Knock Knock!

"Come in!" The Commander said from inside as I knocked on the door; I opened the door and walked inside the office.

"Commander, you have summoned me?" I asked, "Yes," She said with a heavy sigh. A trip to the Astral Tower had changed her, her aura had become even more concentrated, and the feeling of strength she gave off became quite heavy.

If she projects her aura on normal Tyrants, they will faint without much resistance.

"I was planning to take a small team inside the Tower to see if I could take some things out of the Tower, like things from some training rooms." "Do you think it is plausible?" She asked. To that, I shook my head, "I think it would be a very bad idea, commander," I replied.

She arched her brow in question, "The reason we are able to harvest the resources, not because of the towers malfunction but because tower let us do that," "From what I have gotten from books we have collected and my own conjecture, I believe that there is AI in a tower and it is very much active," I said.

"Do you think if we left the Tower alone for a decade or two, we would again have the hall full of herbs?" she asked.

"Yes, I think so," I said, while AI is not in full control of Tower as it used to. It still does a certain task like sowing seeds. As for taking care of them, it won't have the ability to do that fully, nor does it need to; some of the plants survive without care, they just need dense energy, and they will be able to survive on their own.

While we might not be able to get a hall full of precious herbs, as I had said, we would still get thousands of precious plants; the only thing we have to do is wait.

"Thank you for the input Jordan, I will think about it and now talk about the main reason I had called you here," She said and looked at me in the eyes.

"Your Headmistress is calling you back, and she is pulling quite a few strings for it," Commander said and looked at me. Her face looked blank, and no emotions could be seen on the surface of her eyes; I could see some hidden irritation and slight anger inside.

I wanted to remain quiet but seeing the look in my eyes, I thought it would be best to speak few words lest my silence brings out hidden irritation and anger. "Headmistress must have a reason to call me so suddenly," I said.

"Yes, she mentioned that. Her precious little student had stuck, and he needs your help," Commander said, and when she said it, all the irritation and anger she had kept hidden came out.

"Nowadays, everybody is worried about their precious students than the coming war," "In our days, the teachers and mentors used to throw their students in dangerous situations for them to learn, not coddled them with fulfilling their every desire,"

"If her precious student is facing some problems, he should try to solve them on his own, not ask his teacher to bring someone to explain." She muttered; I remained quiet and kept tight control over my emotions which were threatening to spill.

"Your headmistress had pulled quite a lot of strings that even I had to let you go," She said and removed the book. "You will be leaving in a week before then; I hope you will be able to solve the formations in this book; it will be a great help to me if you do that," she said and handed me the book.

'Wow, talk about no pressure,' I said to myself as I took the book from her hands. "I will try my best, commander," I said, "I hope you do, Jordan," she said.

A minute later, I was out of the office; I directly went to my quarters, and when I reached them, I opened the book and started to study the formation inside.

Seeing their style, they are from the Tower and quite hard. If I had not solved the formation on the grove, I wouldn't have any confidence in solving these formations on time. I will give my all in solving these formations if I want to leave on time; otherwise, Commander might find some excuses.

So, without wasting any time, I started on th formation, and since it is things I very much enjoy, I got completely lost in it within few seconds.

Hours passed and turned into days and four days passed, and when finally, the Commander released the Tyrants out. Only nine Tyrants were sent outside, and old man Ed was one of them when he returned one and a half days later, there were curses in his mouth.

He had said the Grimm Monsters have went bat shit crazy; in a span of one and half a day, he got attacked by three times, even when he went his usual hiding, instead of searching and fighting Grimm Monsters.

He said Grimm Monsters went mad; they were more aggressive than usual and just wanted to kill humans and doing that, even if they lost their lives; they did not care.

It looks like they look losing quite heavily and now just want to return the favor; well, it would be hard for them to do that unless they bring lots of outside reinforcements.

I wish I could stay more; I would have loved to fight these crazy Grimm Monsters and turn them in essence rose, but unfortunately, I could not. I have to prepare for my Tyrant level up; I have to become Tyrant before the war begins.

I was able to finish solving all the formations by the sixth day and spent most of my seven days with friends and acquaintances I had made here; I am going to miss them and this place dearly.
