Klea and Ashaka returned to the Academy with the acolytes, while Thrax, Chumo, Tessa, and Damo made their way back to Terra City. They brought Naya along with them, ensuring she had a safe place to stay and recover from the recent traumatic events in Terra City.

Emery chose to stay behind to make arrangements for Earth's security.

He also wanted to evaluate Earth's four strongest candidates, ensuring they were ready for the trials ahead. Morgana was there to support him, and accompanying them was Shinta who had insisted on coming along to learn more about her father's origins and the place he called home.

With his growing mastery of the law of space, Emery was able to navigate vast distances with ease. A few spatial gates were all it took to transport him between the eastern mountain where his journey began, to the sands of Egypt, where Marc Anthony held his domain, and Rome, where Octavius ruled.

The young emperor needed time to establish his proxy, and while Emery was eager to continue, he noticed Shinta's fascination with the journey. Wanting to nurture her curiosity and bond with her through these shared experiences, Emery decided to allow Octavius the two days he requested to make his preparations. During that time, Brandt also departed, flying swiftly with the Valkyrie to the northern continent.

Emery was left with four women: his daughter Shinta, Morgana, the ever-curious Glita, and the Queen of Brittania, Gwenneth. Gwen, however, seemed particularly eager to speak with him, and her intent gaze hinted at a topic of great importance.

As the three wolf girls—Shinta, Morgana, and Glita—excitedly explored the city, marveling at its sights and sounds, Gwenneth approached Emery with a knowing smile. Her eyes sparkled with a mix of curiosity and amusement as she teased,

"So… a daughter… Hmm, that's a surprise."

The conversation that followed, however, turned from lighthearted to profound. What truly surprised Gwen was not the revelation of Shinta's existence, but rather the calm and composed manner in which Emery shared the tragic story that bound him, Shinta, and her mother. His voice carried the weight of the past—of loss, pain, and the resolve to protect what remained precious to him.

Gwen couldn't help but notice how much Emery had changed. Gone was the uncertain boy she once knew. In his place stood a man, hardened yet compassionate, who had embraced the role of a father.

"I am sure you will be a great father," Gwen said, her voice filled with genuine sincerity.
