chapter-354
A few minutes later, Alex had killed all the soldiers and let no one escape. The battlefield was full of corpses and blood.
Alex only had one more person to kill. He looked at the unconscious crown prince and called Anna there.
"Hmm… he is still alive and only unconscious. Well, he has lost too much blood, but a Martial Lord is not that easy to die. I can heal him for a little bit, so Jeanne can have her time." Anya said.
Alex nodded his head, "Sure, heal him first and wake him up."
Anya nodded and proceeded with the healing. She stretched his hand toward the crown prince before light glowed around her hands. It then expanded and enveloped the crown prince.Alex could see the wounds on his arms started closing. And not long after that, the crown prince finally opened his eyes.
The moment he opened his eyes, he instantly saw Alex, who was the one in front of him. And it seemed after Anya healed him, he got a bit of energy as he instantly shouted at him, "How dare you do this to me? Don't you know who I am? I am the crown prince of Thiveapia Kingdom. Thiveapia Kingdom won't let you off!"
It seemed he had the energy to talk but not to move around. Alex only ignored his rambling as he turned his head to Jeanne. "Jeanne, even though the others had warned me about this, what kind of play you usually did?"
"Eh?" Jeanne was surprised to hear that question from him. Well, Alex only asked her out of curiosity. However, for Jeanne, she would be more glad than explaining it to him until he understood… maybe he would also become the same as her, and they could 'play' together with someone.
Jeanne came to him, who was in front of Cromwell. When she walked toward him, Alex felt something odd as he could see her weapons on her hands. He remembered that she did not hold any weapon until he asked her that question.
It meant Jeanne took it out when he was surprised by his question. When she almost arrived in front of him, she suddenly stumbled.
"Kya-!" Alex was surprised and tried to help her. But suddenly he heard a scream coming from the person beside him."Argh!"
Alex turned his head and looked at Cromwell. He finally realized that Jeanne purposely looked like she was stumbled upon something and threw her weapon. And the weapon ended up in front Cromwell, cutting his little brother.
"Fufu, sorry sorry. I just stumbled. I never thought it would come your way…" Jeanne said with a sad but playful tone.
Alex twitched his eyebrows. He knew she was just kidding with the apologies. And to think she struck that place the first time she started… Scary.
"You… you… How dare you! I will kill you!"
Jeanne ignored him and looked at Alex. "Well, after this, I usually start from the finger. I will numb all of their body with my lightning except their finger. It will feel a few times more painful than it supposed to if I do that.
"I don't have any monsters around, so I can't make them r.a.p.e him or something. Well, if Anya is coming with me, I can cut them and have Anya to attach them again with her power. Oh yeah, I can also ask Anna to reattach 'that thing' and get r.a.p.ed by a female monster. We can do it again and aga-Oomph!"
Alex immediately used his hand to close her mouth so she would not say anything more. He thought he was already cruel enough by using his Array to torture them. It seemed he was still a newbie in the way of torture. Because he already felt a chill when Jeanne just talked a few sentences.
He would just let her do it if he wanted someone to be tortured. And he would not ask any question since he knew 'Justice' had been served if she was the one in charge of the torture.
"Alright. I will leave him to you." Alex said while slowly releasing his hand from Jeanne's mouth.
"I am not going to join you this time." Anya shook her head. This man was unrelated to Alex, to begin with since his target was Evelyn all along. If it were that old man, she would join. Her rule was to join Jeanne's session if it was a matter concerning Alex. That was why she joined Jeanne when she tortured Intan.
"Fine," Jeanne said, a bit sad. She then dragged Cromwell somewhere, and a series of screams filled their ears.
They just tried to ignore it as Alex looked at his spirits. "I am not going to participate in this war anymore. All of you can continue to participate, but I certainly will go back to the sect after this."
"Then, you will only bring Anna and Evelyn to the sect, right?" Anya asked.
Alex nodded.
"Well, since we have got Leoz, we should be fine." Anya nodded her head. "But you should not forget about your pills first."
"Ah!" Alex almost forgot about this since he did not sell his pill before going to the war. It seemed he would need to go to the Alchemist Guild first before flying back home.
"Anyway, we can take down those groups one by one. It would not be great if we let the Zhou Kingdom increase their power."
"Yeah. I am just wondering whether we should destroy either Zhou Kingdom or the Southern Kingdom when one of you reaches Martial King or not. But it seems, it can wait until the Grand Tournament. I mean, most of the strong people will be there, and we can just kill them there. I am sure their number won't be a problem for all of you, right?" Alex said.
"Oh, you mean, killing them in one fell swoop?"
"Yeah, something like that."
"But it also means that we have time to get stronger. I need to make sure most of us will reach Martial King."
"I will leave the details for you since I am going back to the sect," Alex said.
"Understood. But we will try leveling up without any EXP cards, so even if you get EXP cards, you can save it for later," Anna said.
