Chapter 112: Greatest Leniency

When Lin Yuan heard the Moon Empress’ words, he felt warmth in his heart. The Bamboo Monarch’s tone might have sounded gentle, but it was unquestionable. Subsequently, the Moon Empress’ statement was to protect him.

When the Bamboo Monarch found out that the youth beside the Moon Empress was her disciple, he revealed a surprised look on his face before he smiled and said, “I congratulate the Moon Empress for obtaining a great disciple.”

Presently, the Bamboo Monarch knew that nothing he said was going to be useful. Cheng Wu’s attack on the Moon Empress’ disciple was no different than courting death. He watched as the Moon Empress sublimated Cheng Wu’s Gold Ring Spine Gu with the moonlight and didn’t show any signs of obstruction.

After the Gold Ring Spine Gu was disintegrated, Cheng Wu’s originally bloodless face was now even paler, and he was perspiring with cold sweat. The Gold Ring Spine Gu’s death left an immense mental trauma on Cheng Wu’s spiritual energy.

Cheng Wu’s physical injuries didn’t make him suffer as much as the mental trauma. It was unbearable!

All of a sudden, a rather charming voice echoed from the horizon. A masked and black-robed woman arrived while she stepped on air. “The Moon Empress is truly incredible and has directly sublimated this Gold Ring Spine Gu. Cheng Wu had only formed a contract with this source-type lifeform. So, since it is already dead, I wonder if the Moon Empress’ anger is appeased.”

Although the black-robed woman’s mask made it impossible to fully see her face, her eyes were still exposed. She was looking at the Moon Empress with a complex expression.

The Moon Empress lifted her head and looked at the black-robed woman with complex eyes too. However, her expression didn’t change. “It is none of your matters if This Empress’ anger is appeased. As a Chief Guard, why are you not overseeing the Spirit Guards? Are you really that free?”

Lin Yuan looked up at the sky after hearing the words. This black-robed woman is actually the Chief Guard of the Spirit Guards? She is the current era’s top-class expert!

The black-robed woman was now standing beside the Bamboo Monarch as she said, “Xiyue[1], the punishment is enough. You are not young and are already a Class 5 Creation Master. You are the Radiance Federation’s pillar and should know when to punish and reward.”

As soon as the black-robed woman finished speaking, an intense spirit qi wave surged, and a golden-armored middle-aged man appeared next to the red-armored man. He walked past the red-armored man, grabbed Cheng Wu up from the ground, and said in a loud voice, “Chief Guard Ye is right. Cheng Wu is a pinnacle Class 4 Creation Master recognized by the Creation Master Association. Even if he is at fault, he should only be judged first before being punished. Now that the Moon Empress has punished him, leave the rest to me.”

The red-armored man flashed and arrived in front of the Bamboo Monarch. He had to quickly stand away from the gold-armored man. He then silently complained. Why is Iron Prison here too? It is fine if he is here, but he actually dares to speak to the Moon Empress like this? Isn’t he trying to seek trouble?

Given the style that Iron Prison handled matters, he would probably suffer in the Moon Empress’ hands. The red-armored man looked at the Bamboo Monarch and realized that the latter was looking at Iron Prison with a displeased expression. He didn’t know that the Bamboo Monarch was also saying, ‘Not good!’, in his heart.

Iron Prison handles matters in a straightforward manner. Putting it in a nice way is to say that it is his dominance, but is his dominance useful against the Moon Empress? If this isn’t a foolish act, then what is?

Cheng Wu nearly killed the Moon Empress’ disciple. Now that Iron Prison arrived, he actually went against the Moon Empress and ordered her… I don’t even dare to do it!

Cheng Wu had also come back to his senses now and recalled that he was still a respected pinnacle Class 4 Creation Master and very useful to the Radiance Federation. At that thought, Cheng Wu’s mind lit up, so he looked at the gold-armored man who had grabbed him and said, “Lord Iron Prison, I beg you to save me!”

