"Are you Lucifer?" The man asked with a strange expression on his face.

Noah did not expect this. If it was at another time, he might even have thought that the man had recognized his Blessing and thought that he was talking about Lucifer, son of the Catholic God, but as it so happened, Noah imagined it was because of Valorwatch. But he wasn't even used to being recognized within the game with his appearance; being recognized in the real world was even more strange.

A little lost without knowing what to do, Noah just nodded his head positively and the man, who before looked so serious and threatening, now got a little excited. This was not noticeable to ordinary people, but for Noah, who could read his body language, it was not difficult at all to see, which surprised Noah even more.

But the man after that answer just said one more thing. "I hope we can talk after the match. Please give your all; I don't want the match to be boring."

Noah again nodded positively, already knowing that in this match, he would have to dedicate himself a lot to be able to win, since the aura that this man exuded was much more intense than that of the other Blessed that Noah had faced. The [Hell Flames] skill was screaming at him to absorb this man soon. It was as if the skill was a hungry lion that had just found a juicy and large piece of meat, and was now trying to break free from its chain that prevented it from going to eat that meat.

'Why does this man seem so appetizing for my ability? Does this have anything to do with his Blessing? It is quite common for Lucifer to be represented as darkness, while God and angels are represented as Light, but different from what I felt when I met Lilly, I don't feel anything unique from him. I doubt if he had any power from God I wouldn't have felt it until that moment... I think it's from something else... Maybe he is a serial killer with tons of sins? If that is true, I will probably receive a lot of statistics from him... Anyway, I will have to find out later,' Noah thought.

He was still a little upset that Merc was a good man and had just given up on the battle, as he was unable to absorb the large amount of agility stat points he had. Noah had discovered that he could absorb statistical points from the Blessed, but after he discovered this he could not absorb any Blessed sinners.

When the judge declared the start of the game, Noah was already on high alert.

--- Noah Pov ---

Damn... He knows a lot about my Blessing, much more than I imagined. Who knew he would know me from Valorwatch? Where have I ever met him? It doesn't make sense... Now I can't even attack him immediately with the teleporter to catch him by surprise, since he is probably already anticipating this and has a counterattack to use on me to prevent me from killing him so easily.

So, to begin with, I invoked a flame dagger and went into a combat stance. This skill is very useful and suitable for me. I was already good with dagger handling, but my Rank E Fortress dagger was already starting to become outdated. Now that I can develop a dagger myself and make it as powerful as I want, it is great news. I will no longer need to rely on weapons all the time to cause damage, since I will make my own weapon.

But looking at the man, he apparently had no intention of approaching me. Just as I imagined, when I looked at him, he immediately made me go blind with his skill, making a strong light appear in my vision, making everything that I saw with my eyes just become blurred and difficult to see.

But luckily I had my Pyakugan, so even though I couldn't see anything with my eyes, my spatial perception practically gave me a 3D projection of my surroundings, which allowed me to see him approaching me, running, getting ready to punch me.

But unlike what he expected, when his hand was about to hit me, I used my flame dagger to open a big cut on his arm, which made my flames start to consume his body, and unlike everyone else (the other fighters that I faced), just consuming a little bit of this man's energy was already satisfying me enough, making the surplus probably turn into statistical energy points.

This didn't happen with monsters. Even if I burned 40 monsters, nothing would be turned into statistics, apparently because even though the monsters had traces of divinity within them, they were not as dense as those of humans who were Blessed, or even dwarves.

Now with a big cut being run through by the fire, the man stepped back quickly and looked at me in surprise. He probably didn't imagine that I could see even after being blinded by his skill and having closed my eyes, much less imagine that I would be so accurate in preventing him from attacking me and unleashing a counterattack on the perfect spot that his attack left open.

And this time it was me who took the initiative. I took advantage of him being stunned and teleported around him three times in quick succession to confuse his senses and prevent him from directing a counterattack against me himself, which clearly worked, since after every time I teleported he would shoot golden laser rays through his eyes in the direction I was in, and damn... how difficult it was to spot those laser rays. It sfelt as if I was trying to find a thin trail of clear water passing through a place full of details; it was just very difficult to perceive.

Damn, I didn't think he had an ability like that. If I were to attack him head-on even once, I would be screwed. Fortunately, he probably underestimated me a little and didn't try to use this ability as soon as he blinded me, which could have been bad for me because of the difficulty of seeing that laser ray.

For the third teleport I did, this time it was above him, which with my powerful spatial sense, I just redirected very easily and tried to stick my dagger in his head. Even though he recognized me, it wasn't like I was going to give him more chances in the match; the only information I had on him so far was what [Hell Flames] had 'told' me, that due to the large amount of energy that I had received, either that man was a monster, or he was a pit of sin, probably equaling the great murderers who killed hundreds, if not thousands of innocent people. If it's another case, I have absolutely no idea what it is, and I'm also not willing to take any chances to find out.

But just as I imagined, this man had an ability to prevent me from killing him as well... I was not the only one with many skills, but surely mine are more powerful and versatile, of that I am sure.

A thin golden barrier appeared around his head, which managed to neutralize my dagger immediately, preventing me from cutting his head at that moment. But the barrier was also much more transparent than it was originally. In addition to the breathing of the man becoming more breathless than I imagined, this ability probably consumed more of his energy than it should have originally.

Now I probably had the energy advantage for the battle, and I could calmly start to slow down, and just like Bobby, I would be able to start defining my terrain and preparing for slaughter.

The flame on his arm was still burning and providing me with a lot of energy, but unlike what normally happened, the flame was actually decreasing. The flame had only ever gone down if I didn't have any more energy or if the body that it was consuming didn't have enough energy, but clearly that was not the case here.

This man was much stranger and more mysterious than I imagined, and by the excited screams I was hearing around us, I wasn't the only one who thought that of him. Apparently to the viewers, he had become as mysterious and powerful as I was.

Which in my view was not wrong...
