Truth be told, Yue Pengcheng was unable to live a difficult life. He needed someone to hold him up, believing that the whole world revolved around him. He was spoiled since he was young, making him a pampered and narcissistic old man.

Furthermore, he had delusional self-confidence and naïveté, believing that he could still make Mrs. Yue fall heads over heels for him despite being so old.

Before Yue Pengcheng came, he made sure to groom himself properly. He shaved off his beard, got a haircut, dyed his hair black, and donned a full suit. His shiny hair was slicked to the back.

Through appearance alone, he really did look like an accomplished person.

His eyes burned as they looked at Mrs. Yue as if there were some deep emotions within him.

It was exactly like how he looked at Ding Fu back then.

Mrs. Yue acted as though she did not see him at all. With a raise of her hand, she waved it before her nose and said, “Why is there dogsh*t in front of this nice hotel entrance? It is so stinky. Get it away.”

Yue Tingfeng snickered. It did not take him long to know what Yue Pengcheng had in mind, so he waved him off, “Someone come over here and drive this person away. Didn’t you hear what the Madam said? There’s a pile of DOG SH*T at the hotel entrance. How is it that none of you saw that? Do you want to keep your job or not?”

He had the same thought as his mother when he saw Yue Pengcheng. It was as if he saw a big pile of dogsh*t.

Yue Tingfeng did not expect that Yue Pengcheng would be so shameless as to show his face in front of them.

More likely than not, he was too scared of staying in jail because he suffered so much. Thus, it made him think of Yue Tingfeng’s mother.

As often as the case of a man who was a doucheb*g and a shameless a*shole, no one else could be his match.

Two guards came and immediately escorted Yue Pengcheng away.

Amidst the struggle, he said, “You dare to pull me? You dare to touch me? I’m the biological father of your boss. I’m his father…”

Yue Tingfeng shielded Mrs. Yue and remarked, “I said it long ago. We’re no longer father and son. I know your reasons for coming here, so I’ll take this chance to tell you. You and Ding Fu can go to hell. Don’t ever come and disgust my mother again.”

Yue Tingfeng noticed that Mrs. Yue reacted completely differently from the previous occasion when meeting Yue Pengcheng. From that, he knew that the critical point in her heart had passed.

She looked at Yue Pengcheng as though he was a pile of trash. She hardly even treated him as a person.

“Absolutely disgraceful! I’m your father; you’re my son. If you want to sever off your relationship with me, you’ll have to cleanse your body of the Yue family’s blood. I came to look for your mother, not you, so get out of the way.”

Yue Pengcheng never learned how to be truthful. Even at that juncture, he was still using his status to suppress other people.

It never crossed his mind that he could not pressure anyone.

The reason was that none of them took men like him seriously.

Yue Tingfeng gently placed the luggage bag on the floor. Then, he slowly walked over to Yue Pengcheng.

Smiling, he said, “You’re wrong. There is another way.”

Yue Tingfeng had a beautiful smile. His dazzle was so attractive that it could catch the attention of anyone, capturing them in his endless splendor.

Yue Pengcheng shivered. “What are you planning to do?”

Yue Tingfeng grinned slightly. “It’s none other than… letting out your blood.

“Our relationship—you as the father and I, the son[1]—can easily be severed by draining your blood. Don’t you agree… father?”

The way Yue Tingfeng called out ‘father’ sent chills deep into Yue Pengcheng’s body. “You… You…”

[1] The author wrote, “you as the son and I, the father.” This is likely a lapsus on the author’s part as Yue Tingfeng is the one speaking.
