“Yes.”

Yan Su was rather worried. She hoped that her daughter would also look a little like her after growing up.

“Sis, he is really stupid.” Yan Jin didn’t hold anything back. “He doesn’t even know that he has a daughter. However, I think… it’s no good even if he is treats Yan Yan well. He must be good to you too.”

“That’s right.” Yan Su nodded. Although she was troubled at times by her younger brother’s maturity, there were some benefits too.

“That’s why I am in the process of getting to know him. If he isn’t a good man, or if he is unfaithful, or has a terrible personality, even if Yan Yan is his daughter, I won’t tell him. If he is a good man, we can get together, but if he knows that Yan Yan is his daughter, even if we don’t end up together, he will still fight for custody.”

“I understand.” Yan Jin covered his mouth in all seriousness. “I will never let the secret out. Yan Yan is our family’s treasure, so she will always be Yan Yan, not Mo Yan.”

Yan Su: “…”

Indeed, she cannot be named Mo Yan. [1]

“Therefore, remember not to tell mum or dad either.”

“All right, this is a secret between sis and me.” Yan Jin was especially happy. He finally had a huge secret in his heart, and he instantly felt like an adult.

As the secret was so heavy, Yan Jin lost sleep and slept all the way till 8:00 a.m. the next morning, showing no signs of waking up.

Yan Su had just finished freshening up when she heard a knock on the door. She went over to take a look, only to find Mo Liuxi who was there to deliver the promised breakfast. He didn’t have any work scheduled today, so he was in a black longline down jacket, jeans and Dr Martens boots. He had a tall figure, so the outfit didn’t look bloated or out of place on him at all.

“You came a little early. Jin hasn’t woken up yet,” Yan Su said.

“Yes, I can tell, and you haven’t even brushed your hair yet.” Mo Liuxi nodded. “It looks like a bird’s nest.”

At his words, Yan Su blushed as she glared him. When she attended the function last night, the stylist put a lot of gel in her hair. She should have washed it out last night but as she came back too late, she decided to put it off till this morning. However, because she hadn’t had a proper rest recently, she ended up not wanting to get up from bed.

“Am I wrong?” Mo Liuxi gave her a toothy smile.

“I’m going to wash my hair.” Yan Su turned to leave.

“Wash after you eat. I’ve already seen you at your worst.” Mo Liuxi walked in.

Yan Jin was sprawled out on the bed with all four of his limbs fully extended. His feet were on the pillow, and only his tummy was covered by the blanket.

“Tsk, that pose is really quite something,” Mo Liuxi said

“Children all sleep like this.” Yan Su turned around to look at him. “Mo Liuxi, does your mouth contain poison?”

“I haven’t brushed my teeth yet. You can try smelling if you don’t believe me.” Mo Liuxi opened his mouth.

Yan Su thought that he must be crazy, but she was the crazier one for actually walking over and pretending to sniff. “Indeed, no wonder your mouth is so stinky, it’s overwhelmingly stinky…”

Mo Liuxi’s head bent to stare at her lush lips that were moving incessantly, and he shifted forward to hush her pink lips.

“Mo Liuxi, you…” Yan Su moved away from him at lightspeed. Her head was raised, and her black shining eyes made her look like a small, frightened deer.

“It’s because you said that my breath stinks, so I’m going to torment you with my stinky breath.” Mo Liuxi continued staring at her unblinkingly. Two red patches appeared on her fair face.

His eyes shifted, and he moved forward again, pressing their lips together.
