Fu Sichen had a cold personality, and there was only one person that he really liked. He was also exceptionally persistent in liking Pei Zhen.

Because he was naturally indifferent, he was usually nonchalant about most things.

For example, the question of whether or not to eat seafood. Fu Sichen didn’t like shelling prawns because he found it troublesome and a waste of time.

That didn’t seem to be the case anymore.

The white Persian cat sat by the table. Every so often, a shelled prawn would appear in his bowl. All he needed to do was open his mouth and enjoy his meal.

Fu Sichen had long fingers with prominent joints.

Good-looking people looked good doing anything.

Every time Fu Sichen lifted up a fresh red prawn, his skin looked even paler in comparison to the fresh red color of the shell. Pei Zhen didn’t even have to turn his head to see Fu Sichen’s protruding wristbone.

There was a sort of seductiveness about it.

“Is it lonely staying at home?” Fu Sichen placed yet another prawn before the Persian cat. Fu Sichen’s deep voice sounded again, “If you like keeping me company, then I can take you to the studio again.”

Pei Zhen was at a loss for words again.

The atmosphere had started to become gentler, and things had just started to calm down, when another sea of emotions hit him out of nowhere.

Why did this *sshole keep thinking that the Persian cat liked him!

Even if he was left alone in the hotel room, Pei Zhen still wouldn’t feel lonely!

He looked at Fu Sichen. For some reason, he felt like this person was too gentle to be true; it gave Pei Zhen goosebumps.

It was really freaky.

Pei Zhen backed up two steps, and almost fell off the chair again.

He recalled Fu Sichen’s words with mixed feelings. He still felt like something was off.

After that casual dinner, Pei Zhen was held down and given a bath.

In any case, resistance was futile. Pei Zhen didn’t have the energy to struggle. After being blow-dried, he had initially wanted to return to his cage to sleep.

However, Fu Sichen refused.

He picked up the cat in one swoop before walking towards the bed, dragging his hotel slippers along the way, “I need to watch you closely, you little fugitive.”

Pei Zhen felt angry.

“Hey! Let me go! Damn it! Who the hell would want to sleep in the same bed as you!” Pei Zhen thought furiously.

Unintentionally sharing the same bed as Fu Sichen while drunk had already been shameful enough. Now, Fu Sichen was trying to force him to do it while sober!

Pei Zhen struggled violently as Fu Sichen looked on with a cold expression. He held the cat down on the bed forcefully, “Are you that unwilling to sleep on the bed?”

“Meow. Meow. Meow!” It wasn’t that he didn’t want to sleep on the bed. He just didn’t want to sleep in the same bed as Fu Sichen!

“You don’t like me? Do you prefer Xiao Nian?” At this point, Fu Sichen had too many things that he could use to blackmail the cat. So, he didn’t mention the issue of getting neutered at all. Instead, he fixated on the fact that the cat had willingly left with Xiao Nian. “Strictly speaking, Xiao Nian is a thief. Thieves should be sent to jail.”

Just as he had expected, after saying this, the Persian cat in his arms quieted down. Of course, he still stared at him with a resigned resentment in his eyes.

Fu Sichen thought that this was quite funny. He loosened his grip on the cat before pinching the cat’s ears rather contemptuously once more, “What a good boy. Wait for me over here.”

The cat blinked.

Pei Zhen’s ears were flushed from being pinched, and the heat spread from his ears to his face. The cat was so ashamed that he had the urge to viciously kick Fu Sichen.

This damned pervert!

After unknowingly teasing Pei Zhen, Fu Sichen turned around to walk into the bathroom. Pei Zhen glared angrily at his silhouette, cursing and swearing for a while before burrowing himself into the blanket.

The blanket was big, and the cat was tiny in comparison. After making his way to the top of the bed, Pei Zhen tilted his head back to sleep. However, the minute he put his head down, he felt his head hit something hard.

It was a book.

Pei Zhen thought that it was just Fu Sichen being a conscientious actor, reading a book to upgrade his acting skills. However, after opening the book, Pei Zhen was shocked at the content.
