"Eh?" Valyr paused what he was doing, looking at Wells with slight confusion. "It's already been a day?"

"If I hadn't interrupted you, you probably would've missed that meeting of yours and continued doing what you were doing just now," said the man in response, inwardly letting out a sigh that he'd come in at the right time.

After all, even though he had the courage to interrupt Valyr in his state of self-introspection when necessary, Wells preferred to not disturb him in case he was on the brink of figuring something out.

Wryly smiling at his friend's words, Valyr thanked Wells for giving him a heads-up as he moved his chat screen to the side.

Taking a look out of his window after that, he then brought up his status screen, soon finding out that roughly a day had indeed passed since he started his experiment to fuse mana and Mystic Energy together.

Of course, with the amount of progress he'd made in that experiment, the young man considered it a roaring success. Though, he would have to shelf the other thoughts he had about it for the meantime.

Nodding at Wells as the man told him that there was food on the table, Valyr briefly returned his attention to the chat screen, removing the message that he was initially about to send to Mystia.

Instead, he asked her about her current whereabouts, though he did still talk a bit about the Intent he needed to comprehend for his plans at the end.

At the same time, while waiting for Mystia's response, he sent a message to Julian, asking him what time the meeting with the directors was going to start.

Surprisingly, Julian responded not even a minute after he'd sent the message out, telling him that the meeting with the directors would start at around noon.

Looking out the window once more to see that there were still a few hours before the meeting began, Valyr let out a sigh of relief as he made his way to where both Edward and Wells were. Seeing how Edward still looked like he wanted to sleep a bit more as he made his way to the dining table, the young man let out a chuckle as he began to talk to the two while eating.

Unsurprisingly, Valyr brought up a bit about the meeting he was going to attend, prompting both Edward and Wells to listen on with interest after he told them that it had something to do with the frontlines.

Hearing that there was the possibility of them obtaining new equipment after the meeting, the two looked at Valyr with both excitement and gratitude, only for their eyes to widen in surprise after the young man revealed something else to them.

"Now that I think about it, I haven't mentioned to you two that I now officially own a piece of land in this kingdom," said Valyr in a nonchalant manner, inwardly smiling as he knew he'd set off waves in the hearts of the two.

Hearing that the two were curious as to what kind of land he got, Valyr felt his heart warm up when they asked if it was possible for them to stay with him there.

Naturally, the young man responded that they were more than welcome to stay there, though he did give them a heads-up that it would be a while before the three would truly be able to stay in that area.

"After all, the contract that says I own that land isn't in my hands yet."

With that, the three eventually finished their meals, with Valyr going through his usual routine after that as he freshened himself up in preparation for the meeting.

Bidding farewell to the two for the meantime, the young man activated [Thousand Polymorph] and adopted his Ylvar identity before putting on his usual suit of armor.

After making sure that he hadn't forgotten to bring anything along with him, it was only then did he make his way to the Blacksmith Guild, heading straight to where Julian was.

"So, how was the visit to the empire?" Arriving at the man's private workshop, Valyr had a smile on his face as he heard the man ask him a question.

"Better than I thought it would turn out," replied Valyr with a chuckle, eventually coming face to face with Julian.

Surprisingly, although he was still in the midst of forging a piece of equipment, Julian wore a set of clothes befitting that of a guild leader.

Donning a crimson red robe that accentuated the man's hair and eyes, the robe the man wore was covered in various accessories and trinkets that made it exude majesty amidst its overall simplicity.

Though it seemed out of place for the one manning the workshop to wear, Valyr also felt that it was apt, considering the authority and power that the man before him wielded.

"Now you've got me curious." Putting on the final touches on the piece of equipment he was forging, Julian eventually put his hammer to the side as he looked at Valyr with a grin. "What did you exactly do with the Imperial Alchemist while you were there?"

"Something you'll find out sooner or later," said Valyr in response, inwardly grinning as he imagined the look of surprise on Julian's face once he found out Mystia was attending their meeting. "In any case, where will the meeting be held?"

"At the Imperial Production Guild's assembly hall," said Julian in response. "Though it would make more sense for the meeting to be held at the empire, keep in mind that our kingdom is currently considered as the largest warfront."

"The reason why I say that is because we've decided to hold the meeting where our decisions could be implemented with the greatest effect," continued the man. "After all, if the largest warfront benefits greatly from it, then so does our side overall."

"I see." Valyr nodded after a bit of silence. "What kind of positive changes has the meeting brought to the frontlines so far? Also, does the meeting have an official name?"

"We call it the War Forge Assembly." Julian decided to reply to the second question first. "As for the positive changes... one of the bigger ones would be the implementation of the ranged weapon Vylhalteinn proposed to us."

"Another one would be the streamlining of weapon production and delivery to the frontlines." The man smiled at those words. "That would be the quotas you, I, and the other blacksmiths in this guild have been completing as of late."

"Other than that, there would also be the optimization of what weapons to prioritize, as well as the streamlining of general squads that are currently fighting out there in the frontlines."

"Though, if we consider your proposition of your armor set and your arquebus to the directors later, then that'll probably be the biggest change these meetings will bring to the frontlines," said Julian to conclude his explanation, only for the young man to let out a

chuckle in response.

"Is that so?"

"Best not to disappoint you, then."
