I Hate Systems
chapter-937-30041322

Maybe the humans on Earth could have trained daily to eventually be able to create shields with the same structural makeup as Anthozoa. That would be an overpowered shield, considering how Anthozoa survived a drop test of a ton of steel from a height of one metre without as much as a scratch.

This was more than enough to tank bullets. Conceptualising shields was easy, so with enough training, a human could naturally perfect it to the level of Anthozoa if they were taught that.

Similarly, they could also manufacture all the required parts of a gun and then assemble it. Even for a gun, all individual parts were pretty simple for the human brain to conceptualise.

But, Rass had condensed an entire gun. This surpassed the level of a human.

A glance at the sleeping figure of Rass, and Compass Carburettor inferred the fact that an insane amount of knowledge had been inscribed into him, making the action of the creation of a complex item like a pistol just an instinct.

This was something Systems were experts of.

The last time he visited to rescue Stencil, three other Systems were on Earth, apart from the Money-Making System. Moreover, once Compass Carburettor gained fame as the Main Character, Zaira had obviously sent a bunch of Systems to Earth to find out everything regarding him.

And one such thing they found was Anthozoa's blueprints. It was a product unique to Earth. Considering its sheer ingenuity and Compass Carburettor's exploits with Anthozoa, a couple of Systems with Core Skills related to technology arrived on Earth and took charge.

The result was an organ similar to the stomach but only the size of a clipped fingernail. It had functional memory and allowed the human implanted with it to naturally control the fats and carbohydrates in their body through a variety of ways, as if they were breathing.

Moreover, this had been created to be similar to Mitochondria, the powerhouse of a Cell. Originally, Mitochondria wasn't part of a human cell, but akin to a virus that came from outside.

But the human cells won against its invasion and gradually integrated it into a part of themselves through evolution. And this organ too became integrated into the human body within a single generation, only requiring a year to do so. That was thanks to the Systems.

What does it mean to be integrated into the body? The information regarding it was coded into the genetics of the person.

Meaning, that individual's children would naturally be born with the organ that allowed them to manipulate their fate and carbohydrates to create hydrocarbon objects of their desire.

It led to the birth of a complex variable that took centre stage in the world. Things had changed tremendously on Earth following that.

After all, it had been a century since Anthozoa was created on Carburettor Island. It was enough time for technology to advance tremendously. But, that was on Earth with its focus still on information.

Depending on the knowledge one gained, the item one created using their abilities varied. The greater the knowledge, the more versatile they could become. That was because of Earth's culture, where knowledge was termed absolute power.

But in this Murim world, things would be different. Martial had implanted the same organ in Rass while the Waning Essence System had ingrained in him the instincts regarding the manufacture of hydrocarbon items ranging from weapons to combat suits.

The Murim world's culture revolved around the motto of strength reigning supreme. Meaning, only weapons would be focused upon.

Moreover, Rass could only produce guns and the likes instinctively. He had zero knowledge regarding its functions or mechanisms. So, there was no way he could pass on that knowledge to his children.

What would it mean then?

His children would grow up and begin to develop their abilities to create weapons: Swords, bows and arrows, hidden weapons, poisoned hidden weapons, etc.

The power would be completely attuned to this world. In the end, the Murim world would remain the same. And the power source was pretty much similar to Qi—Internal Energy. So in the end, the world would still be under Martial.

Moreover, there would no longer be any worries about the Murim World transferring genres.

After all, with all the major Sects razed to the ground, pretty much all valuable Martial Arts regarding Qi usage were destroyed. And with Rass's actions, it was only a matter of time before Qi was completely eliminated.

So, there was no longer any worry of there becoming enough Qi to result in a world centred around energy—the essence of a Cultivation World.

As the power system now relied upon carbohydrates and fats, the law of conservation of mass would ensure the world could never become a Cultivation World, for there was no direct energy usage.

Similarly, any development of the world would be centred around the new generation of humans—those similar to Rass. After all, with the ability to create any items of their wish, all technological revolutions would be reliant upon them and derived from their abilities.

Human resources trumped all resources, after all. And since it was convenient, producing items through humans would be economical for them, as that was the Murim way—to be reliant on oneself.

They didn't have a concept of industrialisation like on Earth.

So, with everything centred around the people, the technological revolutions would be based on them at a fundamental level. Meaning, the world would never align towards Technocraft, irrespective of how much it develops.

Therefore, with just a change at the intrinsic level, Martial had solved his fundamental issue. Moreover, he had chosen the perfect candidate to spread around the changes.

'So, that is why the guns and armour disappeared after a while. This is the same property that the bullets manufactured by Anthozoa have.' Compass Carburettor smiled, 'It's not that he cannot create items that cannot vaporise. But, he chose not to make them.'

"After all, he doesn't trust his subordinates." Compass Carburettor snorted, "He knows that anyone with a gun can kill him anytime. Hence, he only creates weapons that vaporise once their purpose is done. With this, he always maintains power and authority over his subordinates."

"I mean, with the feat of having annihilated all the major Martial Arts Sects, it wouldn't be strange if those subordinates haven't developed massive egos already. But, they are useless without his weapons. So, they have no choice but to be subservient to him, with zero chance of gaining power for themselves." He analysed completely, "And things would change with the generation after him, for they cannot create guns like him."

"Rass is the perfect pawn for Martial."