Cheng Wu then turned to look at the Moon Empress. “Lordess Moon Empress, I, Cheng Wu, know I am wrong! I am willing to give up all my wealth to your great disciple! I just hope for you to spare my life!”

When Iron Prison heard Cheng Wu calling him for help, his face turned unpleasant. He might be a straightforward person, but he understood that this would make it seem like he was directly opposing the Moon Empress.

However, Iron Prison didn’t throw Cheng Wu away from his hand and continued to say with a cold face, “Lordess Moon Empress has already given the punishment. You have to set your punishments and rewards apart.”

The Moon Empress sneered and stood in the air. The concentrated moonlight felt as though it had turned solid before it swept at Iron Prison.

“This Empress is the Moon Empress, therefore, my punishment to Cheng Wu is a reward too. So how am I not setting the punishment and reward apart? Since you wish to take Cheng Wu away, then I shall see if you, Iron Prison, have the capability to do so!”

Wherever the Moon Empress’ moonlight swept across, there would be moon-colored ripples. It was utterly beautiful, but everyone who saw it felt a shiver in their spines.

Iron Prison suddenly activated his spiritual energy and summoned a prehistoric dragon beast that was roughly forty meters in size. The dragon beast spat out energy in preparation to defend against the moonlight.

When the Moon Empress saw Iron Prison summoning his fey, her eyes sparkled with cold light. At the same time, the bright moon in the sky suddenly burst out with radiance. The moonlight was like water with ripples, and within those ripples, a bare-footed young girl in a dress made out of the cold moon walked down from the moon.

The young girl’s long hair was the extremely concentrated moonlight, and her gorgeous face had a 70% resemblance to the Moon Empress!

The moment the young girl walked down the moonlight, it felt as though sparkling stars accompanied the moonlight. The prehistoric dragon beast immediately let out a pitiful roar and was sent flying.

Subsequently, the Bamboo Monarch and the black-robed woman each shot out an energy beam to help block the moonlight’s attack.

The Bamboo Monarch looked at the Moon Empress with shock but also pleasant surprise. “Moon Empress, your Cold Moon Lone Disk has reached Myth II!”

The red-armored man beside the Bamboo Monarch looked at the girl that walked out of the moonlight with shiny eyes.

Myth II, feys could transform and take a human form!

The Moon Empress stood in the sky and sneered. “Bamboo Monarch, you old thing. Your Ink Point Emperor Bamboo was already a Myth Breed a few dozen years ago. This Empress doesn’t believe that your Ink Point Emperor Bamboo hasn’t reached Myth II yet.”

The Moon Empress took a glance at the Bamboo Monarch and another glance at the black-robed masked woman before saying, “Since you wish to fight, This Empress shall not hold back! This Empress has been secluded for ten years, and it seems that none of you put This Empress in your eyes!”

After speaking, the Moon Empress lifted her shoulder, and the small white rabbit that was gnawing on the radish suddenly turned extremely purple. Just as its fur was reaching its peak of purple, a voice suddenly echoed from the skies, and it sounded rather urgent.

A man, who originally had a smiling face, was yelling out to the Moon Empress with an urgent expression, “Moon Empress, have you forgotten about the incident ten years ago? You have been in seclusion for ten years. Isn’t it because you weren’t able to forget that incident from ten years ago?”

The voice was extremely urgent, and when the Moon Empress heard this statement, she paused and went silent for a moment.

She waved her hand, and the lone moon in the sky instantly vanished. The afternoon sun became glaring like normal again. The Moon Empress turned around and pulled Lin Yuan before soaring into the sky.

She didn’t turn back to look at anyone, but her cold voice echoed. “Cheng Wu tried to murder This Empress’ disciple, Radiance Federation’s Class 2 Creation Master, Lin Yuan. His punishment should be death. Since all of you used the incident ten years ago to stab at This Empress’ sore spot, Cheng Wu shall be imprisoned to cleanse his sins.”

The Moon Empress paused for three seconds before she continued saying, “He shall not be released unless he dies. This is already This Empress’ greatest leniency.”
