I Hate Systems
chapter-713

The Titan Saints stared at Gehera in confusion, alternating gazes between her and Aronaut, only then noticing that Aronaut too was confused.

Stencil jumped to the ground, gracefully landing beside Gehera as she stared at the other party, revealing a bright smile, "So, how do you feel becoming whole?"

"As long as you don't kill or enslave me, I'll be feeling great," Gehera said, her eyes swirling with a multitude of runes as she made eye contact with Stencil.

"Oh, come on, I was just helping you back then." Stencil let out a cheerful smile as she smacked the back of Gehera lightly, "Now, let's head to the Ruin of Amagoth that your father had created."

She stared at the eyes of Gehera, asking casually, "You can do that, right?"

"…" Gehera stared at Stencil; the two ladies didn't break eye contact for a good five seconds as tension spurred in the air before which, Gehera turned around, sighing as she said, "I'll lead you there."

"Great." Stencil smiled happily, watching Gehera lead the way to the place where the Shaman King had unleashed the Ruin of Amagoth on Slayer.

With Aronaut to help them, they teleported to the location. Though, all the Titan Saints stopped there, no longer interested in the journey further.

"We've confirmed what we need already," Gala said, smiling upon seeing the Goblins revert to their original forms as there were no longer Hobgoblins or any other higher lifeforms. The sharp reduction in their intellect alarmed the Goblins who didn't know what to do anymore.

With that, the minor problem faced by the Titan Kingdom of Trotak was solved. Gala stared at Gehera, saying with a professional smile, "I wish you the best of fate for your future endeavours."

That was all. It was apparent from her words that Gala had zero intentions of recognising Gehera as part of the Trotak Kingdom. Though, Gehera too had no reason to be with them.

After all, she wasn't a Titan, something that had become clear to her now. 'I'm still human. And…'

She frowned, thinking in worry, 'Mother is trapped.'

Through the point where her legs were in contact with the ground, a large volume of information poured into her body, allowing her to sense various clues in a trip through history, capable of observing everything that had happened.

Unlike before, her powers had become developed to a terrifying extent. She was still a Cartographer in the truest sense. She neither inherited the power of the Titans nor the Shaman King's.

But, it would be a lie to consider her the same as other Cartographers. She was not, especially since Gehera no longer felt any connection with the Cartographer Profession.

It was as if she had been abandoned by the profession itself, which seemed to be the case now. But strangely, she wasn't snuffed out by the world, 'It seems dad made some preparations indeed.'

This was why she was looking forward to visiting the Ruin of Amagoth he had created by expending his life. After a moment of thought, Gehera looked at Stencil, asking, "Say, will you help me if I help you?"

"Naturally," Stencil said in all seriousness, "My dad only needs a thought to find your mother. The only reason he couldn't save her before was due to the curses of Birdmen Saints trapping her. He didn't have a method to break them."

"Then, please help me." Gehera bowed in response, "I don't have anyone else to ask."

"Hey, I'm not some selfish villain, you know." Stencil was taken aback by her action, waving her hands to say, "I'll definitely help you, alright?"

"That was my dad's intention in the first place." Stencil said, thinking, 'After dad is safe, I mean.'

Aronaut teleported them to the location where Gehera last saw her father. Upon staring at the plain grasslands, her eyes turned moist for a moment before she hardened herself, 'It's only because I'm weak that I became your liability, dad.'

She arrived at the spot where the Shaman King confronted Slayer, extending her hand as immediately, runes manifested out of thin air, hovering before her as they condensed into a kite-shaped portal.

"I see, so it's this, dad," Gehera muttered, inching her hand closer to the portal, observing runes gush out of the portal and condense into a sphere before her.

Gradually, her eyes shone with a mysterious light as Gehera noticed a formless substance flowing into her, originating from Stencil. She was shocked at first, wondering if the other party was about to control her once again, a piece of information she obtained only thanks to her Cartographer abilities.

But a moment later, she derived information regarding it, noticing that the formless substance was luck. And it was this luck that actually improved her power to a level above what her father had intended for her.

The information influx hurt her head, making it seem like it would explode. Gritting her teeth, Gehera held on, realising that though spurred by selfish motives, Stencil had indeed been supporting her all along. 'Such a conflicted person she is.'

Gehera inched her hand, grabbing hold of the runic sphere before the portal as her hands slowly touched the portal.

Boom!

A beam of light slammed into the skies as a mysterious dimension, shaped like a pyramid manifested itself before them, housing hundreds of Magic Beasts, all sealed within. An instant later, under her shocked gaze, all the Magic Beasts turned into Totems that became pillars in the place they stood as the mysterious dimension shrunk in size before entering her body.

"Gahh!" Veins popped all over her body as a variety of energies coursed through her: Mana, Spiritual Energy, Godly Energy, Genetic Energy, Mental Energy, etc.

Each Totem—Magic Beast—represented part of Slayer's power that had been siphoned off from him permanently. And now, they all emitted their respective energy that streamed out of the Ruin of Amagoth and revolved within Gehera's body.

Cartographer!

Gehera was able to extract information from the target, just as all Cartographers did. But the moment she awakened, she noticed that she was able to wield the information that she extracted, but something was still lacking for her to properly wield this power.

And that was where the Ruin of Amagoth arrived, serving as a database which Gehera could store and extract information from. It was basically her storage drive, allowing her to extract information from a target and condense it into a Totem in her Ruin of Amagoth.

When she wished to use it, she could bring out the Totem and unleash the power stored in it. Even though each Totem could only be used once, she could store an endless number in her Ruin of Amagoth, until it was filled to the brim.
