“Am I not keeping a distance?” Mo Liuxi glanced at the space between them and said, “I’m about thirty centimeters away from you.”

“The perfect distance will be when you walk here and I walk on the other side of the road.” Yan Su pulled her mask upward while speaking. She worried the others might recognize her.

Mo Liuxi glanced at her and said, “I haven’t seen you in three days. Do you think what you said is possible?”

As Mo Liuxi fixed his eyes on her, Yan Su’s cheeks started burning again.

She really shouldn’t talk to him here.

She turned and kept moving forward. Mo Liuxi leisurely followed behind her and said, “Hold out your hand.”

Yan Su kept her head lowered and ignored him.

“I’m gonna hold your hand if you don’t do what I say,” Mo Liuxi threatened her.

Yan Su was almost losing her mind. “What on earth do you want? I was in the headlines last time. There can’t be another rumor about me. People will see me as a playgirl. Can’t you think about my reputation?”

“What do you think I’m going to do? Hold your hand?” Mo Liuxi wore a meaningful expression. His pupils shrank slightly while he responded with, “Do you think I’m that kind of person?”

“I have no idea what kind of person you are. You are more and more mysterious to me,” Yan Su said, complaining.

Mo Liuxi chuckled and said, “Come on. I won’t hurt you. Hold out your hand.”

His intimate tone of speaking made Yan Su’s cheeks turn red. There was no close relationship between the two of them. Why did he talk to her like that?

To end the conversation sooner, Yan Su had no choice but to hold out her hand.

Mo Liuxi took out a wrap of tissue from his trousers’ pocket, spread it, then poured a handful of sunflower seeds on her palm.

Yan Su was surprised.

She knew about sunflower seeds. Earlier, during lunch, Mo Liuxi was peeling them the whole time. He said that he would eat them all at one time. She didn’t see the sunflower seeds again after she and Luosang returned from the bathroom. She thought he had eaten them, but unexpectedly, he was keeping them.

“Do you want me to… make you a sunflower seed pancake?” Yan Su asked.

Mo Liuxi burst into laughter. Sometimes, he wanted to open up her skull and see her brain.

“I don’t know how to make sunflower seed pancakes…” Yan Su said, her eyes turning away from him.

“All right. They are for you. I think you know that,” said Mo Liuxi coldly.

Yan Su felt a lot of pressure. She wished that a sunflower seed pancake was what he really wanted. “But I don’t like sunflower seeds,” she said.

“I like them. I’m giving what I like to you.” Mo Liuxi looked down at her. The look in his eyes suddenly turned gentle and warm.

Yan Su’s heart raced. For a moment, she was distracted.

“And…” Mo Liuxi continued saying, “Where are you moving to next year?”

Yan Su pressed her lips together and stayed silent.

Mo Liuxi looked at her for a few seconds, then smiled again. “It’s okay. I’ll go wherever you go.”

“Mo Liuxi…” Yan Su honestly didn’t know how to respond to him. “Don’t do this…”

“Call me Liuxi.” He gave her an order.

Yan Su stayed silent.

How could she possibly call him that? Even thinking about calling his name like that, made her feel ashamed.

“Why would I listen to you? Would you call me sister if I told you to?” said Yan Su unhappily.

Mo Liuxi smiled and then said, “Baby.”

Yan Su gave a start. She hurriedly looked around. Thankfully, no one was looking at her.

“Are you crazy?” she said. “I just told you to call me sister.”

Mo Liuxi nodded and said, “Silly little girl.”

Yan Su was speechless. She honestly didn’t know how to communicate with him in a normal way. She buried her face in her hands; her face blushed scarlet.

“Eh, I got to go.” she said as she trotted away.
