Kill The Hero – Chapter 86
Editor: Ana_Banana
The Messiah Guild’s letter.
A letter had come from the Messiah Guild.
“It looks like an ordinary letter…is this the famous Messiah Guild’s letter?”However the power of that letter was anything but ordinary.
“Right, with this simple letter the products and facilities of any company that cooperates with the Messiah guild is free and you can enter 155 countries without needing a visa or passport. You could enter a wide range of forbidden locations. You could even enter the Red cage of the Central Park Zoo.”
The Messiah Guild’s letter was more powerful than a diplomatic passport issued by certain powers.
“Well, that’s how those who work with the Messiah Guild to save the world are treated.”
It was the content of that letter that made it possible.
The Messiah Guild’s letter was only sent when they requested the help for someone outside of the guild to clear a dungeon.
In other words, it was a clear show of the Messiah Guild bowing and asking for cooperation. That was why the holders of the letter had such good treatment.“But wouldn’t someone forge one of them then?”
“Even though it looks simple, it has its own ways to prevent forgery or alteration. It has copy protection…hey, don’t waste paper trying to copy it.”
Of course, the Messiah Guild were not stupid so it was impossible to use their letters to do bad things.
“Don’t you dare waste paper. Either way, the Messiah Guild wouldn’t just let fake letters go around and be used for bad things would they?”
The ones who would most like react to fake letters would be the Messiah Guild itself.
Lee Jin-ah nodded at that, swinging the letter in his hand slightly.
“Well, it doesn’t seem that hard to fool the Messiah Guild anyway.”
As he heard Lee Jin-ah’s words, Oh Se-chan gave him an odd look.
“Do you think the Messiah Guild is stupid? It’s because of Kim Woo-jin that they sent it.”
Unsurprisingly, the recipient of the letter was none other than Kim Woo-jin or more specifically, Isaac Ivanov.
“He and I are a team.”
“Didn’t you say you’d go on a hunger strike if I didn’t disband the team?”
“Ah, that was a joke. How could I fight on my own? I’d rather take a swim in lava.”
Lee Jin-ah waved his hand and looked at the contents of the letter again.
“So what will you do? Are you gonna accept the request for cooperation or not?”
In response to the question, Oh Se-chan responded calmly.
“The choice is Kim Woo-jin’s. I have no choice but to reluctantly let him make the decision on his own.”
“Are you scared?”
“Because I don’t trust him fully, he won’t trust me fully. Anyway from the standpoint of defeating Suzuki Eiji. Kim Woo-jin can no longer live under the same sky as the Messiah Guild. And I know all of his secrets. In this situation, do you think he dares to enter the Messiah Guild? What would you do if you were in that position?”
“I wouldn’t join unless I could get a big reward for it.”
Oh Se-chan laughed at Lee Jin-ah’s answer.
“What? Am I wrong?”
“No, I think the same.”
Saying this, Oh Se-chan couldn’t help but think.
‘I wonder if Kim Woo-jin has the same thought.’
He sent the bonus toward Kim Woo-jin along with the letter.
…
[We need help completing the following dungeon(s) and are requesting Isaac Ivanov to assist us.]
[Firefox Hunt]
Floors: 2
Difficulty: A+
Maximum number of Entries: 100
Requirements: Level 50 and below
Conditions: Hunt the Firefox
Reward: Catalogue reward and achievement ‘Firefox Hunter’
The moment he checked the contents of the letter, Kim Woo-jin placed it back on the table in front of him.
‘It’s finally here.’
The Firefox Dungeon.
It was a place that Kim Woo-jin knew very well.
It would be strange if he hadn’t known the dungeon that made the Messiah Guild write cooperation letters a total of four times.
Of course, what truly mattered to Kim Woo-jin now, above all else, was that the Messiah Guild had sent a letter to him this time. It was not something that the Messiah Guild would send to just anyone.
It was a sign of faith that was only sent to those who the Messiah Guild needed and trusted to attack the dungeon.
‘Thanks to Oh Se-chan.’
The Isaac Ivanov identity provided by Oh Se-chan was so airtight that not even the Messiah Guild could find something to suspect.
‘Thanks to him I can move more freely.’
It could be seen by the fact that Kim Woo-jin could move as fast as he wanted.
Kim Woo-jin became somber.
‘The problem is the Firefox.’
The most important thing needed to act to your heart’s content, more than anything else, was a stage.
‘It won’t be easy.’
No matter how you looked at it, the Firefox Dungeon was a dangerous place to go to.
As mentioned earlier, the Messiah Guild had sent out letters to hunt the fox four times.
It’s completely different from the Horned Fox Dungeon.
In the case of the Horned Fox Dungeon, the Messiah Guild had only worked hard to monopolize the fox’s horns. If they had written letters for the Horned Fox Dungeon, then there would not have been as many casualties.
That was the power of the Messiah Guild’s letter.
The fact that the Messiah Guild were willing to put aside their pride and request for help to clear this dungeon proved the difficulty of the dungeon.
‘Because no Nine Tailed Fox(Kumiho) was weak.’
Even Kim Woo-jin knew how terrifying the Firefoxes were. So he pondered over and over.
‘If I can’t handle it then I have no choice but to refuse.’
Kim Woo-jin had been willing to give up the opportunity without hesitation because he was unsure.
‘I didn’t think I’d have to worry about the Firefox…’
No, in fact, when he’d seen the contents of the letter, Kim Woo-jin had the thought of giving up the right to hunt the fox.
Now he thought it was funny that he’d had such thoughts.
[Power of the Pharaoh]
Requirements: Emissary of the Underworld
Level: 1 or higher
Effect: Any dead body can be sacrificed
‘You really make me worry.’
However the bonus sent by Oh Se-chan made Kim Woo-jin agonize.
‘With the Power of the Pharaoh, even the bodies of those I didn’t kill can be sacrificed.’
The Power of the Pharaoh.
The effect was simple, the skill allowed him to use bodies to summon skeletons, use blood weapons or make corpse explosions without having to kill them himself.
The utility of such a skill was not something that could easily be calculated.
‘But it still wouldn’t be easy.’
Nevertheless, Kim Woo-jin didn’t have complete confidence in hunting the Firefox even with that skill.
At least, that alone wasn’t enough for him to hunt the Firefox.
‘I can’t do it alone.’
Eventually, Kim Woo-jin took out the cellphone he’d received from Oh Se-chan instead of pondering it more.
Then he made a call.
-Uh, so did you decide?
“I only want to ask one question.”
When Oh Se-chan heard what Kim Woo-jin said, he waited for the question.
“To what extent can Lee Jin-ah die?”
-What does that mean?
“How many limbs can be cut off before it’s dangerous or how many degrees of burns can his body take before it’s dangerous?”
-Ah! Wait a minute. He’s right next to me, I’ll ask him. Hey, Jin-ah! Can you withstand a few burns…hey! Where are you going? (
There was commotion on the other end for a while before Oh Se-chan answered.
-Just kill him in the dungeon.
That was the end of Kim Woo-jin’s concerns. He gave his response to Oh Se-chan immediately.
“Tell the Messiah Guild I accept the offer.”
