Pyramid

"The Grimms were hiding a lot more strength than we had anticipated," said Supreme Commander as her projection appeared back in the central command.

"They have brought out a second new Grand Lord in just three weeks; it would be very troublesome if they had brought out a few more," said Lord Whitmore.

They had been quite shocked when the pyramids sensors picked up the signal of an unfamiliar Grand Lord; every Grand Lord was busy that Lord Whitmore had thought of asking the lord, but Supreme Commander volunteered herself to go.

He was quite opposed to it, considering the Supreme Commander is not a Grand Lord and did not have much fighting experience with Grand Lords; the only time she had fought against a Grand Lord was when she had saved Grandmaster Zaar.

Still, she insisted and came back nearly four hours later.

"How powerful was the new Grimm Grand Lord?" he asked; he had seen the battle, but it was a battle of the Grand Lords, and even with the Pyramids sensors, it is very hard to capture the fights of Grand Lords.

"Very powerful; you could not underestimate a Golden Fire Werewolf with bloodline," replied the Supreme Commander.

He shuddered to hear that the golden fire werewolf tribe is one of the strongest tribes of Grimms; in every century, they would have a member of their tribe into the coven, but there have been a really few times when they did not have their member in the coven.

There are two reasons for their power their Grand Art which is considered the most powerful offensive grand art in the world, and their bloodline, which is the strongest bloodline of all Grimms; those who awakened it, have an edge over even the strongest bloodline.

This was fine and all, but now it had become even stronger, far more than now more than 10% of upper echelon forces are made of them, with 20% with awakened bloodline, which is terrifying, and not all these bastards went inside.

They are pushing our forces hard, from common Tyrant to Grand Lord; it was a good thing; we had kept a large number of our forces back, or we wouldn't have been able to deal against the heavy momentum the Grimms are bringing toward us.

'Is there any news on lord Sylvian's end?" asked the Supreme commander, to which he shook his head. "He had said he might come back in a day, but it might take an even a month," she said; he had gone out of making a breakthrough into the Grand Lord class and hoped he would be successful.

They really need a Grand Lord, as he is feeling pretty sure there are two more new Grand Lords that Grimms were hiding.

It is already becoming hard to deal with the current number of Grand Lords the Grimms have, and if they decide to launch the full blow attack of the Grand Lords, they would be in trouble, but thankfully, they also have a reservation about that.

As of now, we, too, have produced two new Grand Lords, and if they attack with strength Grand Lords, it could backfire, as it had happened many times in history.

Hun!

They were discussing the deployment and distribution of forces when suddenly the projection of the grand tower mistress appeared in the central command.

The projection of the Grand Lord is nothing strange; there are two already present in the central command, but what is strange about her appearance is that she is staying guard beside that thing in front of the Grimm Grand Lord.

She needs to be completely focused on that, as Grimms are not above attacking suddenly; they have done that more times than they could count.

When they are in such situations, Grand Lords do not divert even the slightest of their focus unless it is necessary.

"Angela, what happened?" asked the sky lord, "The changes have begun to appear in the thing," she said and showed the blurry projection of the thing, through which to be they could not notice anything, but nobody doubted Lady Angela's words.

"It is a week early," said Patriarch Bradford, "It seemed like this time an exception," added Sky Lord, and a second later, lady Angela had disappeared.

The moment she left, the central command lit up on screens, and orders began to fly out of all three council members' mouths.

Their duties are divided, and they begin to move and adjust their forces; the change in that thing means people begin to come out of it soon, both humans and Grimms, both of them much stronger than before.

Their appearance will now take the war into a new destructive phase; as from today till that thing disappears, people will continue to come out, and they will be stronger by the day, till even a Grand Lords came out of it, even Whitmore couldn't imagine the scale it would reach, even with all the data he has.

Unlike before, the scale of people that went inside is huge; they have sent 40% more people than the highest they have ever sent, especially the Grand Lord; their number is more than double that they have ever sent; the Grimms had sent even bigger numbers.

This makes things hard to predict and more dangerous.

He had nightmares about what this beautiful world would turn into when both sides would fight with all their strengths.

Three hours and twenty minutes later, the thing shone, and the next moment, a huge group of humans and Grimms appeared above the thing. There are around fifty humans and more than double the number of Grimms.

'The first group is always big,' he thought as he looked at the group while their pictures and information materialized in front of him.

"94% Masters, 6% Grandmasters," he read the number; those who had returned only had two Grandmasters and no High-Grandmasters.

This information is old, three weeks old; at the time they entered that thing. I hope some of them have leveled up.

"Weak-willed bastard," said Lord Herm, the man usually jovial, but sometimes he gets blunt. "Lord Hern," said Supreme Commander with a faint hint of warning.

"What? It is true; aren't we adding them to the dump list?" he asked with a smile, with both him and the supreme commander sighing because what he said was the truth.

It is a tradition to add those who returned on what Lord Hern had said as a dump list; they are considered weak-willed who had run back from the greatest opportunity on the first chance they have got.

While he admits the classification is not perfect, and there are many reasons behind their returning than simply not having a will to continue.

They are still going to dump the list, which is kind of bad, as, at every opportunity, they will get the last chance.

Still, it is not going to affect them much because now, they or those who will not get the opportunity; they will be directly thrown into the battles which will last till the end of the war.

If they survive till then, they will automatically get their name out of the list.
