Rong Yi wondered, “So the room just now was a phantom?”

Yin Jinye said, “No.”

“Are you sure?”

Yin Jinye took out the books he had just collected, “The books are still there. I guess the owner of the abode set up a transmission formation on the door. After the door is opened, closed, and re-opened, we will be transferred to another place.”

Qi Lan looked back at the outside, “Junior brother, our people are missing.”

Yin Jinye’s group walked to the door and found the scenery outside changed. It was no longer an abode and channel, but a tea house.

Piao Shi felt a stone on the wall and reported immediately, “There’s a switch here. Should I turn it on?”

“Wait, I’ll ask the little evil kid before I decide.” Rong Yi’s body hurriedly asked, “Have you ever come here?”

The little evil kid shook his head.

Yin Jinye said to Pian Shi, “Open it.”

At the command, Pian Shi carefully turned on the switch, only to hear the rumbling sound from the wall. Then, a door appeared on the rock wall next to him, and the lights inside lit up immediately to illuminate the whole corridor.

Rong Yi first threw a spiritual stone into it, making sure there was no trap.

Rong Yi’s body let Jiang Mu and the little evil kid stay outside in case the stone door closed, there were people outside opening the door for them.

Around the wall was a spiral staircase reaching the bottom ground after five loops around the four walls

Before they could see clearly the situation inside, Qi Lan suddenly shouted, “Jinye, look at that sword in the corner.”

“A sword? What sword?” Rong Yi and Yin Jinye looked to the corner. A white sword with purple light was leaning against the wall.

Yin Jinye squinted, quickly walked over, and took out a lighting magical weapon to illuminate it.

Rong Yi asked Yin Jinye, “Is there a problem with this sword?”

He did not answer.

“Is it his?” asked Qi Lan in a heavy voice.

Yin Jinye nodded, “Yes, with his unique engraving on it.”

Rong Yi’s body was curious, “Whose sword is it?”

Qi Lan did not speak but wore a darkened face.

Yin Jinye said softly, “It belongs to my father.”

Rong Yi showed a surprised face, “Why did your father leave his sword here?”

Rong Yi’s body was also curious, “This is a level-9 divine magical weapon. How could your father be willing to throw it here?”

Qi Lan snorted, “His father has plenty. But this should be his favorite one.”

Rong Yi was confused, “You said the sword was his favorite one, so there is no reason for him to throw it here at will unless the place was his secret territory for storing his treasures or he had once come here and accidentally left it here.”

Qi Lan said with a cold face, “It’s best that he died here.”

Rong Yi recalled what had happened to Qi Lan and couldn’t help focusing his eyes on Yin Jinye.

Yin Jinye’s face was as usual, showing no sign of anger.

Rong Yi’s body held out his hand to grab the sword but was clenched his arm by Yin Jinye.

“Don’t move it. Not everyone can touch my father’s sword. You might be bounced back and killed by the seal on his sword.”

Qi Lan sneered, “His father treasured his magic weapon. Even if his wife and children were not allowed to touch it as if the magic weapon was his real family member.”

Yin Jinye lowered his eyelids and did not make any noise.

Rong Yi and his body looked at each other, “Can’t you touch it even with your cultivation? Does it mean we’re impossible to take it out?”

Yin Jinye straightened up, “Leave it here. If my father needs it, he’ll come back to fetch it himself.”

Qi Lan walked to the front of the sword, “I’m really curious. What happened to him to make him leave without his beloved magical weapon?”

Yin Jinye said in a heavy voice, “Maybe as you said, he may really be dead.”

Qi Lan just snorted.

Sensing the atmosphere was not right, Bu Qi hurriedly said, “Let’s not stand here and go to other places to see if there is anything special.”

“Okay.” Xiang Lv and Pian Shi walked around to check the situation.

Both Rong Yi and his body sensed that Yin Jinye and Qi Lan seemed to have something to say, so they went to one side consciously.

Rong Yi’s body said to Rong Yi using voice transmission, “I can tell that Jinye doesn’t like his father.”

Rong Yi nodded and already had this idea when Yin Jinye first mentioned his father.

“His father acted like he was not related to his son, either. He wasn’t even willing to show his son his magic weapon. What kind of father he is! Think about our father: as long as he made a high-level magic weapon, he would show it to us in the first place and explain how it was made.”

“Yes, our father is good.”

“We should be glad that his father has disappeared, otherwise, the man will definitely oppose Jinye to be with us.”

“Yes. Let’s skip the topic and see if there’s anything valuable here.” Rong Yi went to the cabinet beside him. When he saw a small wooden box inside, he took it out and opened it carefully.

What was inside truly shocked him, “Cell phone, it was a cell phone!”

He used voice transmission which could only be heard by Rong Yi, so others didn’t hear what he said.

Rong Yi was also very surprised. He took it out and looked at it. It turned out to be a smartphone of the same era with his. It was new, and there was no scratch on the screen.

“I’ll see if I can open it.” Rong Yi’s body snatched the mobile phone and turned it on. Unexpectedly, there was still electricity, “Has someone transmigrated here from the same world with us?”

Rong Yi shook his head, “It’s hard to say.”

Rong Yi’s body went through the contents of the mobile phone, “Damn, this is a newly-bought mobile phone without any personal information, not even a photo, so I don’t know who owns it. Ironically, there is still a bar on it. Can I make a phone call?”

He never remembered the numbers of his family and friends, so he pressed an ambulance number at random. A woman’s voice immediately came in.

He was dumbfounded.

Finding there was no sound, the other party repeated ‘hello’ several times.

Rong Yi looked at his shocked expression and said in surprise, “Connected?”

Rong Yi’s body hurriedly said to the people on the opposite side, “Can you hear me?”

The other party continued with ‘hello’ as if not hearing a sound.

“Can’t you hear me?”

“You’re using voice transmission. It would strange if the other party can hear you.” Rong Yi took the mobile phone and put it beside his ear. There was the sound of hanging up. When he called again, he failed to get through.

“So strange, why can’t I get through?”

“No way, I got through just now.” Rong Yi’s body redialed the number, and it was immediately connected, “Yes, it’s connected.”

He put his mobile phone beside Rong Yi’s ear.

Rong Yi still could not hear any voice, “I can’t hear.”

Rong Yi’s body pointed to the screen, “Look for yourself, you’re in a call.”

Rong Yi, “…”

Rong Yi’s body hung up the phone, “Could it be because your body is from here, so you can’t contact the world over there.”

Rong Yi asked, “Have you ever used your mobile phone to contact anyone?”

“My cell phone has no signal.” Rong Yi’s body felt even stranger, “Why does this mobile phone have a signal?”
