In Noah's vision, there were two windows.

[Congratulations user for forming your first contract! From now on, the demon Lilith has become your familiar. As the user's familiar, part of the exp that would be wasted will go to her. Level up together!]

As simple as that message may have seemed, to Noah it was like a reality-destroying bomb. It was no longer simply that he would feel the connection between him and Lilith becoming much stronger than before, now she would also receive part of the Exp of the monsters he killed! 'If she is going to receive part of the exp that would be wasted, then does that mean that the exp I receive will not decrease? This is amazing! Wait... if she also gets exp, then when she levels up, will she also receive skills?'

Thinking about this possibility, Noah was very excited. The problem he was currently experiencing was that he was not self-sufficient enough to invade a Fortress alone; he needed the help of others who were Blessed because he expended a lot of energy using his skills. But now that he had someone who would evolve with him and who would not decrease the amount of exp he received, in the future, Noah may not even need Blessed teammates; he could just invade Fortresses along with Lilith and the two of them might be enough alone to achieve this!

While Noah was completely excited on the one hand, Lilith was confused by the window that appeared floating in front of her. Strangely, even though she didn't know exactly what it was, her subconscious was making the right deductions - or maybe she was remembering things from the past that made her understand what it meant and what it could do?

Needless to say, she was no less impressed by this than Noah. Lilith knew she needed to get stronger and have more stamina to be able to heal from the injuries that came with her, and she needed to endure the pain and damage that trying to discover the old memories would do to her. So she saw this as a good opportunity to achieve this, like a pie that fell from the sky right in her lap at the perfect moment.

Looking at Noah secretly, Lilith saw a young boy with a beautiful face looking into the void with a very excited look, probably for the same reason as she had been. So Lilith reaffirmed to herself now in an even more sure and certain voice about everything, 'I really made the right choice when deciding to join you. My instincts didn't lie to me.'

Noah didn't know what Lilith was thinking. He was trying to mentally figure out what he could do with her system, since he was apparently the host, so he knew he had some kind of control. What Noah found was that as soon as he could see his stats page, he could also see her page.

[User: Lilith ????

Title: Lucifer's Descendant's Companion, ????????

Level: 01, 0/200 exp

HP: 10/3

Strength: 9

Agility: 15

Stamina: 12

Skills:

(BLOCKED: ???????)]

Looking at this statistics page, Noah was left with more questions than he had before he had looked at it, as he had now discovered that even the system could not give him some of the information about Lilith.

At the least, Noah was pleased when he realized that he received the answer to his main question in this moment of excitement, which was proof that Lilith also had skills, which when he focused on her level, it also said that whenever she leveled up, she would receive a new skill, but her current ability was blocked for some reason. When Noah read the explanation of the system, he found it understandable.

[As long as the user of the skill has serious injuries, it will be impossible to use this skill.]

That being the reason, Noah thought it made sense, and now his priority in healing Lilith had increased even more. What once motivated him to continue was the friendship and the connection they had. Now it had also become an interest in the future development of the two of them, since once since she was cured, Noah would have a very strong partner with himself.

Seeing that Lilith had an expression as if trying to understand something, something that Noah didn't even know was possible for a snake to do, he decided to let her digest the information she was receiving and to compare what they knew afterwards. He now had another window to view and receive updates from.

[Congratulations user for completing your first quest. In order to be able to walk among humans and fulfill their own desires, unlike traditional angels, Lucifer developed a technique to hide his own wings in public. As an extra reward for performing Lucifer's first quest, the user received this technique as a bonus.

Do you want to receive both rewards?]

Seeing the system window, Noah sighed with relief. That was the main reason why he didn't have the courage to complete the mission in front of the Blessed others inside the Fortress, since as he didn't know he was going to receive this ability to hide his wings, Noah thought that as soon as he opened the mission window he might already receive the wings. How would he explain to other people that he had been given wings out of nowhere? Would he say he ate an Angry Bird and the wings grew on him, or that he was a surgeon and sewed wings on himself? Bullshit! None of that would be a good explanation! So Noah waited until he was alone to be able to read the message.

Luckily, he received this technique, so even though he had the wings, other people wouldn't necessarily need to know that, allowing Noah to just pretend to have fire skills. And if he needed to use the wings, he could just make up a random excuse like he always did. Was that a good idea? Clearly not! But it was the only one he had at the moment.

'I accept,' Noah said mentally to the system window.

[Delivering rewards.]

Seeing the window in front of him, Noah felt his heart race. It was every human's dream to have a pair of wings, and Noah was no different. But 3 seconds passed, 5 seconds passed, 10 seconds passed... Nothing happened. When Noah was beginning to be disappointed at the thought that he would not receive the wings, suddenly a skill, which he never knew he had, came into his mind.

Just like the other skills he had received from the system, it also came as if it were something very natural for Noah, as if it was something he always had.

Noah understood what he should do very naturally, as if he had been doing it since the day he was born, even though this was the first time he had thought of it.

Suddenly, Lilith was startled. Beneath her, Noah had risen from the floor where he was sitting and took her off his shoulder, placing her very carefully on the sofa nearby so that she would not be hurt any further because of her open wounds.

Lilith didn't know what was going on, but before asking him, she decided to watch with curiosity. Strangely for her, Noah started taking off the sweatshirt he was wearing. That sweatshirt was dirty because he hadn't showered yet, being from the same outfit he had worn in the Fortress: the outfit he used to sit on the dirt, the clothes he was forced to roll on the grass to dodge the attacks of the monsters. So he was not sitting on the sofa, but on the floor of his office, not even sitting on the carpet, knowing that the carpet would get dirty and he was the one who would have to wash the rug later.

Noah, now without the loose sweatshirt, allowed Lilith to see his body very well. She had some human awareness of what she presumed to come from her memories, but she was not yet so developed that she felt some kind of attraction to a human, but that didn't stop Lilith from feeling admiration for Noah's body in the same way that it had been millennia ago in human history, something that she didn't even know, the Greek people admired the human body as a work of art, as something to be appreciated and something in which to seek utopian perfection.

That was how Lilith saw Noah's body: something that was so close to perfect that it could even be considered a work of art.

She couldn't understand why Noah was stretching his arms as if he were stretching for something. It looked like he was going to do some kind of exercise. 'Perhaps he was injured in the Fortress? But he has no bruises other than the small cuts and scrapes he received, so it makes no sense,' she thought with even more confusion.

It was then that Noah did something that surprised Lilith. She looked at him and suddenly, she heard the sound of feathers hitting the wind. It was not a loud or imposing noise, because apparently there were few feathers, but Lilith was surprised that this human was producing the noise of feathers. After all, as far as she knew, humans had no feathers anywhere.

But when she paid attention to Noah, she was able to see where that noise of feathers was coming from. On Noah's back was a majestic pair of wings, a pair of wings with the most beautiful black feathers that Lilith had ever seen in her life. It's not like she had seen much in her life, as the only thing she truly remembered was about the time she spent in the monster shop, but she could say with conviction that none of those monsters in the shop had feathers that could reach even a fifth of how majestic these black feathers on Noah's wings were.

The only problem was that these wings were in fact... as small as a chicken's wings!?
