Aendydn seemed perplexed by Yelena’s caprice but showed no signs of objection.

“Well… if that’s what you want.”

Yelena’s gaze briefly became peculiar as she observed Aendydn.

“So that’s how marriages would have worked out in the future.”

“Huh?”

“My childhood friend turned out to be a jerk…”

“What did you say?”

“It’s nothing.”

“Hey, Yelena. You aren’t misunderstanding something, are you? I wouldn’t introduce Dennen to you with that intention unless I was insane…”

“I know. It’s not that.”

It was a fact only she knew, something she couldn’t explain.

Yelena lifted the teacup that the maid had newly served.

Early night, just after dinner.

In their bedroom, Yelena intently watched Kaywhin.

After he had kissed her and was about to peel off her thin slip, he paused.

“Why… are you looking at me like that?”

“No reason. Don’t stop. Continue.”

Yelena wrapped her arms around Kaywhin’s neck, pulling him closer.

Kaywhin kissed her again.

His large, sturdy hands delicately slid the straps of her slip off her shoulders.

“Uh…”

With her upper body exposed, Yelena let out a slight whimper from her lips.

Soon after, Kaywhin slowly laid her down on the bed.

There was an unmistakable tension in his gentle touch and downcast gaze.

Even though they had already been intimate several times just three days ago, his demeanor was as if it was their first time.

Yelena looked up at Kaywhin as she lay on the bed.

His bright blue eyes seemed to be memorizing every inch of Yelena’s body.

Merely from his gaze, a slight warmth arose in her body.

Yelena reached out to caress her husband’s cheek.

Moving her hand from his tensing jaw, she suddenly narrowed her eyes in realization.

She felt an absurdity thinking about her future self.

“Am I crazy?”

To have such a husband and yet marry another man and have two children with him?

No matter how she thought about it, it didn’t make sense.

Although that future no longer existed, the thought was still ridiculous and astonishing.

With a mix of frustration and a hint of anger at her vanished future self, Yelena suddenly grabbed Kaywhin’s face and pulled him closer.

Their lips met and their tongues intertwined gently.

After passionately exploring each other’s mouths, Ilena finally pulled away with a somewhat satisfied look.

“Kaywhin.”

“…Yes, Yelena?”

Perhaps due to the dim lighting of the bedroom, the color in her husband’s eyes seemed deeper. Yelena looked deep into those eyes and said,

“I’m talking about our child.”

As Kaywhin was about to kiss Yelena’s neck, he paused at her words, locking eyes with her.

“Do you prefer a daughter or a son?”

He paused as if he hadn’t anticipated the question.

“…It’s a tough choice.”

The furrow in his brow indicated his sincerity.

Yelena, tracing that furrow with her finger, asked again,

“Or both?”

Kaywhin’s eyes widened slightly.

“Both…”

“What do you think? Having two might be less lonely than one. They’d have each other.”

Kaywhin caught the hand that was tracing his brow and kissed her.

“I’m fine with it, but my wife…”

“Are you worried about my health? I’m okay. I’m strong.”

Didn’t she give birth to two children in the future she saw with the power of the old witch?

‘Two… sounds good.’

The statement was inadvertently made, perhaps out of a feeling of not wanting to be outdone by her future self(?), but after saying it, it felt right.

A child resembling her husband and another resembling her.

The thought of the four of them together filled a part of her heart with joy.

‘Hold on, does this mean there will be two heroes?’

Or maybe only one of them is destined to be the hero.

Yelena pondered this for a moment but quickly shifted her thoughts.

The Demon King was already dead.

There was no need to rush or worry about the birth of a hero like before.

What mattered more was that they were children of her and her husband.

Looking at her husband’s face, Yelena playfully licked her lips.

“To have two children…”

“…”

“We’ll have to work really hard, won’t we?”

For a brief moment, a flame seemed to flicker and disappear within his blue eyes.

Instead of responding, Kaywhin bowed his head.

“Oh, Kaywhin…!”

Then, Yelena felt strong sensations throughout her body and let out a breath.

A warm sensation rose from her lower abdomen, making it hard for her to stay still.

Even though they had been intimate numerous times just a few days ago in the bedroom, the sensation was still new and overwhelming.

As Yelena writhed, Kaywhin held her waist tightly, ensuring she couldn’t move, and then lowered his head between her legs.
