Su Qianyun was just about to go out when a man riding on a dog came to visit.

“Classmate An Lin, why are you here?”

A hint of excitement flashed through Su Qianyun’s bright blue eyes as she spoke in a soft and mellow voice.

An Lin descended down beside Su Qianyun. “I’m here to repay my debt!”

“Debt?” Su Qianyun blinked with a vacant expression before coming to a sudden realization. “Oh, you’re referring to the money for the second-grade immortal pill?”

“Sister Chang’e didn’t really ask you to pay for the immortal pill, and even if you were to do so, it’s best to wait until you have more money. It would be too troublesome for you to accumulate money for one or two years just to pay off a small amount, there’s no need for that…”

An Lin scratched his head. “But I feel like I’ve accumulated enough.”

A light smile appeared on Su Qianyun’s face as she explained patiently, “It’s not as simple as you think. These immortal pills are not things that can be bought with just a few hundred thousand spirit stones… I’m not trying to scare you, but for an immortal pill like the Ultimate Creation Pill, whose effect comes close to rivaling that of a first-grade immortal pill, it’d cost you at least ten million spirit stones.”

Su Qianyun knew that An Lin had earned a lot of money during these past one or two years, she approximated that he would have roughly a million spirit stones, which was already a huge amount to any normal cultivator. However, this was nowhere near enough to pay for the second-grade immortal pill. If he were to present such a paltry amount to Chang’e, he would undoubtedly be met with scorn and disdain.

She was worried that An Lin would feel too much pressure resting on his shoulders after learning of the price for the immortal pill, so she consoled him in a gentle voice, “Classmate An Lin, you should focus on earning more money, Sister Chang’e seriously wouldn’t take it to heart even if you repay her a little later.”

An Lin stroked his chin. “Hmm… Is 14.8 million spirit stones still not enough?”

“Yes, not even 14.8 million spirit stones will…” Su Qianyun faltered halfway through her sentence.

She raised her head with an expression filled with disbelief. “You have 14.8 million spirit stones!?”

“Yeah, I’ve had some interesting experiences, hehe…” An Lin replied a little sheepishly.

Su Qianyun was completely shocked into silence. What kind of interesting experiences would enable someone to accumulate as many as 14.8 million spirit stones within the short span of fewer than two years? Even though Su Qianyun was a member of the imperial family and had seen countless wealthy people, this was still completely unfathomable to her.

One had to realize, this was a huge amount of money even for a Celestial Immortal of Return to Void Stage cultivation base. For An Lin to be able to accumulate this much in less than two years… this was far too crazy!!

Su Qianyun calmed her emotions down slightly and looked at An Lin. After seeing that he was not joking, she finally nodded her head earnestly. “Alright, I’ll take you to the Moon Palace.”

On a vast expanse of silver land, a sea of osmanthus trees stood in a dense forest.

The aromatic scent of osmanthus flowers drifted far and wide, enchanting those nearby with its lovely fragrance.

If a mortal was to come here and breathe in just one breath of this scent, which was imbued with the pure power of Yin, they would be able to extend their lifespan by ten years.

An Lin followed Su Qianyun on dog back through the forest of osmanthus trees and before long, they arrived at a towering, majestic palace.

A faint white light emanated from the palace, giving it a sense of serenity and holiness.

There was a plaque on the gate, on which was written the words “All males and dogs alike are barred from entry”.

An apologetic expression appeared on Su Qianyun’s porcelain-like face as she turned to Da Bai. “Da Bai, the Moon Palace has its rules, so you’ll have to wait by the gate for a little while.”

An Lin laughed as he leaped down from Da Bai’s back before lightly stroking Da Bai’s head. “What a pity that dogs can’t enter, go play somewhere else.”

Da Bai opened his eyes wide. “Amazing! Men and dogs are barred from entry… but An Lin is allowed to enter, what could this mean… woof?”

An Lin: “…”

He wasn’t expecting Da Bai to retaliate. It looked like he had to teach Da Bai a lesson in private later on.

A light blush appeared on Su Qianyun’s delicate features as she spoke in a mellow voice, “Classmate An Lin, that’s not what I mean, you’re still a man, I… I have to make a special exception to grant you entry!”

An Lin’s lips twitched slightly. Was there really a need to elaborate on the fact that he was a man?

Classmate Su, you’re taking things too seriously!

