chapter-3068
A middle-aged man was sitting in a diner, having a meal; he looked like any other man, with an average forgettable face, and with the level lower Knight.
In front of him is a woman about the same age, pretty, talking animatedly. "That fountain is really great. I heard it was made from the battle of Kings. I think we should go see it Jaxson." said the woman.
"Sure, we will leave for it tomorrow," I replied with a smile; despite not being interested. If I willed it, I could create a thousand of them in an instant.
I am a mighty tyrant, a Master, just a step away from being a grandmaster, but despite such power, I am hiding in a minor continent, with most of my power sealed so tightly, that even I will need months to unseal it all.
It is not just an aura, but also changed my whole body with an artifact; it is the only reason, I had not have been discovered yet.I am the most wanted person in the world; Riverfield Academy wants me. Michael Zaar wants me.
Offering rewards like making any powerhouse a tyrant. If a tyrant found me, then he had promised to make them Grandmaster and if Grandmaster found me, then promising to make them High Grandmaster.
He had even promised to increase the chances of any High-Grandmaster to Grand Lord class. The only thing they have to do is find me.
It was a good thing I got out in time; if he had stayed in the organization, then the moment war ended, Zaar would have had me.
Every day, I curse those two bastards. They were my students, but I wished I had never met them. If it is not for them, my life wouldn't have been in such a state, where I need to hide like a rat.
My family had said it was only for a few years; after Zaar leave, he wouldn't need to hide this intensely, and in a hundred years, I might be able to come out openly.
The days were painful, and the next years would be even more painful, but I had to bear it. Hundred years is huge, but I will survive it, and after I broke through to Grandmaster, I will live the rest of my days like a king. The sealing of my power is bad, but it is also helping me progress; as the sealing method is not normal, it is profound with many benefits.
It will take decades for me to practice the method, but once he finished; I will become a Grandmaster. Then, even my organization will be forced to predict it.
"Good, since you agreed; I will let you have a good time today," said the woman suggestively, and I brought excitement into my eyes, despite not having any interest in her.
She is a tool, helping him meld in perfectly so no one will find me. It is important because once someone guessed his intensity, it will be game over for me; even the woman in front of me will notify Zaar if she comes to know my identity.
A few months ago, a rumor about his appearance on his island had spread and hundreds of thousands of people rushed toward it.
The woman also wanted to go; like any people of a minor continent, she too desired to reach above the height, that is possible with her measly talent.
"We can't do too much. We will have to wake up; the teleportation for Garis Fall only remains active for an hour," I said to the women.
"Don't worry, I will be all you're the entire week," she said, giving me another suggestive look, and I was about to reply to her. When her expressions change suddenly, a great shock appeared in her eyes.
I felt the whole diner fall into silence and, with a shock appearing on all their faces and with them looking behind me.
I slowly looked behind and saw a huge hand coming toward me; seeing that, terror couldn't help but appear on my face.
I got up from my seat and tried to run, but it was futile and even I knew it. It did not take even a second for a huge white hand made of energy to capture me. As it did, a spatial rift opened, and a hand moved toward it.
"My apologies for this disturbance; I hope this humble meal would be enough for you to forget this minor disturbance," said the voice, and I saw plates of food bearing meals so delicious that even in terror I felt my mouth watering.
A moment later, I was inside the rift and rift close in front of it and I knew I won't be alive for longer.
Zaar had finally found me, and he won't be merciful enough to forgive me.
…
"You have been quite difficult to find Samson," I said to the man, I have been searching for years.
To be honest, I had not thought it would be so difficult to find it, with my current strength and one moment even thought it might have committed suicide, but I know bastard enough to truly consider that.
"Yes, you did. Now kill me and done with it." said the man defiantly, but I could see the sheer terror in his eyes, hiding behind the thin wall of defiance.
"Oh, I will," I said matter of fact.
I looked at him and saw how he was able to hide; the artifact he is using is powerful and the method he is practicing seemed quite mysterious too.
"Ahhhh!"
He screamed loudly as I ripped the artifact from him; it is not just an artifact, but I took every valuable thing he had on him.
"I will kill you the same way you had tried to kill me, and I promise you, if you survive somehow, I will not come at you," I said and could see hope building in terror, as I threw him into the spatial sea, with a thin cover of energy surrounding.
That thin cover would only last only for a minute and after that, he would be on his own.
"How are you feeling?" asked Marina. "Same," I said and kissed her gently on the lips before resuming the cooking.
Revenge does not make one feel better, or at least it did not to me, but they needed to be punished for what they did to me.
A minute and ten seconds passed, and he died, while I contacted Sky Saber with the list of people who aided in his escaping and hiding. I want them punished.
I stated clearly if they did not punish them, then I will take matters into my hand.
I had been a little lax with Sky Saber, thanks to Jim and Rachel, but they will need to punish those people. It did not matter if they were from a prominent family, they will punish them. If they did not, then as I had said, I will take matters into my hand.
A little more than an hour passed, and we finished cooking.
"Rose, dear, the dinner is ready," said Marina to rose, who was still talking to her friend. "Coming," she said and made a quick good buy, before washing her hands and coming to the table.
"You have only baked cake," she said, clearly angry that I did not cook everything she had asked me to.
"Yes, mom had said one dessert a day is enough for you," I said, and she glared while muttering something under her breath, before taking a bite from the slice of cake and closing her eyes in ecstacy.
