Lucifer's Descendant System

chapter-177
Fortunately for Noah, the Ace's attention from the enemy team being on him was a good thing, as it opened up a possibility for James to take advantage of the chaos that Noah had caused by throwing several bombs at the enemies.
"Shit, hide!" the enemy team's healer screamed as he jumped away to dodge those bombs, which made the rest of the team do the same on instinct as well.
Unfortunately, as the healer had to jump away to save his life, the player with the cut on his neck had no opportunity to be healed and transformed into particles of energy as soon as he fell to the ground.
'This is the chaos I wanted,' Noah thought as a smile spread across his face.
**Bamf**An explosion of flames happened again, and this time Noah appeared between the archer and the ice wizard who had attacked Noah's team after Carlos and Kevin's death. Fortunately James and Mateo managed to dodge these attacks, which made it possible for James to counterattack to cause all this chaos for Noah.
With a metal dagger pointed at the archer's throat, Noah stabbed the player, while his other hand momentarily blinked red and for a fraction of a second a claw of fire, no more than 1 cm long, appeared there. But despite its size, the destructibility of the [Fire Claws] that Noah used was enough to incinerate the ice wizard's body, starting at the back of his neck, which in turn caused him to lose the concentration he needed to cast spells because of the pain he was feeling, despite leaving sensitivity to pain low.
Once again, Noah didn't even look around and disappeared before the bodies of the Blessed became particles.
Fortunately, this time the Ace was away, which left Noah with more time to attack and leave safely.
"Aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrggggghhhhhhh!" The ice mage was screaming in pain as he felt the back of his neck on fire. He felt the fire spreading through the rest of his body, until after a few seconds it transformed into particles of energy, just like the archer who was standing beside him.
This course of the battle was surprising to almost everyone. Both the narrator, the viewers, the analysts, even Noah's opponents, nobody expected the battle to be like this.
They didn't imagine that the From Hell ambush would fail, they didn't imagine Lucifer would be able to kill a Blessed One among five prepared players, they didn't imagine that James would cause explosions that would leave openings for Lucifer, and lastly, they didn't imagine that in a split second Lucifer would turn the tide to become a 3x2 fight for Team From Hell.[Woooaaaah! That's what the public likes! When we thought the game was already decided, the teams started a bloody battle to try to convince us otherwise, and my friends, how I love to be wrong in a situation like this! Even Lucifer showed unprecedented skill. Because of how fast it was, we couldn't understand what had happened to cause his hand to shine like that for such a short time, but after seeing the cut on that magician's neck and seeing that burning part, I'm sure it is a dangerous skill! Yesterday I saw some posts on social media saying that Team From Hell apparently benefits a lot the more chaotic the battle is. What do you think about it, my dear analysts?] the narrator energetically asked the men who today had conflicting expressions on their faces.
[Initially I believed that Team From Hell would have more chances, but due to the reaction time that the player DarkSword was showing during the confrontations, I would lean to say that this could be Lucifer's first defeat in the championship.] One of the analysts said what he truly thought.
[I will have to agree with my dear friend Tixinha here beside me. As much as Team From Hell has shown great teamwork, their dependence on Lucifer has been quite noticeable. BomberMan (James) also plays a key role in setting Lucifer's ideal fighting pace with the bombs he throws to make the opposing team chaotic, but now that there is only DarkSword and GloryLight left for the Dark Laugh Team, I believe that regardless of BomberMan's bombs, Lucifer will be unable to do anything to eliminate either of them. All of Lucifer's basic stats are apparently inferior to DarkSword, counting on the buffs he received from GloryLight in addition to the constant healing they will have for any possible injuries. Such a battle tends to favor the Dark Laugh Team.] The second analyst also said his thoughts, regardless of public opinion. As unpopular as that was, he knew he was right, and that if the Dark Laugh team won, it would receive a lot of credibility for predicting this outcome, which for him was pure science.
"Damn, that analyst Toboco doesn't know what he's talking about!" a fan shouted.
"Yes! Every day he comes up with a different excuse to say that Team From Hell is going to lose. It seems like he doesn't want to see Lucifer's success..." Another fan got angry.
"He just stated facts, even though you're too blind and cannot see it," said one of the few fans with a Dark Laugh shirt.
"You're going to eat shit! Lucifer managed to kill 3 Dark Laugh players; I doubt he can't kill the other two rubbish teammates!" The first fan shouted at the man in the Dark Laugh shirt.
This made the Dark Laugh fan very angry. "Rubbish is all you are and all the idiots who root for this Lucifer are; he's just a fearful weakling who doesn't have the courage to fight someone head-on and hides while teleporting."
"Hahahaha, that's strategy, idiot! Are you going to tell me that a killer is afraid because he stays in the shadows waiting for the right moment? You must be a Blessed Rank F weakling!" The second fan laughed at the man with the shirt.
After that, the man was visibly angry, but controlled himself not to start a fight. He really was a Blessed Rank F, and he knew that if these fans were Rank E he would be dead if he fought them, even worse if they were Rank D...
Back in the game, Noah realized that regardless of the amount of bombs James dropped, the warrior and the healer would always be side by side. And as much as Noah changed the place he was hiding, it was as if that warrior could see through the walls and in dark places to know the exact position Noah was at.
"Damn it, I will have to act even if it is dangerous," Noah said to himself before teleporting.
*Bamf*
With a burst of flame, Noah appeared behind the Healer, and without even trying to use the dagger, when his hand was about to reach the scared healer, flames appeared on his fingertips, forming claws, which when they hit the shield that protected this healer, they started to corrode through it.
Seeing the eerily familiar sword approaching himself so fast, Noah didn't even think twice before teleporting to a random place a few feet away to avoid being hit by the blade.
Noah didn't want to demonstrate the [Fire Claws] he had learned from his imp, but unfortunately he knew that the metal dagger would do almost no damage to the healer's protective barrier, unlike the [Hell Flames] corrosion he had from using [Fire Claws].
Fortunately, the strategy Noah had planned started to work as the healer's desperate look made it evident that he was unable to stop that flame from running through his barrier, and it would only be a matter of time before the fire hit his skin and took the only extra life that healer had.
As the players of Noah's team had died before the players of Team Dark Laugh, the Ace and the healer ran as fast as they could towards James as well as Mateo, who was holding a sword to protect James from the opponent's attack. The opponents' strategy was to eliminate the two players from Noah's team so that when their team returned, they would have a numerical advantage and could turn this battle around again.
But Noah, of course, had no intention of letting this happen so easily.
To speed up the process, he teleported behind the healer with one hand reaching out towards the healer's neck, starting to glow red as he activated his [Fire Claws]. Noah didn't want to show that he could keep this ability active for a long time, just leaving it for a few seconds at most to demonstrate that it might cost a lot of energy to keep active.
But to Noah's surprise, as soon as the teleportation flames disappeared, the warrior turned to him with his sword pointed precisely at Noah's outstretched arm. Unfortunately Noah did not have time to react without being touched by the blade and when he teleported to escape, the blade had already penetrated almost 3 cm into his skin, almost being able to see the bone from that cut.
'They left this opening on purpose as a trap...' Noah thought, as he looked at the cut on his arm, with no intention of curing it using [Healing Flames]. Since this cut wouldn't kill him, he just let it stay that way, but in Noah's eyes it was possible to see something different: he was pissed.
