553 High-Dimensional Space Pursuit (1)

“The Hellions may fuse it into their bodies, but we aren’t that crazy.” Yijiu flipped his hand and put away the black droplet. “We will hand it to the research institute along with the other spoils of war.”

Xu Jingming and Jane nodded.

Before they joined forces, they had decided that the credit and spoils of war for the Hellions they jointly dealt with would be distributed equally! After all, all three of them played a critical role.

Without Yijiu, the chances of killing a Hellion Sovereign who had grasped high-dimensional powers were slim! Without Jane, they couldn’t trap the Hellion Sovereign at all. Without Xu Jingming, Fatrance would probably be dead by the time Jane and Yijiu arrived on a spaceship. Sovereign Black Snake would’ve long fled.

“Thank you, Mr. Yijiu, Mr. Jane, and this senior brother,” Fatrance said politely even though he didn’t recognize Xu Jingming.

Xu Jingming nodded slightly. He had no intention of revealing his identity for the time being.

“You still have to spend more effort on your life-preservation means,” Yijiu said with a smile. “Alright, we have matters to tend to. We’ll make a move first.”

Xu Jingming immediately disappeared with his two companions.

Fatrance stood in space and heaved a sigh of relief. This mysterious expert hid his appearance and aura. I wonder which member of the Primordial Research Institute brass he is?

There were too many powerhouses in the Primordial Research Institute, and there were more than 10,000 Lv. 10 Origin lifeforms! There was also a group of people who grasped high-dimensional powers—Mr. Jane and Yijiu couldn’t even be ranked in the top ten of the Primordial Research Institute’s Lv. 10 Origin lifeforms.

From the way the three of them interacted, this mysterious expert is more humble. Yijiu also calls him junior brother. He should be a senior brother who has grasped high-dimensional powers but is ranked toward the back, Fatrance thought.

From the looks of it, my life-preservation ability is still weak. Fatrance thought and also left with Spacetime Travel.

Black Iron.

Xu Jingming and the others returned.

“Killing Sovereign Black Snake will act as a deterrent to the Hellions,” Yijiu said with a smile. “The Hellion Sovereigns with high-dimensional powers will be more cautious. The more cautious they are, the fewer times they will attack.”

Jane glanced at Xu Jingming. “Junior Brother Wu Ming, when do you plan on revealing your identity?”

When interacting with Fatrance, Xu Jingming chose not to reveal his identity.

“I’m only a Lv. 9 Origin lifeform now, and I’m still relatively weak! If the Hellions confirm my identity, they will target me even more,” Xu Jingming said. “Although I have some life-preservation means, I have to be careful. Revealing my identity can wait till I become a Lv. 10 Origin lifeform.”

Only the other seven guardians of the Heavenly Python Cosmic Sector knew his identity. All of them had extraordinary standing, and they knew that it had to be kept a secret.

With fewer people knowing about it, the probability of it being leaked was extremely low.

“You have to be careful. I believe Sovereign Moyou’s intent to kill will intensify after Sovereign Black Snake’s death,” Yijiu said.

“Don’t I have the two of you?” Xu Jingming smiled.

Jane reminded, “The Nightmare World’s intrusion is instantaneous. Neither of us can stop it in time, so you have to be careful.”

Xu Jingming nodded slightly.

He was still confident with high-dimensional traveling.

“Sovereign Black Snake is dead?”

The Hellions had built a virtual world that only provided the Heavenly Python Cosmic Sector border with coverage spanning hundreds of millions of light-years.

Sovereign Moyou was a little surprised to learn of Sovereign Black Snake’s death. After all, there were only six Hellion Sovereigns in the Heavenly Python Cosmic Sector who had grasped high-dimensional powers, and they had lost one.

“We can only confirm that Black Snake is dead! We have to wait for the next revival opportunity provided by the Progenitor or His Majesty to know how he died.” The figure enveloped in a blood mist looked at his companions with dark eyes. “We’ve always been very cautious in the Heavenly Python Cosmic Sector. After all, a death implies the loss of the fused high-dimensional objects. Yet, Black Snake is dead. An accident must’ve happened. I can only guess that it’s related to that mysterious guardian.”

A mountain-like figure said, “That mysterious guardian named the Dark Spearman recently arrived at the front line. Black Snake died shortly after his deployment.”

“This Dark Spearman’s Spacetime Travel is extremely fast, allowing him to intercept in a timely fashion.”

“He must’ve brought along other human powerhouses that prevented Black Snake from escaping.”

“I agree. This is the most likely possibility! There’s also another possibility… The Star Alliance that Black Snake plundered happens to have a very powerful human powerhouse guarding it. Coincidentally, that human powerhouse was able to kill Black Snake and prevent it from escaping.”

“How can there be so many coincidences? My senses tell me that it should be related to that Dark Spearman,” a gray mist remarked.

These Hellion Sovereigns who had grasped high-dimensional powers discussed.

Sovereign Moyou fell silent.

“Death isn’t terrifying. Losing the fused high-dimensional objects is something we can’t afford,” the gray mist said. “We paid a huge price and spent immense efforts to grasp high-dimensional objects. If we lose them, our strength will plummet.”

“Moyou, I don’t plan on attacking before we learn the truth behind Black Snake’s death after his revival.”

“I want to wait too.”

“The only person who can be fearless of humans and deal with the Dark Spearman’s threat is Sovereign Moyou.”

These four Hellion Sovereigns weren’t afraid of death, but they were afraid that their strength would plummet after they lost their high-dimensional objects.

A huge drop in strength was worse than killing them.

Even if they paid the price to obtain another high-dimensional item, the fusion and control would no longer be the same. Perhaps they wouldn’t be able to grasp high-dimensional powers again for the rest of their lives.
