MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

chapter-874
Having watched the unwritten history of Veldanyr unfold before his very eyes, it went without saying that Valyr was engrossed, committing all of the information he was getting to memory.
At the same time, it made him think about Vaughn, recalling that the memory initially revolved around Vaughn and his actions.
Curious as to why the memory decided to shift to encompass the entire memory, Valyr decided to ask him about it, as well as another question that was bothering him.
"During those 70,000 years, did you know what was going on?"
In response, Vaughn briefly stopped the memory before looking back at Valyr and nodding. "I did, yeah.""If I didn't, I wouldn't have been able to record this much information with this much detail."
With that, Vaughn answered Valyr's initial question about the shift in focus, talking about how nothing much had changed about his routine during the 70,000 years that transpired.
He did mention about how he went through all of the various combat styles one could obtain, as well as the various production classes that one could pursue to the peak of skill.
But, compared to the repetitive and monotonous routine he had going on at the time, the history of Veldanyr during that time seemed more important to record.
"While I was in the midst of exploring more and more of what the system had to offer, I morphed my appearance to infiltrate into the various civilizations of the species at the time, making sure to record all of the major events that had happened."
Nodding as he understood the things Vaughn was telling him beyond his response, Valyr returned his attention to the memory, prompting the former to continue where it had left off.
"On one fateful day in the middle of the three races' golden age, it was there that I had the thought of bringing humanity back to Veldanyr," said Vaughn, giving more context to the current situation."But before I did that, I decided to remind them of the existence that used to rule the lands."
Whoosh!
Morphing his face to that of a more scholarly being, Vaughn made his presence and existence known to the orcs, elves, and werebeasts that ruled all the time.
At first, these three races scoffed at him, thinking that he was just a mutation of a new species that wanted to recreate the achievements the founder of the orc race had done in the past.
However, when Vaughn unleashed the power he had treaded upon for the past 70,000 years, such thoughts immediately disappeared as they now looked at him with caution.
"At the end of those 70,000 years, I now had the ability to consistently obtain a Mythic grade class at Rank 1, as well as a Mythic grade subclass not long after ascending to that rank," said Vaughn, briefly glancing at the surprised expression Valyr had on his face.
"At that point, my goal for personal strength was to obtain an Ancient grade class and subclass at Rank 1, sensing that it would be the highest I could go even with the Authority stat bestowed upon me."
"Then again, having both an Ancient grade class and subclass at the end of the road was not much of a problem," continued the man with a grin, explaining about how he had experimented about going further through the ranks of the Myth level in a couple of his attempts.
By the time he had ascended to Rank 8 in those runs, he was forcefully kicked out of Veldanyr for being too strong, prompting him to reset his system in order to be able to return.
With that, for the latter portion of his runs, he kept his level to the highest level the planet could bother to bear.
The peak of Rank 7.
But of course…
His strength was a different story.
Crash!
Bang!
Boom!
With how he already had the ability to fight against beasts at Rank 7 back when he was Rank 5 with a Mythic grade class and subclass, it went without saying that the man unleashed a different kind of hell to the three races.
At the peak of Rank 7, with both class and subclasses at Ancient grade, Vaughn could unleash…
The strength of a being at Rank 10.
Swoosh!
Having allowed the many races to graze upon Veldanyr to do whatever they wanted for the past 70,000 years, Vaughn did not hold back in his bouts of destruction, even going so far as to level mountain ranges into vast plains.
Of course, the man only resorted to destroying the landscape in hopes of instilling great fear into their bodies, considering that the various races had ultimately done no wrong.
For over a thousand years, the man consistently tormented the orcs, elves, and werebeasts every single day, hoping that their hearts and minds would not forget his existence.
And forget they did not, inscribing into their various histories of the existence of Vaughn, who had now become known by the three races as the Supreme Calamity.
Even the dragons had not forgotten his existence, having also been tormented every once in a while by Vaughn during those thousand years.
Though, unlike the name the three races had given him, the dragons recorded him into their history as the Augur of Ruination.
But of course, the reason why Vaughn had decided to torment the various races of Veldanyr with his near Divine-level strength was simple.
To make sure the other races did not mess with the original beings that once roamed Veldanyr.
To make sure they did not mess with humanity.
Feeling like he had done enough to make sure his existence would not be so easily forgotten by the races, Vaughn stopped tormenting the races of Veldanyr around 72,000 years after the end of the Great Cataclysm.
Around that time, he had also begun to act upon his initial thought of bringing humanity back to Veldanyr, calling the entire thing Project Rebirth.
Thinking of the project as a sort of rebirth for all of the humans that had laid their lives for him, Vaughn had spent every waking hour of his to make sure the project would reach completion.
Then again, with Valyr having already seen the entire thing unfold before through the memory the quadrant leaders had given him access to, Vaughn swiftly moved through this portion of the memory.
In the end, the two of them continued the memory from the point where Vaughn had already successfully recreated humanity, creating the first batch of humans that had grazed upon the world of Veldanyr after a very long time.
Looking at them with slightly teary eyes, Vaughn thought about how much time had passed since the Great Cataclysm, surmising that over a hundred thousand years had already passed since then.
Feeling like that much time was enough for humanity to start anew, the man made use of the Authority stat that was bestowed upon him…
And disabled the Apparatus for every single being in Veldanyr.
