chapter-642
Leoz appeared in front of the sect master, slashing his sword downward. He never thought the situation forced Alex to use his Hell Inferno again.
Alex had gotten a mouthful of lecture either from the technique itself or Anna. The technique really consumed almost all of his Spiritual Energy if he wanted to create this powerful fireball. Anna already had a grave expression, ready to lecture him after everything was over.
On the other hand, Leoz had a very important mission. Seeing the sect master managed to react and wanted to stop Alex, it was better to kill him first as to create chaos in their ranks. The disciples wouldn't go to Alex if they knew their sect master was dying.
"Thunder Slash!" Leoz's sword released a powerful yellow lightning, sparking around to make it look menacing.
"Blood Slash!" The sect master was also not a pushover as he managed to use his strongest Sword Attack. "Don't mind me. Go att-!"Before he finished his swords, Leoz used every ounce of his strength and blew him away to the ground. He might be a 7-Star Martial Monarch because of the Berserk Pill, but Leoz was a genuine 7-Star Martial Monarch without one. Leoz even activated his True Spirit Body to boot. In one on one showcase like this, it was easy to see who had the advantage.
*Bam!*
Blasting him away to the ground, Nelson pointed his hand toward the ground as ten electric balls. They created a spark that linked themselves together before manifesting powerful electricity in the middle of these balls.
"Thunder God Cannon."
He only used half of his power in this cannon, but it was enough to show his power to the other disciples and grab all their attention. This way, they would forget about Alex's for a while, allowing him to infuse more and more energy for his Hell Inferno.
The lightning was shot out of these electric balls, making its way toward the sect master. Obviously, the sect master used every single of his energy to strike this attack if he wanted to stay alive.
"Blood Slash!"The dark red Sword Wave flew toward Leoz's Thunder God Cannon. This clash gave birth to a mighty shock wave that forced the other disciples to use their energy to hold their position.
Unfortunately, the sect master already saw the conclusion. Without a single second where he could use it to escape, his Sword Wave was swallowed by the lightning and made its way toward him. Even the shock wave only lasted for a split second.
Not giving up yet, the sect master still raised his sword and struck it again with his sword.
"Heavenly Sword Strike!"
Leoz thought nothing about this last struggle as he could already picture how the sect master either died or got heavily injured after taking this attack.
*Boom!*
A huge explosion followed the attack, making the others panic.
"Sect Master!" The disciples and elders shouted.
It didn't create a huge hole since it was a different technique than the one he used on the Joyful Union Sect's soil. However, it still created a massive crater on the ground with the sect master bleeding all over. Even though he came out alive, his eyes somehow lacked focus while his hand dropped the sword.
"Sect Master!" They shouted once again, happy to see the sect master was alive. However, Leoz already anticipated such a thing, so he already arrived in front of the sect master and sliced his head before sending it flying to create a more dramatic effect for these disciples and elders.
"You bastard!" They couldn't contain their anger anymore. If Leoz did it casually, they would be scared by his power. However, seeing how Leoz actually disgraced their sect master triggered them.
Leoz simply looked at them with a nonchalant expression as if he didn't do anything big. The disciples and elders around him were ready to attack him, but Leoz simply glanced at his master, Alex.
"I have finished both of my missions. I need to go." Leoz said before turning into a stream of yellow light, flying toward Alex.
This was the time they realized they had forgotten about their sect master's master, allowing Alex to finish his move.
The other spirits already came back into their own respective card while his contracted beasts already hid within his body. This was literally the attack that contained all of Alex's power, hoping to kill at least ten to fifteen people at once.
He didn't mind if the barrier broke afterward, but he needed at least to lower their number to three thousand, or they might miss some disciples in their pursuit.
Alex smiled as the Spiritual Energy was concentrated on his mouth. From there, he released every bit of that energy to order his Hell Inferno.
"Hell Inferno."
The fireball with a thirty-meter radius finally popped out like a balloon. All the heat, fire, and mass inside were burst out in every direction.
"!!!" Alex was already a 3-Star Martial Monarch, and this attack contained all of his energy. If there were people that could survive from this attack, they would be at least Martial Monarch. All the lower levels couldn't contain this heat and turned into ashes. This was especially true for Martial Kings or below, albeit there were not many low-level disciples in this place because the Blood Pill managed to increase them in a short time.
