" So let me get this straight, the perfect warrior is only a gate-keeper to the wider multiverse, that's what you are telling me?

So basically, Sigma, which was like a VR game mixed with reality, was not really the ultimate game?" Rudra asked in disbelief as he did not wish to acknowledge this information as it came as something extremely disheartening for him.

He had worked way too hard to start from point 0 again when he entered Sigma and did not feel like he had the strength to go through this all over again.

" You are wrong. In the tower, we won't be climbers but floor masters.

With our strength at tier9, we will be placed around floor 80 and be designated as 'Angels', beings that are only half step away from becoming true gods but are not the all-powerful and omniscient god.

Just like we do in the celestial realm, our job would be to nurture those who hail from our world's and help them advance the tower by making them our champions or giving them gifts.

If they perform well, our strength will increase and the restriction on us climbing floors would be eased.

When our champions eventually cross floor 80, that's when the magic will start as they would have to defeat a floor80 master just like ourselves to climb further.

But once they reach that realm, the shackles preventing our ascension to floor 100 will be removed completely and we can brave the remaining challenges ourselves to become the god of the tower, the Omniscient being that can live his life without a single regret" Enel explained as Rudra grit his teeth.

In a way, this was not as bad as starting over from ground 0 and becoming a mortal again, however, it wasn't the way Rudra would prefer it to be either as he was going to have to actually take the time to nurture talents and supervise their progression while placing the bets of his own progression on them.

Everything he had achieved so far, he had done so on his own and the very idea that his future progression was going to be linked to someone else was not something that made him keen.

Nonetheless, it was also a problem for the future as for now Rudra was laser focused on taking down the perfect warrior.

The fucker was breaking the rules and messing with his family time and time again and he needed to be taught a lesson in respect.

It did not matter if the higher realm unlocked itself or did not unlock itself, as for Rudra defeating the perfect warrior was a personal endeavor.

" Alright- the tower aside, how is the perfect warrior as an opponent?" Rudra asked as he wanted to know what Junfred and Enel thought about the perfect warrior as an opponent.

" How is he as an opponent? HA! HAHAHAHA-" Enel laughed at this question as it was a sort of self deprecating and moral breaking laugh that made Rudra pity the god for a second.

" He's unstoppable-" Junfred said as he sighed.

" Bottomless stamina, bottomless mana, bottomless divine essence, bottomless strength, unfathomable speed, unfathomable techniques…." Enel said as he began to relive the nightmares of his fights against the perfect warrior and started at the ground below.

" He has thrice the stats of a regular celestial, the gap is almost too big to be bridged.

He doesn't have a physical body, so physical attacks won't work on him, and he has perfect magic attack neutralization which makes magic attacks useless.

I have fought against him at least 10,000+ times now yet the times I've been able to inflict even a 4% damage to his overall HP pool can be counted on one finger" Junfred said horridly as his body began to involuntarily shiver.

" Those damage were also in self suicide scenarios, where we literally self destruct just so that bastard feels some pain, but it doesn't amount to much" Enel filled in as he began shivering as well.

Rudra who observed the two and how they spoke about the perfect warrior realised that these men had lost the mental battle already.

They were too depressed to properly see the perfect warrior's shortcomings, however, it was clear from their words that the perfect warrior was stronger than anyone around and as the name suggested, he was 'perfect'.

" So he has no flaws at all? No weaknesses that we can exploit?" Rudra asked as he wanted the two to give him at least something useful that he could formulate a strategy around when facing the perfect warrior.

" The requirements to beat him are actually simple.

But it's not something we can do.

To even hold a close contest against him, one needs to be near his level-

To have the ability to exchange a few strikes against him and gauge him for his strengths and weaknesses.

Currently, none of the celestials are at that level, which is why we rely on the hack known as karmic value" Junfred said as he stared into Rudra's eyes with a fire in his gaze.

" You must have noticed when you were forming your core that you have unlocked the feature 'Karmic Value' " Junfred said as Rudra nodded.

He had indeed got that notification and saw some numbers on his system screen but he did not understand what it was.

" Karmic value is like a drug, it's a hack that you can use to supercharge your attacks or burn it to gain the boost in strength you need to turn the tide against the perfect warrior.

It's a double edged sword, as the second you start to use it, you will burn a hole through your own HP, however, it can bridge the gap in strength between yourself and the perfect warrior.

He will almost always shift to defense the second you start to use it as he knows that he only needs to survive for a few seconds before you die, but the times where I've been able to get through his defenses and damage him have almost exclusively been the times where I've burnt through my karmic value and self destructed.

Same for Enel too" Junfred said as the two shed light on the hack that could help them turn the tide on Junfred.
