Chapter 275 – Father of Florida Man, Who Fed His Wife Marihuana, Introduces AI to Battleship and Sparks US Navy Concern as Ship Gains Sentient and Joins Vtubing Company

<Warning! The gate will close in 10 minutes. Please return to your world or you will be trapped in this realm.>

After working so hard, Leo managed to digest all beams and reduced their effectiveness to a minimum. Still, they might change the landscape once the time resumed.

Leo stopped working on them. He ordered his men.

"TIME TO BAIL, PEOPLE! LET'S GO HOME!"

Meowmeow and Lucky promptly left the motherships and returned with two massive jiggling backpacks of spatial rings. They presented the bags to Leo with a bright smile.

"There're so many railguns and weapons, woof! They also have good pills and herbs in the rings." Lucky reported.

Meowmeow was also elated, "I manage to extract and smelt some of their ship components and hull using my Qi. You should turn those into ingots and make our original spaceships soon."

Leo was proud of his minions. He ordered them to bring the bags home.

However, one person was missing. Leo looked around, but he couldn't find Aslan.

"Where's Kitten?" Leo asked Meowmeow.

"That guy? Didn't he enter the flagship? He never comes out."

"Huh."

Leo gazed at the flagship of Eleanor. It was located in the middle of the cube ships and cylinders.

Sensing Aslan's life signature from inside the ship, Leo sent a sound transmission to Aslan again in case he didn't hear it.

"Time to go home, Kitten! Stop fishing and come out!"

"…"

Despite the second attempt, Aslan didn't respond.

Leo was annoyed. He rushed toward the flagship and planned to drag the fisherman golem out. However, as soon as Leo got closer, the entire flagship broke free from Leo's time domain restrictions. Its engines hummed in the void and turned the ship around.

Leo, Meowmeow, and Lucky were shocked. They brought out their weapons and got ready for combat. Then, they finally heard Aslan's voice.

"Stand down, master! Guys! I was busy hacking the ship! It's very difficult to program something in the time domain, you know?"

The group was relieved. For a moment, they thought that Aslan encountered something terrible inside and died like unfortunate employees in a certain scraps-scavenging-on-alien-infested-moons-to-feed-eldritch-tentacles-and-meet-quota-to-survive company.

The sense of relief soon turned into shock when Aslan navigated the flagship around and vanished entirely.

"DAFUQ?!"

"WOOF?!"

Meowmeow and Lucky widened their eyes in disbelief. Even though they shared a hive mind, both of them couldn't perceive what Aslan was doing.

Both golems tracked Aslan's location with their psychic link. Then, they discovered the general location of the runaway guy and were flabbergasted.

The guy was already directly on the Yan Empire Planet's orbit!

"M-Master," Meowmeow shivered in disbelief and shock "Kitten has just…"

Lucky finished Meowmeow's sentence, "Kitten just piloted that ship home, woof!"

Leo calmly nodded as he hadn't paid attention to their report at first. A second later, Leo thought of it and turned to them.

"What did you say?"

Lucky and Meowmeow dryly laughed, "Kitten… has driven that ship home, master."

"And how the holy hell did he do that?!"

"…We have no idea either."

"…"

Had Eleanor been there with them, she would have mocked them for treating Aslan as a regular minion as he was a top genius that she had acknowledged. Hacking a spaceship's mainframe and learning a ship's navigation method on the spot was a cakewalk to that guy.

Dreadnaught Flagship "Matriarch"

The dreadnaught was the state-of-the-art hybrid battleship and mothership, specially designed to accommodate Eleanor and her royal guards. It feathered an instant omnipresent drive engine, which allowed the entire ship to teleport anywhere in the universe as long as they had the right coordinate!

From afar, the dreadnaught looked like a rain dragon in Chinese mythology armed with modern weaponry. A humongous saddle on its body carried two pearls on the sides while its back was equipped with a massive cannon. Its six arms wielded a sword, a spear, a shield, a pistol, and a rifle.

The round pearls in the saddle's bags were the residential crew cabins, cafeterias, and entertainment facilities. They were connected to the middle section, where the sensitive modules were located.

The saddle, however, concealed hidden airship hangers and spaceports for smaller ships. A million unmanned drones were parked inside, ready to be deployed at any moment. In addition, moon-sized battleships docked on the saddle, and they were glued to the dreadnaught.

The front and the back, however, were shaped into a face and a rain dragon's long neck. Its 2 billion kilometers length and 50 million kilometers diameter in size could freely move like a real dragon. The scales on the outer hull were the hidden anti-domain weapon ports, where countless guns and missile launchers were equipped to deal with smaller vessels around the dreadnaught.

The left bridge, which was situated inside the rain dragon's left eye, was the primary navigation bridge. On the captain's seat, Aslan let out a long sigh.

"Man, injecting my Qi into the entire ship was too taxing. Eh, it was my fault. I should have told him about my plan. Anyway, it's good to be back home with a real battleship. This one is too good to be left behind."

Aslan was proud of his work. Still, as the massive dreadnaught was larger than the Solar System's Sun, he parked it a light year away from the Yan Empire Planet's solar system. He also reprogrammed the mainframe AI to follow the star system and protect itself from aliens or random asteroids.

Programming a new AI was easy, but editing and auditing the codes was hell. It took Aslan a day to complete the task.

RUMBLE

The dreadnaught no longer needed a pilot. The AI of the ship took over the reign and moved according to Aslan's wish.

<Greetings, Sir Kitten! The weather is nice today! What should we do?>

The newly born AI happily treated Aslan as its master. He was also glad that the AI was easy to talk to.

"Station here and slowly follow this star system's trajectory course."

<Affirmative. The current star system travels at the speed of 250km/s. I'll adjust my speed to match it.>

"Good. I'll be leaving you for a while. Behave and wait until I return, okay?"

<Affirmative. Have a good day, Father.>

"…"

Aslan scratched his cheek in embarrassment. He thought to himself.

'Sorry, Leo. I guess you have a little brother now. Well, I should add a little detail to the AI later.'
