Divine Emperor of Death

chapter-3124
Davis recalled back to the memories he plundered from the Crimson Pathflame Lower Realm's geniuses. They were his captives at the moment, thoroughly restricted and sealed, but his doubt lay in the information that the Forsaken Yin Lower Realm was now called the Frozen Wasteland Lower Realm.
Not much information was provided by the five youths he soul scoured, but it was rumored that the Forsaken Yin Lower Realm had fallen a few million years ago, which now became known as the Frozen Wasteland as it became a sacred land to the billions of ice cultivators across the Galaxy looking for a suitable cultivation realm to settle, so the competition among them was also fierce, giving birth to many geniuses.
Davis didn't know if this white-haired heavenly genius called Ark Saken had any relation to the Forsaken Yin Sect. He didn't even have a King-Tier aura exuding from his, but his prowess might as well as be eight levels higher at his peak from what Davis could sense.
Regardless, he didn't care at the moment as he had better things to do. He was still refining the heavenly entities back near Epsila with his soul body, so he wanted to clear the area of these people as soon as possible.
"Come. There are a lot of treasures that have surfaced from the depths of the volcano. Let's go acquire them all and share with each other.""…"
Davis spoke in a gentle voice.
However, looking at his wretched smile, the two men knew that there was no way this man would help them search for treasures while the woman simply shuddered, not understanding how this person could have such a chilling aura.
"You… your heart is not tranquil at all…"
Tranquil Lotus Lower Realm's Katusha Amaidhi spoke in a wary tone as though she was disturbed. She couldn't understand why her own cultivation would turn restless, becoming difficult to control in his presence. It was like she was standing upside down, disallowing her to efficiently circulate her energy.
"Well… this feeling of pride and helplessness could only be rid of through tasting blood. Don't you think so?"
"…!"Katusha Amaidhi no longer spoke. She turned around and left, her pupils trembling as she possessed a bad feeling about this man.
"Hmph!"
Brisc Goldpeak harrumphed in irritation as he willed himself to go against this feeling. He raised his head high and stared at Davis, his eyes flashing in a mocking light.
"You can scare a woman with your perverted gaze, but not me."
*Powww~*
He grinned but then suddenly felt his head spinning, his body rotating while a stinging pain took root at the deepest part of his soul all the way up to his left cheek.
"You-!"
With a backflip, Brisc Goldpeak had just regained balance when he suddenly saw Davis stand in front of him again like a ghost, his finger pointing at his forehead, appearing to be able to pierce through his soul. At that very moment, his soul chilled, and his body froze in fear, somehow realizing that the slightest wrong move could result in his death.
"Who told you to talk?"
Davis narrowed his eyes as he moved his hand and held Brisc Goldpeak by the collar, his other hand moving in for a slap, which made Brisc Goldpeak flinch as he raised his hand and pressed on his own cheek to safeguard.
It caused Davis's lips to curl into a perverted smile, "It seems like you're scared enough."
*Bang!~*
Brisc Goldpeak exploded with his golden undulations in a fit of fury, not caring about his life anymore as he punched at Davis. However, his fist struck empty air and caused a piercing sound to echo as gold cut through the sound barrier, almost making space to tear.
Regardless, he quickly noticed that his fist didn't strike the purple-robed man, causing him to instantly retreat.
Davis stood to the side as he watched Brisc Goldpeak retreat, not following him. Instead, his lips moved as he raised his hand, holding a golden ring that was of luxurious make.
"Thanks for your spatial ring. Have you planted any traps in it? If you did, undo it. Otherwise, I will hunt you down and make you regret ever acting haughty in front of me."
Davis rubbed the spatial ring as his soul force seeped inside, causing Brisc Goldpeak to tremble. Every limb or organ trembled from his feet to his head before he felt a metallic taste filling his mouth.
*Pui!~*
He spat a mouthful of blood, his golden eyes shaking as he realized that his spatial ring had been completely plundered from him in a second despite the difficulty in breaking the bind one should have with it.
"Impossible…. Who are you…!?"
He roared, wiping off the blood from his chin and taking a step forward to attack again.
"Senior brother, don't!"
However, his teammates quickly appeared behind him and held him back as they grabbed his shoulders and hand, their eyes displaying a hint of trepidation.
At that moment, Brisc Goldpeak discovered a giant eye staring at him from above.
That bright golden eye belonged to a jet-black wolf with purplish-black wings. It hovered before them as a tail hung around them, appearing menacing as it stared at them with killing intent.
Their necks were cold.
Their instincts told them if they made a move, perhaps all their heads would be lopped off without them knowing how it occurred.
Conceivably, their heads could've been already looped off.
They didn't know, so they remained frozen to check if their consciousness was still intact.
"That's enough, Nadia. As you can see, they gifted their most precious spatial ring to me. I also have their life ring, so let them leave. But if they choose to stay, feel free to eat them- and oh, use Lea's flames to roast them before you eat."
Davis advised as though he was serious, causing Nadia to nod.
"Yes, master."
"…!"
Brisc Goldpeak trembled in both fury and fear. There was reluctance in his eyes, but looking in the distance, he saw that there were more people belonging to this purple-robed man's group. Their prowess was unknown, but looking at the jet-black wolf that seeped fear into his heart, he didn't want to try his chances anymore, causing him to leave.
He threw his comrades aside and flicked his sleeves before he turned around. He cast one last look at Davis before he left with his group silently.
"…"
Davis watched them leave. Ark Saken's group also left, not wanting to do anything. They didn't even join hands to deal with him. Besides, Davis sensed more undulations hidden amidst the mountain range. There were certainly solo cultivators who had probably gone out of their group to hunt for treasures, and he imagined that they were waiting for a chance to take advantage of.
However, even those undulations started to disappear one by one as he simply nudged them with his soul force, causing them to act like a scaredy cat flinching upon being spooked.
Knowing they were discovered, their expressions churned, but they didn't bother to stay anymore.
Davis recognized them to be also Kingly Monarchs, but they lacked King-Tier auras like Ark Saken, meaning that they were also geniuses through law comprehension or possessed unique physiques.
"Even Kingly Monarchs are afraid of you, dear~"
Lea Weiss descended as she appeared beside him, her voice proud. However, her lips curled with an amused smile.
"But you didn't have to humiliate him like that when you could've killed him instead. Now, with his orchestration, the Golden Dragon Lower Realm might try to obtain vengeance for him if we were to appear outside, but I'm not sure you're not a person who didn't consider that…"
"Who told him to ogle at you?"
Davis shrugged, "Even trying to make a move on you as he closed the distance bit by bit? Look at this…"
Lea saw him hand over the spatial ring that was plundered, and she saw a talisman that made her brows frown.
It was a cultivation sealing talisman at the Immortal Emperor Grade.
'Brisc Goldpeak didn't bring a defensive talisman but brought a sealing talisman instead? Was he confident in his defensive prowess due to having a dragon-like body, or is it because he had some other motives…?'
Lea wondered. She didn't know but felt disgusted as this sealing talisman was indeed kept at the forefront of other items, which meant that it was ready to be used. However, people do keep their emergency items at the forefront, so she really didn't know what it would be used for.