Alex nodded. "I think that's all, I will be leaving now."
"Ah, goodbye, Master. I truly enjoy him." Suddenly, Jeanne intruded on their conversation.
Alex and Anya were surprised by her sudden appearance. Alex only shook his head helplessly. "Alright."
Alex then carried Evelyn on his back before saying goodbye to the others. After that, he flew off toward the Thiveapia Kingdom capital city once again.
Alex then put down Evelyn on the nearby woods, outside the city. "Anna, take care of her for a little bit while I sell my pills."
"Understood. Just leave it to me." Anna nodded.
Alex then flew to the city. He just entered the city as usual and immediately went to the Alchemist Guild. Of course, he did not forget to use his mask.
He just went to the counter and showed his rank 4 Alchemist badge.
"Rank 4 Alchemist?" The receptionist was obviously surprised.
"I am going to sell pills, rank 4 pill Crystal Skin Pill," Alex said. At first, he wanted to say, 'I want to meet your guild master or something.' But they might feel it rude and might waste his time with unnecessary things. So, he decided to act as usual.
"Mid 4th rank, Crystal Skin Pill?" It truly surprised him to see a mid 4th rank Alchemist out of nowhere. After all, rank 4th Alchemy was not that easy to meet. Without saying anything more, he immediately said, "I will ask the elders to check your pill, Senior."
Alex nodded, and the receptionist guy immediately went somewhere. And not long after, he brought your typical elder that would examine his pills. Alex wanted to skip some process or some talks, so he immediately took out the bottle that contained twenty Crystal Skin Pills.
"I have fifty bottles with the same quality," Alex said.
The old man frowned when Alex did not show any respect for him. But as soon as he smelled the pill scent, he immediately grabbed the bottle and checked the pills. "Perfect Purity… All of them are Perfect Purity… I will go ask the sect master."
Alex already expected this since he knew this old man would not have the authority to conclude a transaction involving 20 million Spirit Stones. Well, Alex also knew about it because of the experience in Heavenly Sword Town.
But that surprised shout alone suddenly attracted attention from nearby people.
"Look at that mask…"
"I feel I have seen that mask from somewhere?"
"He is the guy that was in the auction."
"Ah, you mean the one who challenged Elder Oliver?"
Alex tried to ignore them, hoping no one would be foolish enough to approach him. Fortunately, there was no one that dared to approach him.
After waiting for a little bit, he saw a brown-haired old man come to him. He was not the elder from earlier.
"Hello, I am Chris, a high 4th rank Alchemist, as well as the Alchemist guild master in this town. I heard you want to sell a thousand perfect quality Crystal Skin Pills?" The old man said as he remembered Alex's mask.
He also participated in the auction in the VIP room. He could clearly see this mask from there. Chris knew that Alex was not someone he could offend. Even though the elder, who informed him about Alex said, he only had a low 4th rank Alchemist badge. Just by looking at the quantity and qualities alone, Alex's level should not be that low.
He knew that Alex must have hidden his power this entire time. And with this transaction alone involving 20 million Spirit Stones, he could really picture Alex forking out 77 million Spirit Stones casually.
"Indeed." Alex nodded.
"Let me lead you to my office, and we can conclude the transaction," Chris said politely.
"I have something to do after this, so I hope we can finish this transaction fast," Alex said casually.
"Of course." Chris nodded his head and immediately guided him to his room. As soon as they reached the room, Chris then asked, "May I have the pleasure to examine your pills?"
Alex then gave him the space ring. It contained fifty bottles of Crystal Skin Pills. It seemed Chris only checked one of the bottles.
"You are not going to check the others?"
"I am sure a person with your status would not deceive someone in this guild."
"…" Alex did not say anything as the door suddenly opened.
"Guild master, this is 20 million Spirit Stones." It was the elder from earlier. Chris asked him to fetch the Spirit Stones immediately. That was the reason why Chris greeted Alex personally, not him.
Alex took the space ring and said, "Then, I will excuse myself."
He then left the alchemist guild and searched for a nearby alley where no one was around. He then teleported to his previous location.
"Have you finished your business?" Anna asked.
Alex nodded his head. He then carried Evelyn before flying again toward Heavenly Sword Sect. Since he did not need to match his flying speed to Evelyn, he went pretty fast and only used almost four days to arrive at Heavenly Sword Town.
Surprisingly, Evelyn did not wake up a single time. He tried to check her condition with his Spirit Eyes, but she did not seem to have any problem. Even her Spiritual Energy had stabilized and started recovering. It seemed she would wake up as soon as her Spiritual Energy recovered.
When he finally arrived, he brought the unconscious Evelyn to his house. Even though Song Yu was not there anymore, he still did not want just to come inside her house for whatever reason.
He put down the unconscious Evelyn on his bed as he activated his Spirit Eyes. And since more than half of her Spiritual Energy had been recovered, Evelyn should be able to wake up tomorrow or the day after.
