Chapter 66: Leeching Experience Points

“Give me two bottles for each of them as well!” said Jiang Fei, pointing at the two Buffing Types. He was dying to see how they performed in real life.

“Sure thing!”

Herb Box had not expected Jiang Fei to be so rich. Three-digit deals without even blinking!

“Let’s friend up. It’ll be convenient for the two of us!”

Jiang Fei did not intend to let such a proficient Chemist pass.

“No problem. The name’s Herb Box!” Herb Box gladly replied. Having secured such an affluent customer, he had also secured his income!

“Okay! I’ll contact you whenever necessary!” Jiang Fei added Herb Box to his buddy list and headed outside the city to grind.

Jiang Fei placed four Buffing Potions, two Small Instant Health Points Recovery Potions and five Small RoT Health Points Recovery Potions the blue slots of the mysterious ring.

After earned the 300,000 RMB from the deal, he had performed some experimenting of his own. He soon found that the mysterious ring was not stopping him from retrieving everything, but it had limited the item Level!

Jiang Fei was unable to retrieve equipment that enhanced a player’s combat power or, high Leveled items. For items with lower Levels such as potions and toys were no problem. If he planned to retrieve items of higher Levels, he had to first increase the Level of the mysterious ring!

After Jiang Fei exited the city, he ran towards where players above Level 20 did their grinding. Although the four major guilds had laid claim over the plot of land, he most probably had the standing to grind beside them!

As expected, the moment Jiang Fei approached the area, someone came to drive him away.

“I’m sorry, but The Aristocrats has made booked this area. Please change to another place!”

A Hunter class of the Elf Race ran over. Although he was rather polite, there was the unmistakable pressure from his tone.

“I’m Verdure Glider. I’m just going to grind here. Go ask Happy Drunk if I’m allowed to do so!” said Jiang Fei with a smile on his face.

“Hmm?” The Elf Hunter was slightly dumbfounded. The name sounded vaguely familiar, yet he was unable to call it to mind. This person seemed to be acquainted with the vice-master of his guild, so he had to have some standing. Without any further delay, he sent Happy Drunk a message.

“What? He wants to grind?”

Happy Drunk was slightly dumbfounded. He had already treated Jiang Fei as a genuine Blacksmith, through and through. Even if he had a Hidden class as he claimed, he was still a Profession class player. He should just be focusing on his anvil. Why the f*ck is he grinding for?

“Exactly! Vice guild master, do I need to drive him away?” asked the Elf Hunter.

“Nope! Bring him to me!” said Happy Drunk, after some slight consideration. He happened to be grinding himself not far off. Although he had obtained the details about the Bosses from Jiang Fei, his Tank was still not tough enough. He had gotten some quality gear from Jiang Fei, but they were nothing like the kingdom-treasure grade items that occupied each of Jiang Fei’s slots. After taking down the second Bearmen’s Boss, the third Boss had turned them into mush!

Thus, the four major guilds had put the dungeon on hold. All of them instead started racing for sheer Levels. They decided to pursue the average Level of 22.

Jiang Fei seemed to be leveling very fast as he had been solo-ing the Normal Mode dungeon on a daily basis while leading the girls of the Knighthood through Elite Mode dungeons. As the four major guilds had failed to clear the dungeon, the dungeon would only be reset for them once per week. Try as they might, they would never find a more efficient spot than Jiang Fei!

Jiang Fei was quickly escorted before Happy Drunk. Although Happy Drunk was only the vice guild master of The Aristocrats, he was actually the number one power personage within the guild. As he was not interested in managing the guild himself, he had hired a professional HR veteran to act as his guild master.

Happy Drunk’s grinding spot was most certainly the hot spot. Not only were the monsters spawning rapidly, but they were also numerous. It was most probably the best non-dungeon spot!

“Yo, Brother Glider! I heard that you actually want to grind?” Happy Drunk asked with curiosity.

“Haha, you can imagine it. how boring it is for me to swing my hammer all day long!” Jiang Fei replied with a grin.

“May I know what Level are you currently at, Brother Glider?”

Although Jiang Fei was already Level 21, he had not yet entered the top 10 positions on the Level ranking list. Also, he was not the clandestine, intelligence agency type of leader. He had absolutely no clue.

“Oh, boy. I’m a nobody when it comes to you, Brother Happy Drunk. You’re the No.1 player on the Dawnlight City Level Ranking list. But at some point, I have exceeded Level 20!” said Jiang Fei smilingly.

“What?” Happy Drunk was taken aback. All Level 20 players were the front lining elites from various major guilds. What the heck was Jiang Fei doing with them? Happy Drunk stared at him with renewed eyes.

The Profession class players among these major guilds were all Level 10. They would not be brought by their guilds to grind only until the middle-late stage of the game. Even then, the only purpose of getting them more Health Points was to prevent them from getting instantly assassinated!

“Ding! Happy Drunk has invited you to join his party!”

Jiang Fei received a system notification. Apparently, Happy Drunk was not convinced. He had to see his Level in person!

Jiang Fei nodded.

“Holysh*t!” When Jiang Fei entered the party, Happy Drunk completely lost his cool. He had already considered Level 20 to be ridiculously incredible. He had not expected to see a figure of 21! Even the 8th player on the Level Ranking list was Level 21. All he had was slightly more Experience Points than Jiang Fei!

“This guy is truly insane!”

Happy Drunk was utterly mindf*cked.

“Brother Glider, since you’re here, let’s just grind together!”

Happy Drunk invited Jiang Fei. After all, he was the one who had sent the party invitation. It would be poor taste to kick him out of the party after verifying his level with his own eyes.

“Alright then!” Jiang Fei nodded. It was always nice to party up with a walking cannon. He may be able to take a solid beating, but his Attack was very general. While he could dish out some decent damage in single bursts, his Skills were all hampered down by long cooldowns. It was no good in a general grind! Now, he had just partied up with the game’s most capable team!

As they went on, Jiang Fei came to a realization. Although he was a Hidden Class just like Happy Drunk, they were completely different entities. After all, he was still a Profession Class, while Happy Drunk was the purebred combatant. Whenever Happy Drunk drew his Chromatic grade Long Bow, death came flying. One monster fell after every three to five arrows. He had not even cast a single skill! By the time Jiang Fei successfully killed a mob, Happy Drunk had already downed three to four enemies. In this way, Jiang Fei was leeching Experience Points off this party!
