Max watched with a soft smile on his face as Sebastian exacted his revenge on Angakok.

He had made short work of the Phoenix, the poor thing was overly reliant on its flame prowess but unfortunately for it, the flames it was so proud of were useless against the wielder of the Agni-Astra.

However, despite making short work of the Phoenix, Max did not interfere in Sebastian's battle as he knew exactly how much this moment meant to him.

Even Max felt the pinch of losing his master, but while for him life continued as usual after Kremeth's death, for Sebastian it did not.

Sebastian wasn't the same after Kremeth's death, he did not laugh as much, he did not joke around like before, it was almost like his naivety died with Kremeth.

Although he was the same individual, he was harbouring unresolved bitterness in his heart, bitterness that could only be resolved after exacting his pound of flesh from Angakok.

Max had been a firsthand witness to how hard Sebastian worked to come up with his fusion attack and he was extremely proud of his friend and his efforts.

Sebastian was a bonafide coward, the best one he had ever seen, however, that did not mean he wasn't a terrifying warrior when he wanted to be.

The one and only exception in living life the turtle Hermit way was-

Rule#14 which said ' Remember boys, There are some fights you cannot avoid, run from or give up on.

In those times, when everything else fails, you finally show the world how a cornered mouse can wreak havoc against a tiger '.

Max's heart was filled with complicated emotions as he remembered the good old times in the dragon's paradise dungeon as his master taught him the Turtle Hermit way of life.

Looking at Sebastian and then Angakok at his feet, Max knew that his friend had done enough, from this point onwards it was ' him ' who needed to show that Sebastian wasn't master Kremeth's only student.

( Angakok's POV )

Indignation after indignation after indignation.

Angakok felt like his ego was being shattered to pieces as the spittle that Sebastian just spat on his face rolled down his chin.

There was a time when even monarchs trembled at the name of the Shaman God Angakok.

There was a time where a mere whim of his resulted in the death of a dozen gods, yet somehow those times now seemed like a distant past.

Ever since he woke up for a second time, ever since he picked up the time seed, his life had been in a downward spiral and at the centre of it all was Kremeth and disciple Max.

As he finally killed the frail old turtle, Angakok felt like he had redeemed his status as the terrifying Shaman God, yet it turned out to be his biggest mistake.

He failed to capitalise on the momentum of killing Kremeth and ended up creating hateful monsters like Sebastian who wanted nothing more than his life in the process.

" NO MORE! "

" THIS TIME I WON'T RETREAT, THIS TIME I EITHER WALK OUT WITH MY PRIDE OR I DIE HERE IN FRONT OF YOU BASTARDS " Angakok yelled as he slammed his fist on the ground below and pulled his body to his feet with sheer willpower.

Angakok had finally reached his boiling point, he had taken several small defeats and had retreated to improve several times now.

If he retreated once more, his ego would not permit himself to be viewed with the same reverence as he did anymore and Angakok was not ready for such a day to come.

Perhaps it was the influence of the time seed, perhaps it was his own vain pride, however, Angakok decided to make his last stand at this very moment.

Divine essence began swirling all around him as Angakok decided to prepare a tier8 attack that his current body could not handle.

The time seed began glowing bright green as the more divine essence that Angakok pumped into it, the greater its prowess became.

His aura exploded from his current tier7 strength to the full power it once used to be at tier8 as Angakok used the power of the time seed to re-form his peak once more.

His body began to grow in size, at first 2x then 5x then 10x until Angakok grew to the 1000x cosmic giant size that Max always viewed him as whenever he swapped bodies with the Shaman God.

In his cosmic giant form, Angakok looked down upon Max, Sebastian and Sir Jhonny as he prepared to unleash his strongest attack ever and wipe out all three of them at once.

As he burned more and more of his divine essence reserve, the aura around Max and others became that much more suffocating as they were once again reminded of what sort of a beast Angakok truly was at his peak.

" Any moment now sonny, I think he has burnt enough of his reserve for you to make your move.

I think if you wait a few seconds more, this attack will kill us all- " Sir Jhonny who had been just released from his time prison said, as Max nodded with a serious expression.

Max had indeed been waiting for the perfect moment to strike and seeing Angakok burn off more and more of his divine essence reserve made Max extremely happy.

However, he couldn't play it too close to the chest, he needed to act fast before Angakok released his devastating attack, because if he did not then the three of them were sure to be killed under Angakok's oppressive strength.

Closing his eyes, Max sensed the small blood mist particles that were spread all across Angakok's massive celestial form, most likely from the wounds that sir Jhonny had caused early into the fight-

' Master, this one's for you- ' Max thought as he activated his Bloodline Powers.

As he opened his eyes, the red in him seemed to overwhelm the purple of Angakok as he shouted at the top of his lungs.

" Blood Mist Explosion "
