Martial Arts System
chapter-145

"FIRST MATCH OF THE FINALS! AVERY FROM ICELAND VS. SARIEL FROM COLDLAND!"

*CHEERS*

Sariel stood up and walked towards the arena.

Avery gently smiled and entered the arena.

They were about 10 meters from each other while the huge arena surrounded them.

"Are you both ready?" The Referee shouted.

Avery and Sariel nodded.

Avery looked as calm as ever.

While Sariel had some nervousness inside him.

It is the first time he is fighting with this much pressure, and he knows that his family is watching him.

In the Snowland's Hospital.

"Come on, Sariel!" Michael shouted.

Alice clenched her fist, nervousness visible on her cute and adorable face.

Liam looked at the TV with tired-looking eyes.

Kurogami Residence.

"Sariel, he was really strong, right?" Azumi said.

"Extremely strong." The Mayor of Irio, also known as Maxwell, said.

Not all might understand the status and strength one of the Kings of High School of Fighting possesses.

But Maxwell does.

Lucas looked at the screen, 'Both are incredibly strong.'

In Wyrward Residence.

Sauron, and Ariel, Sariel's parents, were looking at the TV.

There was a young man in his 20s sitting next to them— he is known as Sariel's Big Brother, Saru.

He was looking at the screen with a slightly angry face.

Sariel is currently in the spotlight of the entire Winterlight, and there is nothing he can do.

Sauron and Ariel looked at the screen with proud faces, which made Saru even angrier.

Saru was never super genius. He is 20 years old and a Low Martial Commander.

He should reach Martial King in the future, but beyond that is a mystery.

Sariel can reach Martial Monarch, maybe even Martial Saint!

Sariel's two other siblings actually liked Sariel more than Saru because they knew what kind of person he was.

They were cheering loudly, hoping for Sariel to win this match.

In the Sunlove residence.

Luna was holding her knees while looking at the TV.

She felt hope rising because Avery was fighting first.

Not even he can defeat the 3 supreme geniuses of Winterlight… Right?

"Please… Win!" Luna cheered loudly.

Surprisingly, her mother, aunt, and grandfather looked at the tournament in a separate room.

Her grandfather, also known as Solar, was standing with the help of his wooden cane.

His two daughters were sitting in chairs some distance away from him.

Luna's mother, also known as Lily, knew the seriousness of this match.

The people from Winterlight have no idea the seriousness of this situation.

Lily's sister, also known as Amy, was sitting next to her.

"Avery's opponent, who is he?" Amy asked.

"One of the Four Kings of High School of Fighting," Lily replied.

"Is that good?" Amy asked cluelessly.

"In Winterlight, yes… Every King might be Monarch-Level Talents."

Amy nodded and sighed, "It is actually pretty good… But compared to Avery, who is God-Level talent… It is trash."

"It is good that Avery fights first. Maybe Coldland has a chance of winning if Sariel and the second fighter deal enough damage." Lily said.

"Do you really think that?" Amy asked with a raised eyebrow, "The moment he uses his Moon Techniques, the match is over."

Lily lowered her head, "Realistically… Coldland has no chance in victory."

Amy went quiet.

Solar looked at the TV with his aged eyes.

"FIGHT!" The Referee shouted and quickly left the arena.

[Wyrward Family Technique – Ten Punches Equals To Thousand Punches!]

Sariel was the first one to make his move!

Wind pressure gathered around his fists, and when he was only 5 meters away from Avery.

He punched!

He punched the air in front of him.

Avery raised an eyebrow, but then he felt wind pressure assaulting his figure.

He started sliding backward, but the strength of wind pressure was decreasing.

But then, Sariel took another step.

[Wyrward Family Technique – Ten Punches Equals To Thousand Punches!]

This time, Avery was properly sent flying, but with ease, he landed on the ground and managed to stop his body's momentum.

He wasn't injured, not even exhausted.

There was small drops of sweat appearing on Sariel's forehead.

Avery looked amused, he actually felt comfortable because of the wind.

He cracked his knuckles and disappeared from his spot!

The audience only widened their eyes in shock.

Avery appeared in front of Sariel and unleashed a simple punch towards Sariel's gut.

[Wyrward Family Technique – Floating Soul]

Sariel's legs didn't even move, but somehow he did a sidestep towards the left and dodged the punch.

"Oh…" Avery was slightly impressed.

It looked like Sariel was floating.

[Wyrward Family Technique – Ten Punches Equals To Thousand Punches!]

This time, Sariel stomped the ground powerfully and unleashed his punch towards Avery's unguarded cheek.

Avery saw this attack coming from miles away, he jumped backward, but the punch's aftermath sent him sliding a few meters.

Sariel wasn't done and appeared in front of Avery.

[Wyrward Family Technique – One Punch!]

Sariel did a straight punch, straight towards Avery's face.

Avery tilted his head and dodged the punch.

But his body was in a very uncomfortable spot.

And that is what Sariel wanted.

[Wyrward Family Technique – Two Punches!]

Sariel sent a double jab towards Avery's body.

His fists was only an inch away from hitting, but then he saw something shocking.

Avery started spinning and used the spinning velocity to move 10 meters away from him instantly!

"Hehe…" Avery stopped spinning and chuckled.

Sweatdrops started trickling down Sariel's cheeks.

'Amazing reflexes!' Sariel thought with amazement.

Avery wasn't actually using any techniques.

He only did a split-second decision and decided to start spinning to use the velocity to escape his peril.

That is his talent.

He can think of thousands of different solutions in only a split second.

But he would need to be in full concentration.

Ichiro managed to punch him because he was surprised by his sudden appearance.

And Ichiro's attack didn't even take a second to land.

If he wasn't surprised.

Ichiro would have never been able to hit him with such speed.

His speed was incredible, but in Avery's eyes, it wasn't.

Of course, no matter how fast Avery's mind is to think solutions, sometimes his body can't keep up.

Especially against people with the same rank as him.

But if that person is one rank lower than him, like Sariel… Then he has more than enough time.

Sariel isn't focused on speed after all.

This is a terrible match-up for Sariel.

But Sariel didn't look like he was defeated.

Fighting intent filled his eyes.

Match has only begun.
