chapter-615
Even though her mother wished to stop her, but after a moment of thought, she left Tehela to her devices, hoping that an encounter with the Shaman King would change her mind.
As the other party was aware of her appearance, he wouldn't go overboard and kill her. And as it might serve as a good wake-up call for her, her mother didn't interfere. "And, there's also a Goblin's ability to impregnate every other race, something that only unlocks with the arrival of the Shaman King…"
Ignorant about that, Tehela exited the palace and bolted in the direction of the newly formed Goblin Kingdom that had once been Titan territory.
The moment she entered the Goblin Kingdom, Tehela glared in anger, noticing the skull of a Titan used as a bathtub for the Goblins that surprisingly were cleaning their bodies, something they never did before.
She was rooted to the spot in shock, humiliated by the scene, 'Mere Goblins dare use the skull of my brethren as a freaking bathtub?'That wasn't all. There was a captured Titan whose immortality was taken advantage of to be feasted upon nonstop by the Goblins.
The Titan's body naturally absorbed the ambient mana to regenerate at a terrifying speed. Meaning, just capturing a single Titan was enough to feed an entire city worth of Goblins.
And, a totem pole had been stabbed into the forehead of the Titan, turning it dumb as it became nothing more than a vegetable that was feasted upon constantly.
A mystical power emanated from the totem pole, enough to cause Tehela to flinch in response. And considering her stature, all the Goblins in the vicinity had already noticed her approach.
But just as they planned to attack her, the Goblin Lords among the horde recognised her, stopping the others from aiming at her.
They then just scattered, not interfering with her.
"So, you've come to see me on your own, Tehela?" A burst of laughter resounded before a cheer erupted from the Goblins as an individual slowly walked out of the crowd.Spanning a height of five metres, it was a hulking creature, with totem poles embedded in its back as if they were growing there naturally, which indeed was the case. It resembled a Goblin in appearance except for its imposing physique, not to mention its body being covered by tattoos all over.
The chain worn around its neck dangled from time to time, flashing mysterious fingerbones slung by the chain. The only part of its body that was covered was the groin area, and upon staring at Tehela, it suddenly became pointy.
Shaman King!
Gazing lecherously at her, the Shaman King grinned, "Did you come here to mate with me beforehand?"
"Mate with you?" At his words, Tehela was unable to control her rage anymore, roaring as she punched the ground, "Freaking die!"
Boom!
Immediately after, the earth rumbled and began to quake, shattering the various buildings the Goblins had created as quite a lot of them began to fall into the cracks that had formed.
But suddenly, a mysterious power erupted as all the Goblins flew out of the cracks before hovering in the air next to a Titan skull that had been stabbed by a totem pole.
The Shaman King had already made preparations in advance to counter her power as he stabbed another totem pole in the ground, suddenly causing the cracks to mend themselves naturally over time as soon after, the rumbling stopped.
But, Tehela didn't mind about that as her Mana erupted, causing massive thunderclouds to form in the sky as soon after, intense rain fell down, quickly causing the region to be flooded. And that wasn't all, fierce gales akin to wind blades began to blow over, killing the Goblins in large numbers.
Rumble!
A lightning bolt landed on the Shaman King but was surprisingly absorbed into the totem pole on his back that lit up in response before a mystical power hit Tehela, suddenly bringing her to her knees all of a sudden.
"W-What happened?" Tehela was shocked, observing that she wasn't able to use her Mana as usual, feeling that it wasn't obeying her command for some reason.
"Surprised?" The Shaman King grinned as the totem pole he stabbed into the ground whirred in response, unleashing a beam of light into the sky that dissipated the thundercloud.
"Even if I can't use my Calamity, my body is enough to flatten you!" Shouting in response, Tehela punched forth, stupefied when her arm slowed down unnaturally, stopping a metre before the Shaman King.
"Good girl…" The Shaman King grinned in response, throwing a totem pole that pierced through her forehead, preventing her from moving as he said, "There's a reason your Kingdom doesn't dare face me."
"What?" Tehela's eyes widened in shock.
"That's true." The Shaman King nodded before saying, "Even though they have the power to decimate us a hundred times over and over, they dare not, at least until I am alive that is. The reason is simple."
He stared at her, "I've already created enough Totem poles that can naturally restrict the power of the Titans. You had been late in reacting to my birth, allowing me to hunt enough Titans to arm myself to the teeth. Due to this, even your Saints dare not do anything."
"After all, if one of them falls victim to my power, your Kingdom is doomed." He laughed eerily, "Hence, they want to tide through this disaster by forming a political marriage with me."
"After all, despite my strength or the level of power I attain, the lifespan of a Shaman King is fixed at a hundred years. Following my demise, the Goblins would naturally revert to their original selves. And for immortals like Titans, the best way to deal with me is by buying time."
"Which is also a good thing considering the enormous efforts we require to mate with a Titan." Staring at the clear sky, he then spoke, "And now that you've delivered yourself on a silver platter, I'll help myself."
"I don't think any Shaman Kings of the past tried to mate with a Titan. But," He closed his eyes, sensing a mysterious entity within Tehela as his eyes glinted in surprise, "Maybe that is the key."
