to trick you into showing yourself." Austin immediately told Daisy, "Baal is in danger!"

They knew Gu Nan had a method to track down gods. Since he disappeared without a trace, the most likely possibility was that he changed targets.

The two instantly entered the void and rushed to the plane Baal was hiding in, but everything seemed calm. Gu Nan did not appear here.

On the contrary, Baal looked at the two of them strangely. "You guys dealt with him?"

"Not yet." Daisy shook her head and looked at Austin again. "Does he want to remove the stigma first?"

"Impossible." Baal responded decisively before Austin could speak, "The Stigma of Life and Death is rooted in the soul. Unless he can change his soul, it will definitely exist."

But before the three finished their conversation, their expressions changed simultaneously.

Because in their senses, tragic news came from another Divine Kingdom, evidently having been the victim of a sudden sneak attack by Gu Nan. Though Gu Nan did change targets, the target he was looking for was not Baal, but another greater god.

That was the Ruler of Ashen Cyan, Boswell.
