Earth's Alpha Prime

chapter-273
One after another, the Tier-4 monsters fell to the relentless assault of the Arcane element. Within just 10 minutes, every single monster on the 4th floor had been wiped out, marking the successful clearing of the Obelisk.
A series of notifications lit up the vision of every Raid Party member who had participated.

Everyone in the Raid Party waiting in the safe zone was stunned as those notifications signified that Jay had single-handedly cleared the entire 4th floor—and in such a short time. Whispers of disbelief spread among the group, but none were as vocal as Pompa.
His voice cracked with enthusiasm as he shouted, "Boss is the strongest!!" His eyes, wide with admiration, gleamed with newfound pride.
For Pompa, who had already pledged his loyalty as an Origin Sigil holder, Jay's performance was further proof that he had made the right choice. His unwavering faith in Jay's leadership only grew stronger, and the admiration on his face was unmistakable.
In contrast, Vorqen and Vral exchanged quiet, contemplative glances. Unlike Pompa, they had been cautious. Both had opted against becoming Origin Sigil holders, choosing instead to temporarily align themselves with Jay's forces under Earth.
The thought of surrendering their freedom for power made them uneasy. They had always valued their autonomy too much to make such a significant commitment, and Jay had never pushed them to do so. His leadership, while formidable, never felt oppressive to those who weren't part of his inner circle.
Watching his meteoric rise, Vorqen and Vral couldn't help but question their earlier decisions. With outstanding individuals from other Trial Regions hoping to pledge allegiance to Jay, they wondered how long they could afford to remain on the sidelines. If they waited too long, the window to choose might close forever.Their growing concerns were further fueled by Xulkin's return. Once an unremarkable figure, Xulkin had grown stronger, far more powerful than they'd anticipated. His rapid ascent only deepened their unease. Both Vorqen and Vral could sense that it was only a matter of time before Xulkin joined the ranks of Akor, Rex, and Pompa—leaving them further behind in the hierarchy.
Meanwhile, the one responsible for all that—was flooded with notifications announcing the successful clearing of the Obelisk. Yet, unlike the others, the notifications Jay received were different, signaling something far more significant.

Jay stood in the vast desert, exhausted from the continuous use of the Arcane element, but his fatigue was completely overshadowed by the thrill of knowing he was moments away from obtaining the weapon he had dreamed of—the Origin Glaive.
As he waited patiently, a crack in space appeared before him. However, that was no ordinary tear that he could summon with the Arcane element; it was something far more advanced, a breach in the fabric of reality itself.
Through the breach, Jay struggled to comprehend what he saw. A shadow so immense it seemed to warp the very fabric of the galaxy—a colossal being, seated cross-legged in space, its body an ethereal blend of chalk-black and gleaming silver crescents. The sheer scale of the figure was beyond understanding, its presence dominating half the galaxy in which it dwelled.
Jay's eyes widened in recognition. The waist-long silver hair, the powerful build, and the ethereal presence could only belong to one being—the predecessor of LOOT, the INDOMITABLE PRIMORDIAL, ORPHEUS.
He recalled the first time he had seen Orpheus, training atop a hypergiant star during his practice of HEAVEN BREAKER. Even then, he was left speechless by the sheer size and strength of the being.
But what he saw surpassed his wildest imagination. Orpheus's form was far larger than Jay remembered from the vision he had on Day-2.
For the first time, he clearly saw his predecessor's features—youthful yet timeless, a blend of vitality and ancient wisdom. His sharp, regal face carried the weight of eons, as if the entire history of existence was etched into his expression.
His muscular, radiant body seemed forged from stardust, with a flowing silver beard. Hovering cross-legged above a spiral galaxy, he exuded quiet power, his hair cascading like a cosmic river, framing the ageless depth of his visage.
Jay recalled when the System had mentioned his predecessor's sacrifice. If that were true, the figure before him was only the shell of what once was—a body, not a soul.
Lost in his thoughts, Jay suddenly noticed a twinkle speeding toward him from the far reaches of space.
The object hurtled through the void, and as it approached, Jay realized what it was—the Origin Glaive, the very weapon he had seen Orpheus wield. It was so massive that it cleaved through enormous asteroids like twigs in its path. His heart raced with excitement, the fulfillment of his dream so close he could practically feel the weapon in his grasp.
But just as the Glaive was about to cross the space breach and reach Jay, a massive hand emerged from the other side, gripping the shaft of the weapon. The sudden interference sent a chill down Jay's spine.
As he looked closer, he saw the figure on the other side—a being who bore subtle similarities to Orpheus, though with noticeable differences. While not identical to the legendary Primordial, the individual radiated a similar, overwhelming power.
Despite the weapon searing through his flesh and causing his hand to crack like shattered stone, the individual gritted his teeth, refusing to release his grip on the Origin Glaive.
His voice thundered with authority and anger. "How dare you try to steal our clan's Guardian Weapon! You damn thief! Whoever you are, stop what you're doing at once, or prepare to face the wrath of the entire Orpheus Clan!"
Jay was struck speechless, his mind racing. 'All I did was gather enough Universe Points to exchange for the weapon. How was I being accused of theft?'
Before he could respond, the massive figure clenched his right fist, his knuckles glowing with an energy that shimmered in all the colors of the rainbow. The immense power gathering in the fist was terrifying, and Jay knew in that moment that he couldn't withstand it. The figure swung his fist at the space breach, aiming to crush Jay.
For a brief second, Jay believed it was the end. The power behind the punch left him paralyzed, unable to even consider escaping. The force exuded by the being was overwhelming, far beyond anything Jay had encountered.
But as luck would have it, the fist collided with something invisible before it could reach him. Even so, the aftershock of the blow shook the entire Obelisk like an earthquake of unimaginable magnitude. The ground quaked beneath Jay's feet, cracks spreading across the landscape.
The figure cursed under his breath, frustration evident in his voice. "Damn this existential divide. Only the Clan head could bypass it. He should have sensed the disturbance by now."
His gaze burned through the breach, locking onto Jay. "I've seen you, mortal. If you don't stop whatever you're doing, we will scour every corner of the vast Omnos until we find you."
For the first time, Jay felt true fear. The power that being wielded was beyond anything he had ever seen. It made him question if there were beings even above Tier-10. He had never witnessed the might of a Tier-10 firsthand, but the overwhelming strength of the Orpheus Clan member made him feel powerless.
Jay considered revealing that he had become the host of LOOT, but the risk of drawing even more attention from those beings made him hesitate. He remained frozen in place, unable to speak or act, unsure of what to do.
Moments later, another figure appeared beside the one gripping the Origin Glaive. The newcomer resembled Orpheus, with stark similarities to the legendary Primordial. The first being's attention immediately shifted to him, relief washing over his face—a relief born from the presence of their clan's eldest and strongest, the direct descendant of Orpheus himself.
