I Hate Systems
-
chapter-549
Boom!
A mystical presence coursed throughout the Apocalypse World as every human and animal here fainted. It happened the moment Stencil finished fusing Rhizen's second body with the world, thereby spreading around the new power system.
Due to that, the old power system of the Apocalypse World was rendered redundant, hence forcing all the inhabitants into a state of unconsciousness.
Rhizen closed his eyes, sensing the changes to their power system as he could feel his power regressing. After all, the old power system was no longer in effect.
From Stage 7, he dropped all the way to become a normal human. And after that, energy swirled into his body, gradually awakening a mysterious space in him, wholly manifested through the Nacre that appeared in the world.Like Origin Essence in the Folkan Secret Realm, the world itself began to produce Nacre, causing it to gradually permeate through the air, water, land, plants, and everything.
Moreover, it permeated seamlessly, not inciting any rejection reaction from any of the inhabitants.
Boom!
There was a spike of Nacre in Rhizen as he closed his eyes, falling unconscious immediately as he appeared in the Beast Armoury, noticing the countless Mutated Beasts roaming around, getting used to the new place and their new life.
The moment he arrived, the Mutated Beasts instinctively swerved their heads in his direction, becoming excited as they rushed at him, expressing their intent to become his Mutated Beast.
But, Rhizen didn't accept them, smiling as he slowly walked forward in the void that seemed physical somehow. Gradually, the crowd parted as he arrived before a certain vulture-like creature, "I'm here, buddy."
Kieee! The vulture-like creature flapped its wings happily in response before flying into him, turning into a ray of light before disappearing.
Immediately after, Rhizen returned to reality, opening his eyes as he sensed the vulture-like bird happily pedalling through the pool of Nacre accumulating in the mysterious space formed in his body, "Origin Space…"
"I'll call this space the Origin Space," Rhizen nodded, "And for the Mutated Beasts living here, calling them Internal Beasts sounds about perfect."
His mind digested all the memories related to the vulture-like creature as a pair of wings manifested on his back. Smiling, Rhizen looked at Stencil, "Can I test it on you?"
"Sure," Stencil smiled, creating a faint wisp on her hand that was formed using the Happy-Go-Lucky System.
A feather shot out from the wings on his back, slamming into the wisp before creating a minor explosion, having a blast radius of only a couple of centimetres.
The wisp was obliterated as a result, leaving behind no traces.
Upon seeing this, Rhizen heaved a sigh in relief, "Thankfully, it's working."
"That was…EPIC!" Immortal lost control of himself, shouting in jubilation, for the first time in his infinitely long existence, he had seen the power that could actually kill Systems.
And, this was wielded by someone that wasn't the Main Character. This meant that eventually, the various Gods like Immortal and Truck-Kun too would be able to do the same.
After all, as worlds like the Apocalypse World gain the power to go against the Systems, as the personification of all the worlds forming their respective genres, the Gods too would be able to wield the same.
Meaning, they would no longer be helpless against the Systems.
"Let's find our first target already!" Truck-Kun was the most excited, "Since this is an Apocalypse World, you will have a better time going against worlds from the same genre."
"Will it not work in other genres?" Rhizen asked, confused.
"It's just more effective in the Apocalyptic genre." Truck-Kun said, "If the genre was only a mere term used to segregate the various power systems, then we wouldn't have formed in the first place."
"I see, so these powers are the most effective in apocalyptic worlds." Rhizen nodded, understanding what Truck-Kun was getting at.
Rhizen then condensed a small sphere on the palm of his hand, gazing at Truck-Kun as he said, "Can you give this to the Heaven Divine Martial Spirit?"
"Sure," Truck-Kun nodded, happy to help, especially since the sphere in his hands was what would allow the Fire dragon—The Heaven Divine Martial Spirit—in the Cultivation World to gain the power to go against the Systems.
As to how it would integrate this power into the power system of its world, that was entirely up to it. Rhizen's end of the deal was only to give it the means necessary to kill the Systems.
Moreover, the Secret Society formed by the Double-Faced Monkeys was still there, even though it wasn't functioning at full power for the time being. Just its existence alone was enough to buy the Fire Dragon more than enough time to make all preparations.
After all, it only needed to produce new Martial Spirits using this power. And the cultivators awakening to these Martial Spirits would naturally be able to counter the Systems.
Slowly, everyone in the Apocalypse World began to get up, sensing the changes to the place. Following that, information regarding the establishment of the Post-Apocalyptic Dispatch Society resounded in their minds.
This was obviously left behind by Rhizen in their power system itself. Moreover, he had implanted information regarding the Systems and the goal of the society he wished to establish, also including the truth of their world and how they could unlock everything with the help of Nacre.
"Up next is to nurture everyone here, build up the necessary infrastructure, and then help the various worlds plunged into an apocalypse." He muttered.
"Why don't I find the perfect world to begin this journey?" Truck-Kun said as he snapped his finger, causing a truck to manifest beside him as he boarded it, vanishing immediately.
A couple of seconds later, he arrived, smiling with a wide grin, "I've found one already."
"Then, all that's left is the way to channel the power of time into such worlds and extend our power system into the inhabitants of such worlds too…" Rhizen muttered, staring at the Fortress nearby as he had an epiphany, gazing at Compass Carburettor as he said, "Why don't we try this…?"
