It was obvious that the reporter was arranged to heckle Yan Qingsi.

Yue Tingfeng wanted to know which stupid person did that.

All of a sudden, Helan Fangnian’s voice rang from the top of his head. “What are you watching, Tingfeng? You look like you’re really into it.”

Yue Tingfeng closed his laptop with a slap and saw Helan Fangnian standing in front of him since God-knows-when.

Clearing his throat, Yue Tingfeng asked, “Why didn’t you tell me you were here?”

Yue Tingfeng felt annoyed for being so lost in thought that he did not even notice Helan Fangnian coming in.

Helan Fangnian smiled. “There’s nothing to be afraid of in our friendship as long as you’re not hiding any woman here. What were you looking at just now?”

Yue Tingfeng answered half-heartedly, “Nothing. What brings you here?”

Taking a seat opposite Yue Tingfeng, Helan Fangnian said, “Do come to my little sister’s coming of age ceremony. Both you and I watched her grow up, and this ceremony is a once-in-a-lifetime event.”

Yue Tingfeng answered absent-mindedly, “Sure. If nothing is going on at that time, I’ll be there.”

Helan Fangnian asked, “Something’s bothering you?”

“No. You came here just to tell me that?”

“Yes. Just that.”

“Oh…”

Yue Tingfeng was getting anxious. He wanted Helan Fangnian to leave as soon as possible, but for some reason, the latter tried to strike a conversation instead of leaving.

In the end, Miss Sun knocked on the door and came in to remind Yue Tingfeng that there would be a senior management meeting in ten minutes. Only then did Helan Fangnian leave.

After sending Helan Fangnian off, Yue Tingfeng opened his laptop once again.

The press conference was ending soon and the emcee asked different questions to each of the cast members.

On Yan Qingsi’s turn, the emcee quizzed, “I heard you were born and raised in Luo City. I wonder, how does it feel to be acting in such a big movie right in your hometown? Is there anything in particular you’d like to say to anyone?”

She smiled and said, “Actually, there are a few things I really want to tell my family today. I haven’t seen them in three years, and I…do miss them a bit.

“Fortunately, I can take this opportunity to tell my family that I, am back!”

‘I’m back, guys.

‘Three years ago, I said that I’d take back what you owed me.

‘I’m ready; are you?’

Yan Qingsi raised her chin and looked directly at the camera. Her eyes were glimmering and her smile was radiant. The videographer knew that she was not looking at him, but his heartbeat quickened and his face still blushed.

One small lens was hardly able to contain her beauty.

Back at the Yan family home, Yan Mingzhu let out an ear-piercing shriek.

Ye Lingzhi jumped in fright. “Mingzhu! What are you shouting for?”

Yan Mingzhu’s hands trembled as she held her phone. Her face was pale and she called out. “Mommy, mommy…. MOMMY, come here and see this, quick! Come quick…”

Ye Lingzhi frowned and walked over. “What is it?”

Handing over the phone, Yan Mingzhu said, “It’s Yan Qingsi. Mommy, that good-for-nothing Yan Qingsi. It’s her.”

The instant she heard Yan Qingsi’s name, Ye Lingzhi’s expression changed dramatically. She snatched the phone and managed to catch Yan Qingsi’s final sentence: “I can take this opportunity to tell my family that I, am back!”

Ye Lingzhi’s hands were trembling severely. Once she saw Yan Qingsi’s one-of-a-kind face, there was a murderous look in Yan Mingzhu’s eyes, coupled with utter shock.

Yan Mingzhu grabbed her own hair and screamed like a madwoman, “That piece of garbage, how did she manage to go on TV? How did she manage to become a celebrity? MOMMY…what’s gonna happen to us?”