Su Qianyun then led An Lin into the Moon Palace.

Along the way, An Lin saw many female Young Immortal servants in white robes with their faces obscured behind veils.

They all bowed respectfully to Su Qianyun, so it was clear to see that Su Qianyun was an important figure in the Moon Palace.

When they turned their gazes upon An Lin, their eyes were filled with curiosity. When they saw An Lin’s Adam’s apple, their eyes glowed with excitement.

An Lin was quite familiar with the look in their eyes. After all, he wore the same expression when he went to look at pandas in the zoo.

The two of them strolled onward amid a sea of curious gazes. There were a total of nine levels in the Moon Palace, and Chang’e lived on the top level.

“Don’t we need someone to pass on a message?” An Lin was a little anxious.

Su Qianyun shook her head. “No need, Sister Chang’e has been aware of your arrival from the moment you set foot in the Moon Palace. The fact that she hasn’t impeded your entry is proof that she’s allowing you to meet her.”

An Lin nodded. He was of course quite anxious to meet such a powerful mighty figure.

Chang’e had a series of extremely renowned titles such as best pill refinement master in the Kingdom of the Nine States, wealthiest landlord of the Heavenly Court, most beautiful woman in all of the Heavenly Court, a mighty figure at the pinnacle of Return to Void Stage, and so on and so forth… These titles all worked to pile further pressure on An Lin.

Once they arrived at the eighth level, a nightmarish voice suddenly sounded.

“Huh? Su Qianyun, why did you bring a man in here?

“Oh! If it isn’t Idiot An?”

An Lin’s chest tightened at the title he was given. Idiot An my a*s!

He turned toward the room and was greeted by the sight of a completely nude, translucent white…

Rabbit!

The rabbit was about half as tall as a grown man and leaped down onto the ground in front of An Lin. It surveyed him with its round, ruby-like eyes while holding a jade pestle for crushing medicine in its hand.

“Xiao Yue, how could you say that to Classmate An Lin.” Su Qianyun was a little angry.

Yue Tu humphed coldly in reply. “Su Qianyun, if you don’t believe me, I can run a test of intelligence on Idiot An right now to demonstrate what I mean.”

An Lin’s legs almost gave out from under him as he recalled the time he was knocked unconscious by the rabbit’s jade pestle.

“Stop it, Xiao Yue! Classmate An Lin is here to repay his debt!” Su Qianyun pursed her lips and glared at Yue Tu with glistening blue eyes. Although her expression was supposed to reflect her anger, it was far too cute to carry any kind of threat.

Yue Tu’s eyes lit up in excitement. “You’re here to repay your debt? Does that mean you’re descending into the mortal world again? What a coincidence! I’m just about to run out of snacks. The dried carrots aren’t really that good, so forty kilograms will suffice. I’ll have twenty boxes of the carrot-flavored chips, three tons of carrot-flavored french fries…”

“Hey… That’s not what I meant. He has accumulated a lot of spirit stones and wants to repay Sister Chang’e for the cost of the pill refinement,” Su Qianyun hurriedly elaborated.

“Accumulated a lot of spirit stones, eh?” Yue Tu’s ears drooped down in disappointment. It turned to look at An Lin and slowly raised the jade pestle in its hand. “How many spirit stones are we talking here?”

An Lin’s chest tightened at the sight of Yue Tu’s jade pestle as he answered, “14.8 million.”

Clatter…

Yue Tu’s jade pestle slipped out of its grasp and clattered onto the ground as it stared at An Lin in shock.

“14.8 million spirit stones? Do… do you think I’m an idiot? How’s that possible!?”

An Lin sighed in resignation and brought out a projection of his storage ring for Yue Tu to see.

Yue Tu stared at the mountainous piles of spirit stone and vital stones as its body trembled uncontrollably. “Did you rob a bank? No… a bank wouldn’t have so much money, you must’ve looted an imperial family! That’s not right either, you don’t have the strength to do that… This is completely inexplicable, idiots really do have idiotic luck…”

Rage flared up in An Lin’s heart at being repeatedly referred to as an idiot and he waved his hand in anger. “Hmph! How can pitiful beings like you comprehend the might of someone like me!?”

“Ha! How dare you act so cocky in front of me!”

Yue Tu yelped before swinging its jade pestle down through the air.

Bam!

The jade pestle had a stunning ability which almost knocked An Lin out cold as he copped a blow to the head.
