From the information he was currently reading, which he had gained after completing the quest related to the First Forger, the Gates of Enlightenment looked to be just the first step he and the others would take within the Four Pillars' Inheritance if they wanted to obtain greater rewards. With how the rewards he had gained from the trial he just went through already involved Intent Seeds and great amounts of knowledge, he did not even want to begin imagining what he would get the further he went in.

"The Gates of Enlightenment makes up the largest part of the portion, though the elite and the prodigies amongst the elite could be found in the two gates that go beyond the Gates of Enlightenment." Deciding to not let his mind go into tangents for the meantime, the young man refocused his attention to the screen before him, rereading through everything to see if he had missed anything.

"With the three gates working as one, the organization called the Triad Gates is formed," muttered the young man, looking through the information written on the screen to find out more information about the two other gates. "The Gates of Enlightenment is considered the outermost gate, with most people more than satisfied with stopping at this point."

"After that is the Gates of Awakening, which allows those that have met the qualifications to gain access to secrets and knowledge that would allow their skills and combat prowess to go one step further." At this point, Valyr's expression turned solemn. "From the perspective of a sect, those in the Gates of Enlightenment are considered to be outer disciples, while those in the Gates of Awakening are considered to be inner disciples."

Continuing to read a bit more, Valyr eventually stopped as his attention was caught by a certain line. "Those in the Gates of Awakening gain access to inheritances that would allow them to follow the path of great figures in history. If they are able to gain access to this, they might reap great gains in terms of individual prowess, or perhaps inherit the entire path of the figure itself."

'Doesn't this basically describe what I went through earlier?' thought the young man to himself, trying to make sense of the current situation. 'If the Gates of Awakening is the minimum threshold to experience what I just went through, then why was the Trial of Myriad Aberrations under the Gates of Enlightenment?'

Thankfully, after a bit more sleuthing through the information he had been given, Valyr had obtained his answer. "Though the Gates of Awakening is considered as the stage of elites, all beings start off at the Gates of Enlightenment."

"With that, during entrance trials, those that have shown themselves to have abilities that exceed the scope of the Gates of Enlightenment are given the chance to experience benefits that would only be obtained by those at the Gates of Awakening and the gate that comes after, whether it be in the form of rewards that increase power or fragmented inheritances."

"Beyond the Gates of Awakening exists the Gates of Transcendence, where only the prodigies amongst the elite are able to enter." Satisfied with the answer he had gotten, he then moved onto the final gate that made up the larger organization the Gates of Enlightenment was a part of. "From the perspective of a sect, those at the Gates of Transcendence are considered to be core disciples, with the goal of the Gates of Enlightenment and the Gates of Awakening being to foster more people that would eventually enter the Gates of Transcendence."

"Within the Gates of Transcendence, people have access to secrets and knowledge that only the strongest in the world would normally have access to, allowing their skills and combat prowess to transcend the concept of class ranks," said the young man to himself. "Those in the Gates of Transcendence also gain access to inheritances related to the path of transcendental figures in history, such as the Four Pillars of Humanity."

Reading the phrase 'Four Pillars of Humanity' on the screen before him, Valyr began to look for more information on who they were, considering that the inheritance he had taken part in was called the Four Pillars' Inheritance. Though he already had a hunch as to who made up the Four Pillars of Humanity, a look of relief appeared on his face when he found out that the First Forger was included in the group.

"I guess the strength I've shown is enough for me to be considered a part of the Gates of Transcendence?" At these words, Valyr slightly chuckled. After that, he read a bit more information on the structure of the three gates, only to find out that there was a map that marked all of the important locations in each gate.

Committing all of the important locations to memory in the off chance he would need it in the future, he then moved onto the remaining piece of information he hadn't read yet, which was the goal behind establishing the Gates of Enlightenment.

Or more specifically, the Triad Gates as a whole.

Scrolling to the bottom of the packet of information he had received, the young man read through the few paragraphs that summarized the Triad Gates' goal, letting out a small chuckle not long after. 'Who knew the hypothesis I made during the trial was actually correct?'

According to the information he was reading, the goal behind the establishment of the Triad Gates was to make sure that the prosperity of the human race could continue to blossom, cultivating talents that would eventually take the mantle of the legendary figures from the past in the process.

Though, with how the Gates of Enlightenment only seemed to exist within the Four Pillars' Inheritance at this point, Valyr had a strong feeling that the Triad Gates was eventually abolished due to the passage of time, the reasons behind it being unknown to him.

'Quite a shame if true,' thought the young man to himself, finally allowing his mind to go on tangents for a bit. 'If the Triad Gates still existed in the outside world, perhaps the War of the Three Sovereignties wouldn't have happened in the first place.'

"Then again, I am curious how humans lived far before the arrival of the system," muttered Valyr as he began to think out loud. "Though the memory from the First Forger showed me how they suffered under the orcs a few days before the system's arrival, surely humans would have created a safe space for their own somewhere even back then, right?"

Letting out a faint sigh as he felt like such a question would be left unanswered for a long time, the young man closed the screen in front of him before looking at the path that would lead him to the Gates of Enlightenment's Blacksmith Knowledge Repository.

Then, after a bit of silence, he stepped foot into it, disappearing from the trial grounds a few seconds later.
