Yan Su strolled along the pathway near one of the canals, trying to clear her mind. She’d had one too many, and although she wasn’t drunk, she was feeling lightheaded. Suddenly, seemingly from out of nowhere, a Hollywood star rushed behind her, followed by a gaggle of adoring fans who started charging toward that young star in a frenzy.

Yan Su wasn’t prepared for that and tried to move out of the way. In the din, someone accidentally brushed against her and sent her flying toward the water.

“Be careful…” A deep voice was heard, sounding nervous and full of concern.

Before Yan Su could react, someone pulled her body into his arms, which felt vaguely familiar.

The hot, muggy night intensified the man’s musky scent and the yeasty aroma of beer on his breath. Her head started spinning.

Yan Su felt as if her brain was burning. With her cheek against his pecs, she turned her head and looked up. Under the bright streetlights of Venice, Mo Liuxi’s face looked glamorously gorgeous. The two of them stood there staring at each other, his dark eyes reflecting the colorful lights.

All of a sudden, another crowd of crazed fans dashed in their direction. Mo Liuxi and Yan Su quickly turned around and switched places. This time it was Mo Liuxi who was falling toward the canal. The whole thing happened so fast.

Looking at him, Yan Su recalled how he killed her over and over again during the game earlier that night. As anger rose from her heart, she gently pushed him forward without thinking. In the next second, Mo Liuxi fell into the water with a splash.

“Someone fell in the water!”

A person on the pathway screamed out loud.

The other crew members came running over.

Mo Liuxi was thrashing about and finally grabbed onto the shore. He popped his head out of the water, glared at Yan Su, and yelled, “Yan Su, I saved you, but you pushed me into the water!” His hair was dripping wet.

Yan Su came to her senses, realizing what she had just done.

“Um… I… didn’t mean it,” she stammered. She guiltily extended a hand to help pull him out.

“You think I believe you?” Mo Liuxi clenched his teeth. Then he felt her push him on the chest.

He angrily held Yan Su’s hand and dragged her into the water.

She panicked: she didn’t know how to swim. Mo Liuxi yanked her hair and pulled her head up. Then he put the other hand around her waist and reached for the shore.

“Let’s see if you can push me now,” he snapped.

“You…” Yan Su was furious. She was soaking wet, and her body was pressed tightly against his. She was wearing a short skirt, and her legs had to cling against his. It was cold in the water, but she felt hot.

At that very moment, some reporters came out and started taking pictures of the two of them.

Yan Su wanted to cry, but no tears came out. She was wet. Her hair was messy. And It was so embarrassing! And aside from that, she and Mo Liuxi were holding each other. It would become shocking news.

“Su, come up.” Shi Xiang reached out his hands to help her up.

Yan Su reached toward him.

Mo Liuxi unexpectedly whispered in her ear, “Don’t forget, you’re wearing a short dress. Don’t blame me if people saw your underpants.”

Yan Su froze. She wanted to eat him alive at that moment. Aargh!

“Hold here, don’t fall.” Mo Liuxi pushed her onto the shore and tore off his shirt and wrapped her legs with it.

Yan Su was stunned a little, and still dizzy. Before she realized what happened, he started pushing her upward.

Li Ming and Shi Xiang quickly pulled her out of the water.

After that, Mo Liuxi put both hands on the shore, propped himself up, and nimbly leaped out of the water. His shirt was gone. His upper body was bare. His hair was wet. The water streamed down his perfectly toned body. The masculine hormone radiated from him, causing the hearts of the people around him to thump and their cheeks to turn red.
