"You fly too, boy?! The gods are unfair..." One of the Blessed warriors complained as he saw Noah landing in front of them and hiding his wings.

'If you only knew what else I can do...' Noah thought as he held back a laugh.

"So, boy, did you see anything different?" the captain asked, remembering why Noah left alone apart from the group.

While Noah was not with them, the warriors failed to hold the monsters' attention and a small rabbit ran frantically towards the magicians. Fortunately the captain intervened and killed that rabbit - if not that little monster could have killed one or two people before he died.

If, before Noah left, the captain already appreciated the importance Noah had on the team, after Noah left, that feeling intensified even more, and when he saw Noah come flying back, it reached a level that he did not even think he would reach.

'This kid should definitely go to the main team. Even though he is still a rookie Blessed Rank C, with how many Blessings he has, I believe he will be able to be useful in a Rank B Fortress... I will speak with my superiors later,' the captain thought as he watched Noah approach.

"I saw 4 small groups of monsters going in that... and that direction, while in that other direction there was only a single group, but in that group there were 7 or 8 monsters. What should we do?" Noah explained what he saw on the way back.

Hearing this, the captain had to consider. On the one hand they would have to face small groups of 2 to 4 monsters little by little, or deal with 7 to 8 monsters in the other direction at once.

As the team's warriors were idiots, the captain knew that running against the big group would be suicide, but still, he wanted to test Noah.

"What do you think would be ideal for us to do?"

Hearing the question turned back at him, Noah thought quickly and determined that dealing with the 8 monsters would be faster. "Personally, I would deal with the group of 8 monsters. It would be faster for us to find the Boss with more energy left, which would make the fight easier."

The captain was slightly disappointed to hear this opinion from Noah. 'Unfortunately, as powerful as he is, he is still a young man, and young people tend to be impulsive ... perhaps with time he will mature.'

"I understand your point of view. But how would we deal with all 8 monsters at once? Our team had a hard time dealing with 4 monsters while you left, let alone dealing with 8 monsters at once," The captain stated.

"Well... I didn't think it would be so problematic for the team to deal with 4 monsters... I imagined that I could deal with 4 monsters while the other Blessed dealt with the other 4, but since that is not possible, I believe that dealing with small groups is better," Noah said in an apparently disappointed tone.

Hearing Noah say that made the eyes of the other Blessed widen. They had almost died while fighting 13 against 4 monsters, and was this kid saying he could handle 4 monsters on his own? Did this mean that he believed he was better than all of the 13 other Blessed together?

This outraged the other Blessed, even more the warriors who were still angry with Noah, and even more after seeing how useless they were without Noah there to help.

"Hey boy, as much as you are powerful, you don't have to lie to try to look better than you really are. It's only because you have such a powerful Blessing that you are better than everyone here together," one of the warriors said with dissatisfaction to Noah.

Hearing this, Noah turned to the man curiously and simply answered, "But I didn't lie at all, I just stated a fact. I can kill 4 monsters on my own in a short period of time. If there were more I might need more time, but it's not impossible," Noah replied as if he were saying that blue is not green, which was just an obvious fact, and that tone of Noah's further infuriated the warriors, but on the other hand, it scared the captain even more.

"Where does all this confidence come from, boy?" The captain asked in a serious tone.

Noah just turned to him and threw two small orange spheres at the captain.

For a normal person, these spheres could have been mistaken as a child's toys from the casual way Noah treated them. But when the team and the captain realized what they really were, everyone was shocked.

It was a fact that only a small percentage of the monsters in a Fortress dropped essences, that is, Noah must have killed at least 10 monsters to get these two essences that he threw to the captain.

"Did he... Did he kill 10 monsters alone?" One warrior asked incredulously.

"Nobody left here to help him... so he could only have done it on his own," an archer also said in disbelief.

In addition to all this, the captain was shocked by something else. Since Noah had gone out alone, obviously no one has seen that he had collected those two essences. He could have simply kept those essences to himself, which would have amounted to more than 500 points of contribution. As no one would have known, no one could have judged him.

But even with these two essences in hand, Noah was still honest enough to give them to him and share with the group. This was rare among the Blessed who had reached a certain level of power. Usually people became very greedy for their own benefit. After all, if they were not like that, they could have hardly reached the top.

But not only was Noah not greedy, but he treated his own accomplishments as extremely casual.

'This kid definitely has to be on the main team,' the captain stated internally.

If they knew that Noah had absorbed from the monsters the equivalent of 40 essences and that these balls, in fact, were just something that he considered as snacks for his imps, everyone would have fallen hard on the ground, even the captain.

After all, even for him it had taken 2 years to get a total of 40 essences together, despite being part of the inner circle from the beginning in the family.

Now Noah, who had just joined the family, in his first Fortress had managed to gather more than he had received in 2 years… Who would not be shocked?

"*Cough*..." The captain had to cough slightly to get the rest of the group's attention back to himself. "With how confident you are in dealing with so many monsters, how about we go after a small group of monsters, and if you can handle that group alone, we will follow your suggestion?" he asked.

Hearing that, Noah thought what the captain decided made sense. Even though the group had had difficulty dealing with 4 monsters, he could still probably handle 5 monsters on his own. In the worst case, the captain would intervene and all chaos would be avoided.

This was not to mention that the small group he would be fighting would go entirely to him. Although the imps were likely to be frustrated by not being able to eat any essence if they found some, just Noah being able to absorb another 0.4 Strength points was enough for him to be satisfied.

"Sure, why not? Just follow me," Noah said as he summoned the wings on his back and flew slowly towards the nearest monsters.

'These wings are very useful,' he thought happily.
