chapter-1029
"...Take care while I'm gone."
Letting out a low sigh as he left the town hall one last time, Valyr briefly glanced at the trio inside the hall before shifting his gaze towards his current surroundings.
Seeing as he wasn't sure when he'd be able to return to the place where his entire journey began, the young man decided to commit every single bit of the sight before him to his memory, taking his time in doing so.
Though, by the time he was done, he could not help but let out yet another sigh, reminiscing over the memories he'd formed in Astarto during his early days.
Going over those various memories one by one, Valyr eventually began to smile and chuckle, his thoughts having shifted to the things that happened earlier.Naturally, one of those things was his decision to give Damian the Prime Azure Bladedancer class he'd created, which unsurprisingly left the latter at a loss for words.
Of course, though the man was both surprised and exhilarated to have been given the opportunity to obtain a new class, Damian did not accept it immediately, instead asking the young man as to what kind of class he was giving him.
In response, Valyr and Damian engaged in a brief discussion of the latter's previous class, only to then shift the topic towards the class Valyr had created.
With Damian's Rank 4 class still being similarities to the Sword Dancer class he used to have, it went without saying that the man eventually accepted the prompt Valyr gave him.
Whoosh!
Aside from gaining a drastic increase in combat strength, Damian noticed that all of the dances contained in his new class seemed to mesh well together, causing him to eventually imagine a sight where he would fight against monsters to no end.
Other than that, he also took notice of the fact that he'd gained access to a new type of energy thanks to him accepting the class, which Valyr swiftly explained as the energy he'd been using to clear the vermin earlier.Feeling the greater potential and strength slumbering within the dark blue energy he conjured, it was no surprise that Damian felt immense gratitude towards the young man, understanding that he'd been given the class due to his wishes of becoming stronger.
After making sure that he had somewhat acclimated to his newfound strength, it was only then Damian and Valyr head back to the town hall, meeting up with both Tristan and Alfaera that immediately noticed the change to Damian's aura.
Though he initially had thoughts of keeping it a surprise from the others, Damian eventually decided to spill the beans to the two, causing both Tristan and Alfaera to look at Valyr with gazes filled with both awe and greed.
Slightly overwhelmed by the stares of the two, Valyr eventually replied to their thoughts by asking for more information regarding their current classes.
After all, he was only able to create one for Damian since he had a basic idea of what he needed to create.
With Tristan and Alfaera readily giving him information on their respective classes, Valyr went ahead and tried making new classes for them once more through [Power Impartation]...
Only to come to the conclusion that the classes he made for them through the ability was only on par with the classes they currently had.
Then again, Valyr felt that it made sense after mulling over it for a bit.
Though his main class was that of a blacksmith, Valyr's path of blacksmithing greatly differed from Tristan, considering how most of the things he forged were for himself.
On the other hand, Tristan had been mainly forging for the people of Astarto, which had been elevated to the next level with him becoming the leader of the town's Blacksmith Guild branch.
He did have the thought of combining Prime Azure Energy into the blacksmith class he was considering, with the system even telling him that a class like that boasted great potential in the world of blacksmithing.
Yet, in the end, he did not continue creating the class as he felt that giving a class like that to Tristan would be him denying the man's origins.
'In any case, I now have a rough idea of what the Blacksmith of the Prime Azure class is capable of... in terms of the abilities I gave it anyway.'
'It kind of makes me curious as to how it differs to the choice I got during my ascension.'
As for Alfaera, the reason behind him not giving her a class made through [Power Impartation] was far simpler.
He had no experience with the class Alfaera currently had, nor did he have any skills or similar powers that would make the class he created a better option to what she currently had.
After that, the four made use of the opportunity that they were together to catch up on what the various sides were doing, causing all of them to look at each other with smiles as they reminisced about the times they were together.
Unfortunately, just like most things, their conversation had to come to an end as Valyr received a message from Julian, telling him that Mystia had agreed to his request of meeting
up with her.
With that, he eventually parted ways with the trio, leading to the current situation of him sitting by the entrance of Astarto's town hall.
"To be honest, I should've done this sooner," murmured the young man to himself, his thoughts revolving around what he'd done with Mystic Energy.
Aside from obtaining it through the alchemical concoctions Mystia had given him, the young man's foray into Mystic Energy only extended towards the few times Vera taught him while the five of them were in the Four Pillars' Inheritance.
Other than that, he did not touch Mystic Energy at all, instead focusing on the route of Azure Energy, which eventually turned into the Prime Azure Energy he now had as his main energy
source.
Letting out a faint sigh as he briefly lamented over what could've been, Valyr soon stood up to head to the Blacksmith Guild, making up his mind to correct his wrongs and to set a more solid foundation for the future.
Glancing back at the town hall one last time as he inwardly bade farewell to the trio, the young man soon had a look of determination and conviction on his face, lasting up until he arrived at the Blacksmith Guild a few minutes later.
