Divine Emperor of Death

chapter-2660-30041322
Hearing Davis suddenly ask her, Rea Tyriel's eyes lit up as she smiled, coming to understand that he was secretly worried over this matter.
"Since you look up to me so much, I'll tell you."
Rea Tyriel stood straight and thought for a moment before she teasingly smiled.
"Caw! That bastard's family has about eleven publicly known Immortal Emperors! However, we know that there are at least twenty-three pillars, two of them, their life and death unknown. Their cultivation levels are unknown, but they all practice Space Laws as their main attribute."
"…"Rea Tyriel became unamused as Black Tyriel revealed the information before she could.
Hearing Black Tyriel's furious voice, Davis couldn't help but laugh.
"Aren't you rearing to kill him?"
"I swear I'm gonna peck that bastard to death when I have the chance!" Black Tyriel spread his wings once again.
It could be seen that he was truly furious over their last interaction.
Nonetheless, Davis's visage became solemn. Twenty-three Immortal Emperors? As far as he knew, that number naturally didn't compare to the Aurora Cloud Gate's pillars, especially when all-powerful Guardians were on their side but still, he couldn't help but want to suck in a cold breath of air over the incredibly powerful force they possessed.
Any one of these Immortal Emperors was enough to finish them off if they came at them seriously without looking at things like ethics and honor. In fact, he knew they would come for Myria like that, as she had killed their number one heir. That was a bottom line that couldn't be crossed that even the Tyriel Family would think thrice before doing something like that."Also, I heard the sudden announcement in my head. Is that the case for your two wives as well?" Rea Tyriel's gaze also became solemn.
"Indeed." Davis nodded, "It's the start of a new era. I'm afraid that you and I can't be allies anymore."
"…"
Rea Tyriel looked at him with a complicated gaze. It was as he said. With the Candidacy involved, she was officially forced to be enemies with two of his wives, who inherited the Fire Phoenix Clan and Earth Dragon Clan's legacy. When things came to shove, they couldn't be acting like they were allies, nor could she do such a thing as she considered that kind of character beneath herself.
However, she didn't expect Davis to be so open about it, causing her to be impressed.
Would anyone willingly let go of the thighs of a rich and influential person? She could see that he was vastly different in that regard, causing her to look at him in a new light once again. However, a breath of air escaped from her mouth.
"Sigh, so be it. Life is full of twists and turns, but this... this is beyond our control as it encompasses the fate of the First Haven World, or so I heard from my grandpa. I wish your humble beginnings good luck."
Rea Tyriel cupped her hands towards him, and Davis returned the gesture. From now on, they knew that their interactions would lessen and could possibly worsen until they could no longer live under the same sky. It was unknown what the Candidacy had in store for them all, for the world.
After settling things with Rea Tyriel, Davis went on to salvage anything he could find. During this time, many came back to witness what was going on. Natalya, Tia, and the three members of the Reaper Soul Legion also regrouped with them under the protection of Nadia.
With the whole group having reunited and Davis being done with looting, they finally left.
However, as soon as he passed a group, his soul force secretively slipped through his mind and fell into the minds of two beauties.
"You two sisters. I know you heard the declaration in your heads."
"…!"
Frostrose and Flamerose, otherwise known as Yeyin and Zahara, became shocked as they heard Davis's voice resounding in their heads. However, they received another one.
"If you want to know more about how I knew, don't bother. Don't ask me, as I'm helpless to answer. However, never answer the summons of your powers and never go back to your powers. Right now, the safest place for you two, as far as I could think of, is undoubtedly the Aurora Cloud Gate, and if you two are willing, I'm willing to protect you both as I owe you two in ways that you couldn't think of."
Yeyin and Zahara both incredulously looked at him, casually flying past them as though he wasn't talking to them before they looked at each other with wide eyes. Even though they didn't dare confirm with each other if they heard that mysterious voice, he knew about it.
How can it be possible!?
However, the things he said had them shivering ever so lightly.
Never answer to the summons of your powers and never go back to your powers? Doesn't that mean that their own powers would endanger them? However, they didn't act like it didn't make any sense to them despite their severe confusion.
After all, Shirley was an immortal inheritor, and she had both their blood for some reason.
They were not foolish. They connected the dots sometime ago, but they refused to believe it, even now, as it would make their memories false and lives meaningless.
The very thought that they weren't born here and the relationships they made were fake was enough to have them shiver in dread.
Just what were their origins? What had truly happened to them?
They didn't know, but the thought of wanting to find and discover their true identities were equally dreadful to the current them.
"You murderer! How dare you kill Nyx Godwin in cold blood? My Aurora Cloud Gate and the Godwin Family wouldn't stand for this!"
Suddenly, a pale-faced individual with roughed-up hair pointed at Myria with intense emotion seething in his eyes, stunning many people.
Rea Tyriel and the others saw that it was none other than Mystic Diviner Rakestream, causing them to be stunned.
He wouldn't joke about such things, right? They couldn't help but wonder in shock as they turned to look at Myria and the Emperor of Death who was beside her.
