No More Time to Fight (1)

Jiang Xiaoman and Yu Qingshi accompanied Sun Xiaojie and his gang in doing their homework for the whole afternoon.

The topic was the exercise the math teacher gave, with the content being first grade junior highschool lessons. Initially, Jiang Xiaoman thought Sun Xiaojie and the others would do it quickly and easily, but it turned out that the bunch of second grade students instead asked her how to do it.

Their faces looked innocent and confused.

They couldn’t even do the most basic questions.

Jiang Xiaoman couldn’t stand it anymore. She went to the game hall and ordered two billiard tables and had the dozen of them sit in a row while she explained it to them.

Sun Xiaojie…what else could Sun Xiaojie and the others do?

They could only play along!

If they didn’t, they might get beaten up, but more importantly they would still lose face! What was more, everyone else was doing it, so they didn’t have any excuse not to.

The atmosphere was very conducive.

The group of bastards who never did well also didn’t really have cotton for their brains. After a few back-and-forth explanations under Jiang Xiaoman’s tyranny, they could at least memorize it mechanically.

After stumbling up and down and checking their results one by one, Jiang Xiaoman nodded with satisfaction. “Good, not bad. You can still be taught.”

Sun Xiaojie almost had tears in his eyes, and he felt very grateful.

He had never been praised like this before.

At most, he would just be scolded by the teacher. You pork skewers1, even barbecued pork would be more useful than you, you blockhead!

Sun Xiaojie heard these insults so many times and also thought of himself as a useless kid.

It turned out that not being useless felt so good, and the world seemed brighter.

Sun Xiaojie silently straightened his waist, and then asked Jiang Xiaoman, “Sister, can we leave now that we are done with homework?”

Jiang Xiaoman groaned for a bit and did not answer immediately, but came to Yu Qingshi who was silently sitting there and looked at him.

When Sun Xiaojie was doing his homework just now, he was also doing his homework.

Not only did he finish his math exercises, he also wrote down English vocabulary lessons and even translated some classical Chinese.

Yu Qingshi silently raised his own paper to give her.

Jiang Xiaoman’s eyes sparkled. “Amazing!”

Yu Qingshi also quietly straightened his waist.

“I’ve seen it. Everyone did a good job, but compared to Yu Qingshi, you’re still far behind. In this case, it’s better to repeat it once more.”

“!!!”

Ahhhhhhh!!

Sun Xiaojie’s pupils quaked, and his heart was wailing.

Sun Xiaojie’s little brothers’ eyes also quaked, and their hearts wailed.

The group of people stayed like this for the whole afternoon. A group of school bullies gathering in the game hall writing homework for the whole afternoon!

Who would believe such a thing!?

But it really happened!

Jiang Xiaoman’s face was beaming because she collected a lot of negative emotion points. She was very happy and didn’t feel like it was a waste of time at all.

When she went to the boss to check out, the boss wouldn’t accept her money. He said that it was a good thing for children to love studying, and it was better for the pool tables to be used to do homework than for playing billiards.

There were not many children who were very diligent in studying, so to reward them he wouldn’t charge them money.

Jiang Xiaoman got to keep her money. She thought that today was Sun Xiaojie’s birthday, so she generously said, “Since Uncle isn’t charging us, then I will take you all to eat BBQ!”

“Great!”

“Good! Big sister is amazing!”

“Good, good!”

So, the group of people set off happily.

Yu Qingshi raised his eyes and glanced at Jiang Xiaoman. He hesitated for a moment and said nothing, but silently picked up his school bag and left with her.

The two walked behind Sun Xiaojie, and Yu Qingshi whispered, “Xiaoman, it’s getting dark.”

“I know, I won’t eat with them.” Jiang Xiaoman said, “Let’s go home.”

“En!”

Only then did Yu Qingshi smile.

When they arrived at the barbecue stall, Jiang Xiaoman helped Sun Xiaojie and his group order a lot of meat and a large bowl of rice. Sun Xiaojie originally wanted to order beer as well, but Jiang Xiaoman glared back at him, “What beer? Minors are not allowed to drink beer!”

There was no other way, so Sun Xiaojie could only sadly stop thinking about it.

Oh well, no drinks meant no drinks. Eating meat was fine too.

They were hungry the entire day, and their brains had never been under so much exertion. At this moment, they were so hungry it felt like their belly buttons were already touching their spines, and they couldn’t care too much about the lack of beer.

After they finished everything, Jiang Xiaoman suddenly seemed to think of something, and ran over to whisper to the boss.

Not long after, she came with a candle and set it standing in front of Sun Xiaojie, lighting it up for him.

“Originally, we should have a cake for your birthday, but I didn’t have one prepared. But I saw that you’re also not someone who fusses about the little details, so just consider this as celebrating your birthday.”

Sun Xiaojie stared at the shining candle light.

His little brothers also started to sing happy birthday.

After singing, they urged him to blow the candles.

Sun Xiaojie…Sun Xiaojie was very moved.

The school bullies of 6th Junior Highschool spent this ordinary day without causing any trouble.

However, they didn’t know that their suffering had just begun.

Because just now, Jiang Xiaoman made a decision in her heart.

In the future, she would come to teach Sun Xiaojie and his gang their homework when she was free. Jiang Xiaoman thought about it and felt that the advantages outweighed the disadvantages. Even if it was a bit troublesome, it was nothing.

First, if Sun Xiaojie and the others repented, they wouldn’t have time to bully their schoolmates. Second, Sun Xiaojie and his gang’s hearts were too fragile; even Zhang Xinhua and Ye Jiajia now had the self-awareness to do their homework. Even if she asked them to do their homework, she wouldn’t obtain negative emotion points from them. Third, Sun Xiaojie and the others were numerous but fragile. She just had to scare them a little, and she would keep getting a lot of negative emotion points.

Looking at it on a small scale, this was an important source of points. On a larger scale, this could be considered her doing a good deed for the country and the people.

Since then, 6th Junior Highschool had an additional group of good students who were busy studying, and had one less group of troublesome school bullies.

It really couldn’t be better.

Jiang Xiaoman was very happy and decided to eat more bowls of rice when she went home.

Footnote:

1. Not the whole dish, but just the actual skewers. So worse than a BBQ pork, at least you could eat the latter.
