chapter-240
Once Jay made his choice, the FRAME Schema for the ABYSS FRAME appeared in his <STATUS >. His eyes widened with anticipation as he opened it, a mix of rare excitement and apprehension dancing across his face.
The schema unfurled before him, revealing intricate details of the FRAME's requirements and capabilities.

His Physical Pain Resistance had reached a staggering Lv.83, reducing the physical pain he endured by 83%. Most of this achievement was attributed to his <INVERSE > mode.
Despite subjecting him to excruciating levels of pain, it simultaneously honed his resistance to such a degree that he could endure what would incapacitate an average person.
His Innate Talent shielded him during each bout of entering <INVERSE > mode, forcing him to confront the agony and emerge stronger each time.
Across the Universe, few had surpassed Lv.50 in Physical Pain Resistance. Achieving higher levels required enduring an almost unimaginable amount of pain, and any lower level of resistance was insufficient to advance further.
Jay's accomplishment of reaching Lv.83 in just ten days would terrify anyone familiar with the immense difficulty of this feat.
As remarkable as his Physical Pain Resistance was, his Mental Pain Resistance was even more astounding at Lv.68. Although it was lower than his Physical Pain Resistance, it was even harder to achieve.
Mental Pain Resistance involved damage to the mind and consciousness, areas far more difficult to heal compared to physical injuries.
Unlike physical wounds, which could be mended over time, mental trauma left lasting scars. Raising both skills to Lv.100 was nearly impossible, a monumental achievement only the most resolute could hope to attain.
The requirement of those two skills alone highlighted the extreme difficulty and cost of synthesizing the ABYSS FRAME.
Among the other three skills that met the requirement, <Soul Sense> was a passive ability Jay had acquired from Olivia. The remaining two, Lv.29 <Spectral Severance> and Lv.17 <Spirit Seeker> were looted from monsters he had slain during his expeditions with Dante and Akor.
The sheer number of skills Jay possessed had surpassed five thousand, causing MJ to conceal that section entirely to keep his <STATUS > manageable in a single view.
With the mountains of monsters Jay slew daily, selecting between their Innate Talents, Skills, or Mastery had become a daunting task. Consequently, he had entrusted MJ with the responsibility of managing this overwhelming array.
During the invasion, MJ had meticulously handled all looting, ensuring that not a single monster went unlooted. Unless something specifically required Jay's attention, MJ took care of all the menial tasks.
<Spectral Severance> was a potent skill capable of severing a target's soul from their body when they were at their most vulnerable.
In contrast, <Spirit Seeker> allowed its user to inject Spirit Energy into a target and pinpoint their location within a thousand-kilometer radius. It was similar to the Spirit Equipment in his possession, <Fenris Monacle>, which tracked the target's shadow rather than using Spirit Energy.
As for the five skills Jay needed, each was as rare and formidable as the next.
[<Phantom Corrosion>: This ability injected Spirit Energy into a target, initiating a slow, destructive process. The injected energy corroded the body from within, causing intense pain, cellular breakdown, and organ failure. Simultaneously, it attacked the mind, leading to disorientation, hallucinations, and mental collapse. If left unresolved, it results in death through both physical and mental disintegration.]
[<Temporal Stasis>: This ability permitted the user's mind and soul to enter a state of stasis, halting all processes to facilitate recovery. It provides a period of suspended animation, allowing the user to heal from mental and soul damage without the passage of time affecting their condition.]
[<Delusion Vortex>: This ability passively inflicted traumatic delusions on those nearby, gradually eroding their mental stability. The victims experience intense, disturbing hallucinations that led them to act irrationally. If not resolved, the delusions drive them to harm themselves, ultimately resulting in their death.]
[<Terror Apparition>: This ability made the user appear as the most terrifying entity anyone around them had ever encountered. It distorts perceptions, amplifying fear and dread to an extreme level, overwhelming those in proximity with intense horror.]
[<Hell Chamber>: This ability grants access to a small, fiery pocket dimension. The area was a desolate, infernal space marked by intense heat and flames, offering a confined, harsh environment.]
Each skill was rarer than the last, and most possessed the potential to harm the user in one way or the other.
Jay needed to locate those rare skills or alternatives with similar functionalities to be eligible for synthesizing the ABYSS FRAME.
Aside from displaying the skills required to create the ABYSS FRAME and those he already possessed, the schema offered little else, except a brief mention of a glimpse.
Curious, Jay nudged the screen with a thought, prompting a notification to pop up.
[ABYSS FRAME Orientation could only be used once before expiring. Do you wish to experience it?]
Realizing that the Orientation could offer valuable insights into the FRAME's capabilities, Jay agreed.
Instantly, his consciousness was transported to a vast expanse of endless white, a realm devoid of any discernible features.
Although he could exit at any time, doing so would consume the single opportunity to explore the FRAME's potential.
Moments later, a figure materialized not far from him, startling Jay. The figure bore an uncanny resemblance to him, clad in the same black suit and black and golden overcoat.
The doppelgänger's eyes were hollow, devoid of any soul, and its expression remained eerily neutral.
Without warning, the figure charged at Jay, delivering a swift punch aimed directly at his face. Before Jay could fully comprehend the situation, another notification flashed before his eyes.
[ABYSS FRAME Orientation 1st Instance commences.]
