Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough
-
chapter-624
Back at the Flying Sword Sect shortly after Xuan Hao had left, Qing Yi frowned slightly while looking in the direction that her master had left in.
Shaking her head as she thought about something for a short moment, Qing Yi soon turned her attention towards Song Jia, who was still looking in the direction that her master had disappeared in with a curious expression on her face.
Even with her only having met the young Song Jia a few times over the past year, it was not too difficult to understand that she was curious about how her master had suddenly disappeared before any one of them had a chance to react.
To be honest, Qing Yi was also rather curious about this, as she had a feeling that it should not just be because of his strong cultivation, but instead some kind of movement technique that allowed him to move extremely fast-
"Ah… Now that master left, is there perhaps anything else you want to do other than spirit chess?" Realizing that she was thinking about her master again, Qing Yi could not help smiling wryly before shifting her attention back to Song Jia."Hm… I don't know?" Not expecting the question from Qing Yi, Song Jia tilted her head as she put on a thinking expression.
Like this, Qing Yi, and Song Jia both turned quiet, Song Jia thinking about an answer to the question, while Qing Yi had no idea what to say after seeing how concentrated looked when trying to come up with an answer on what they do now that her master had left after playing spirit chess with them for a short time.
It was at this time someone suddenly appeared from the entrance of the pavilion.
"What are both of you doing…?"
"Chu Yang… Ehm… We just finished seeing master off."
"He left already? Looks like things are rather busy at the Shattered Star Peaks… I can't wait to move there, as things are sure to get more calm around the sect and master will have more time to help me practice the spear!" Nodding his head without finding anything odd about the slight pause between words when Qing Yi answered him, Chu Yang nodded his head.
Given that his master had been around for a year without having to leave for an extended period of time, Chu Yang had been taking full advantage of it, as he had found his master to practice with whenever he could. In the end, this had resulted in Xuan Hao restricting the time he would spend practicing with him every week. After all, he could not just train one disciple, while leaving the other two to fend for themselves!
For some reason, Chu Yang had misunderstood the reason why his master had restricted the time he spends practicing with him and had ended up linking it together with the fact that most of the sect elders were busy with constructing the new main sect…
Given his master's strength and status in the sect, it was only obvious for him to play a crucial role in the construction of then new sect in Chu Yang's eyes!
"Hm? Who is- Ah! It's the little girl that follows Elder Song around!"
Spotting Song Jia standing a short distance away from Qing Yi, Chu Yang quickly realized the identity of the young girl in question.
"I know! How about we go search the nearby demon beast forest for spiritual herbs!" Completely oblivious to the fact that Chu Yang had appeared, Song Jia suddenly exclaimed loudly before turning towards Qing Yi with an expectant look plastered all over her face.
"That's a good idea, with this strong senior sister around, there is no need for us to worry about the demon beasts roaming inside the demon beast forest! Let's get going!" Nodding her head in response to what Song Jia said, Qing Yi understood that she had deliberately ignored Chu Yang after he had blatantly called her a little girl.
As a friend of Song Jia, Qing Yi was more than happy to play along. Especially so considering Chu Yang had asked for it himself. After all, Song Jia was just a few years younger than him. Even if she was smaller than others her age…
"Yay!"
Smiling happily upon hearing Qing Yi agree, Song Jia happily ran towards the path leading down the mountain before beginning the long descent towards the base of the mountain.
"Wait up for me!" Qing Yi was not too far behind, as she quickly disappeared down the path leading down the mountain together with Song Jia. Heading towards the demon beast forest filled with Qi Condensation Realm demon beast controlled by the Flying Sword Sect.
"…"
Not knowing what just happened as he could only stare in the direction that the two girls had disappeared in, Chu Yang could not help tilting his head in confusion as he tried to comprehend what had just happened.
"Senior brother Chu Yang, can you help me with the movement technique master taught us- Did something happen?" Arriving shortly after the two girls had left, Bai Ning who had come to Chu Yang for help with a movement technique could not help feeling a bit confused after seeing the sight of Chu Yang starring towards the path leading down the mountain in confusion.
"I have no idea… Let's go to the training ground." Shaking his head as he thought about what just happened without understanding why he had been ignored by the two girls, Chu Yang agreed to help Bai Ning without a second thought before making his way towards the training ground.
"Yes!" Not expecting for Chu Yang to agree so easily, Bai Ning showed a happy smile as he followed him towards the training ground.
To be honest, Bai Ning would not normally be trying so hard when it came to training… But over the past few months, most of the Blacksmithing Hall had been torn down and been relocated to the Seventh Star Peak… Thus, leaving him with nowhere to go a practice his blacksmithing!
Even if he was lucky enough to find a furnace, most of the precious metals used for blacksmithing had all been moved to the Seventh Star Peak already. Making it hard for him to try and refine any higher-level artifacts even if he got a chance to craft anything…
Bai Ning was not the only one to go through this, as the elders belonging to the Blacksmithing Hall, that had yet to get a chance to move to the Seventh Star Peak, were all turning towards cultivation now that they couldn't do any crafting.
Not only this, but all these blacksmiths that had spent all their time on blacksmithing all managed to breakthrough after they began seriously cultivating. Among which, the one to improve the most, was Elder Lou Wei, the current leader of the Blacksmithing Hall!
After the movement of most of the Blacksmithing Hall's furnaces and precious spiritual metals to the Seventh Star Peak, the old man had seen the 'suffering' that his fellow blacksmiths had to go through and decided to stay together with them instead of moving to the Seventh Star Peak.
This was even after Elder Song had already personally asked Elder Lou Wei to oversee the construction of the new Blacksmithing Hall on the Seventh Star Peak!
The decision of the old leader of the Blacksmithing Hall ended up proving to be a tremendously important decision for the old man, as over the past three months' time, he had managed to break through from the Peak of the Core Formation Realm and officially reach the Nascent Soul Realm!
…
"Finally found a clue…" As all three of his disciples were busy with their own things, a small smile crept up Xuan Hao's face as he managed to catch a trace left behind by the one behind the death of the blue deer's father.
"But… It's far too faint for me to make out the strength of the other party…" Trying his best to analyse the small trace aura left behind, Xuan Hao could only shake his head as he had absoloutly no idea what the strength of the other party was.
For all he knew, it could be someone at the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm and at the same time, it could also be someone in the Soul Ascension Realm!
Blindly following the small trace of aura left behind by the other party was definitely not a wise choice, as it might end up costing him his life if the other party was really someone in the Soul Ascension Realm.
Not to mention, he had no idea if the small trace of aura he had found was deliberately left behind by the one that had killed the father of the blue deer!
If that was really the case, Xuan Hao had a feeling that it would become far harder for him to complete the main quest than he had first expected…