This giant explosion swallowed everything around him and reached his own barrier. The Space Element inside the barrier began sucking all the fire energy within this explosion, but it turned out the barrier wasn't fast enough. The Gathering Array kept absorbing all the Spirit Gems energy, so the array could repair itself. Yet, it was also futile.
The barrier was gradually burned down by Alex's power before the entire barrier slowly crumbled.
Alex certainly had miscalculated how powerful this attack would be after using it with his Fire Authority. It couldn't be compared to the one he used to kill Moar anymore.
After everything was over, Alex could only see a few people were still alive. They were able to kill around fourteen thousand disciples, but this attack really brought it to another level. He could see there were barely one hundred people left, yet he couldn't be happy in his heart. Not only did it really take a toll on his body, but he also knew that Sherry was also a stubborn person.
In the middle of casting this attack, Sherry entered his body first even though it should be later, only right before he wanted to use his Hell Inferno.
As soon as Sherry entered his body, he felt a surge of strength that went toward his Hell Inferno. That could only mean one thing, Sherry was increasing the input on this attack. Due to her having the same Fire with Alex with that Phoenix Seed, she could strengthen this attack even further.
If Alex could be reckless by using this Hell Inferno, she could also do the same by infusing her energy to this attack. Yet unbeknownst to them, Anna was ready to scold them for a long time while they were trying to recover their energy.
But… For the time being, the spirits came out, including Anna, who glanced at Alex (and Sherry) with a cold gaze. Anya simply shrugged her shoulders as Alex and Sherry had pissed Anna. She might be a very supportive person, but she was also a scary woman.
After all, the previous Alex also didn't dare to make her mad. He didn't want to fight back since Anna was his wife, but the latter used her butterfly to torture him by making him unable to act the way he wanted to and did anything that embarrassed him… She never did it to the current Alex but was on the verge of it when Alex first used this technique.
Anna snorted as she commanded, "Kill all of those bastards at once."
The spirits quickly followed her order while Stina and Kyle also felt this immeasurable pressure that forced them to follow her order. At the same time, she grabbed Greg's shoulder and asked, "Watch these two for me."
Greg nodded furiously and came closer to Alex, trapping him inside a green barrier.
Anna glanced at him once more before chasing the others. Greg looked at Alex and said, "Young Master… I feel that you have passed Anna's limit of patience…"
"What do you mean?" Alex didn't know a single thing about this and tilted his head in confusion.
"I mean, she is really pissed this time, and I feel like she will do something you don't want to imagine…" Greg let out a sigh.
"What do you mean? Can you explain it more clearly? I knew that I used my Hell Inferno again, but the situation forced me to do so." Alex furrowed his eyebrows.
Greg fell into silence before shaking his head. "Anyway, just know that no one will actually help you, Young Master. Even Anya won't help you…"
He wanted to say that Lin Xingzhi wouldn't help him as well, but he didn't want to say anything about her before Alex met the actual Lin Xingzhi and had a feeling for her. After all, it might disturb his current feelings for her.
"Wait, tell me more about it." Alex didn't know why, but he started sweating profusely. Unfortunately, Greg refused to say anything and waited for Anna to arrive.
A few minutes later, everyone had finished killing the remaining Black Devil Sect members. Everyone other than Anna was gathering all the Space Rings they could find before making a bonfire by using the corpses, Blood Pills, and Berserk Pills. They needed to make sure that these three things didn't pollute this continent anymore.
On the other hand, Anna put on a serious expression, staring at Alex coldly. "You know that your Hell Inferno takes a toll on your body, right?"
"Yeah." Alex took a deep breath to calm his heart and nodded.
"And you still used it…" Anna narrowed her eyes, crossing her arms.
"But… I was forced by the situation. If I didn't use it, the enemies would escape. Besides, the spirits had used their strongest attack and ended up in the same state as me… Why don't you scold them as well?"
Anna didn't say anything. She looked at Greg. "We should have a couple of days before anyone notices that we have exterminated Black Devil Sect. Let us search for a room inside so I can have time to talk it out with him."
Greg could only nod and follow Anna while bringing Alex.

Alex looked at the notification, but couldn't be happy as he felt danger from Anna. Someone said that you shouldn't anger a good person that always supported you, and Alex could somehow understand that idiom.
