( Rudra's POV )

" Ha- hahahaha- ha- ha - ha "

Rudra chuckled like a madman as he observed the developments going on in Satan's army camp.

His omniscient eyes were gazing far beyond what normal people could see, but since he was standing on the edge of a fortress and looking into the distance laughing, Sebastian who was observing him from nearby thought the man was a complete wackjob.

The war dynamics were shifting fast.

The initial centre line had been altered beyond recognition and all the small cannon fodder clans along the centre that were initially fighting against one another, were either destroyed or called back to further inlands.

The war had reached a point where the heavyweights had to do the heavy lifting now.

Every orb raid was freakishly close to a monarch's domain and if one was not careful they could be squashed without even knowing where the attack came from.

As a result, orb raids had became stealth missions with high level tier5 Assassin's and a few tier6 god's taking matters into their own hands as they conducted strategic raids.

Naturally this resulted in the overall orb count destruction slowing down significantly as there would be only 1-3 orbs destroyed per side per day and those attacks too would come with a fair bit of drama.

But the shifted dynamics was not the reason behind why Rudra was laughing like a madman. The reason behind his laughter was because he could see the changes happening to Satan's stronghold and make a guess about what was going to happen next.

The dragon's that had defected to the dark faction were starting to join Satan's camp, giving a ridiculous boost to their aerial prowess as a camp.

The dragon's were a beast that were the absolute rulers of the sky.

If a legion of 50 tier5 dragon's was charging at 5000 tier5 vampires, Rudra would pray for the vampires' lives as he understood that only a fiery grave awaited them.

However, even this was not the reason behind his laughter.

The reason behind his laughter was the fact that he could now see through the universal queen's scheme.

Both the light and dark faction had undergone reshuffling after the two disc raids.

Monarchs that were alive absorbed the forces of those that were dead and hence the defences were reorganised.

For some reason Lucifer redirected the dragon's from the disc they were protecting to the disc that Satan was protecting and Rudra knew the reason behind why he made this move.

The devil had made this move because he knew that the next disc raid that was to be triggered was Satan's.

There was no fucking fairness to this war at all and while the rules seemed fair and it all seemed to be a balance of probability, reality was that the arbitrary factor of the war was being completely manipulated by the queen in favour of the dark faction.

The reason behind Rudra's mad laughter was because he had seen a step even beyond the obvious.

He was sure that both the dark and light faction would trigger their disc raids at relatively the same time on the same day or maybe in a gap of a day or two, but never more than that.

And he was damn sure that the disc raid to be protected as the vampires would go to raid Satan would be the vampire clans disc itself.

The queen would present the win to the dark faction on a golden platter like she did the previous time and the light faction would be forced to take the loss while biting their lips cursing their bad luck for the random disc raid to be triggered somehow was the one they were least prepared to defend.

While things worked out in the favour of the light faction when they killed Kane, that scenario would not apply when Regus Aurelius went to face Satan.

It would be a close fight where both sides would need to fight tooth and nail to secure victory and there was a fair chance that over 70% of vampire forces were eliminated in the pursuit of victory IF there was victory at all.

There was a fair chance everyone died and failed the disc raid as well.

Clapping his hands, Rudra began to laugh and congratulate the queen in his mind.

She had indeed planned to play a beautiful game, however unfortunately for her, the greatest mastermind to ever exist was a variable she had not accounted for, and he was fighting for the light faction camp.

( Meanwhile Max )

Max returned to the Dimensional Battlefield on day 15, a day later than his official leave was for, however, he was not given any heat over his impunctuality.

He was a hero of the vampire clan by now and his status and popularity had begun to rival that of the vampire princes, as the people had begun to see him as one of the pillars of the vampire society.

His very aura had changed once he became a god, his steps had a kind of magnaminty to them that was only seen in proud kings as his gaze had turned from one of vigilance to one of contempt as he seemed to look down on anyone who had sub-pure intentions towards him.

Before, if an Aurelius clan guard did not give him a bow as he passed as per the demands of his rank as a lord, Max would not mind and just walk by, however, now he would only need to unleash a slither of his aura towards such people and forcefully bring them to their knees sweating so that they understood well that he was above the level where they could defy him.

He was absolutely throwing his weight around and enjoying it as well as he knew that he had earned it.

He had not gone through so many difficulties and overcome so many challenges just to take shit from mortals.

Now that he finally had the strength to back his fists up, he walked with a swagger matching his status.
