I shouldn't have stopped when the boundary of the disc is three steps away. I should be running toward it as fast as I could.

Seeing the Sovereign had discovered me. Instead, I not only stopped but also turned and waited.

I did not have to wait for long. One and a half seconds later, the Sovereign appeared, looking at me from the air.

"If I am not wrong. They you should be the human, is the reason behind dropping in our numbers," it stated. "Yes, I killed them," I said and revealed my aura.

"You should have entered the disk when you had a chance, human. Not that it would help you." "I would have killed you the moment you came out," it said, with a smile, but there was a clear anger on its face.

"I wanted to test the Sovereign. I had never faced one before," I said, and its expression turned a little strange.

"Hahahahah…"

It began to laugh, and its laugh was loud and raucous and brought tears to its eyes.

"I have seen many idiots, but never like you," it said as it finally stopped. "There is nothing idiotic about it; I just want to test my strength against you," I said in all seriousness.

It might look idiotic, but I am serious about my words. I want to face Sovereign before I made a breakthrough.

It is foolish, but it will help me mentally. If I could do it. Though it could also kill me; there is a high chance it could happen.

"Since you want to die so badly. I will fulfill your wish," said Bearman, and almost casually raised its hand, and black bloodline energy gathered in its armor before stretching itself.

Soon, a long spear formed in its hand.

"Die, worm!" It said and sent the black spear toward me. It appeared beside me in an instant, barely giving me a chance to adjust the sword in my hand.

CLANNNNG!

It clashed against my sword and I felt like a mountain had crashed against me and a tsunami had enveloped me at the same time.

Puh!

I vomited blood as I stopped myself from flying back to start to take steps back, while my armor glowed and all the formations inside worked in overdrive to deal with energy.

They have never been pressed like this like they are right now.

I stopped at the edge of the entrance of the disc while bleeding from every hole in my body. I am heavily injured, so much that I could barely hold my sword, but it is worth it seeing the look on the Bearman's face.

"You survived?" It asked in shock; not daring to believe what it is seeing.

"What do you expect with an attack like that?" I asked back, with mock dripping from my voice.

"You, worm. I will kill you!" it shouted in anger and hundred of spears materialized. "Sorry, but one attack is more than enough for me," I said with a smile and took a step back into the boundary of the disk.

It also released the spears at the same time, but I was inside the boundary when they reached inches away from me.

Bam Bam Bam

They clashed against the formation that appeared. Which crushed them; I was a little disappointed when it did not attack back, but it was fine.

"Enjoy your precious time, inside, worm, because once you come out. I will kill you in a most painful way," it threatened and landed on the ground, before sitting cross-legged on the grass.

"I am counting it," I said with a smile and turned to the disc.

Soon, I reached the center of the disc and sat down before closing my eyes.

It may not look like it, but I am heavily injured. So much that I couldn't use more than 5% of my power.

Thankfully, all the healing formations have been activated. At the same time, all five of my clones begin to work on the inheritance, with the last bit of data, I had gotten through the attack of the Sovereign.

It was idiotic to take the Sovereigns attack, but also necessary.

It had given me the data I want and now, I could make a breakthrough with no worry.

Though I did not start immediately, I could not with my injured body. I have to heal it first. Thankfully, I have all the resources; I need to heal fast as possible.

Not to mention, strengthening energy will come soon and I am going to let it heal my injuries.

So, I let my clones work on inheritance and formations on my healing, while I lay down on the disc.

A minute later, I was an in asleep.

I had not slept in the past two days, and I need to sleep. It will fasten the healing, but also calm my body and soul for the breakthrough.

I woke up four hours later, feeling completely refreshed and healed.

I sat up and waved at the Bearman, who had two Grimms sitting behind it. They all glared at my wave, but my smile turned sweeter.

After a few seconds of fun, I looked at serious topics. My clones have finished with the adjustments and, according to the meta-scan, my body is completely healed and is ready for the breakthrough.

Seeing that, a black fruit appeared in my hand. It is smaller than my thumb, with a blue spot on it.

It looks like a big cherry but smelled like orange. I looked at it for a moment before putting it into my mouth.

As I crushed it with my teeth, the most delicious juices came out. That I couldn't help but moan.

This is Roulas berry; a very precious resource. I have gotten from the storage of the Grimm I had killed. The berry readies the body and soul for the breakthrough and increases the chances of succeeding.

I gulped down the last bit of juices, which had turned into energy and spread into my body.

They lasted for over twenty minutes before it all disappeared.

I took a deep breath and waved my hand and immediately. A black disc with runes appeared. It is filled with resources and is floating in the air.

I floated in the air and sat in the center.

I looked at all the preparation, and every resource one more time, before entering my core. There, I tapped on the inheritance before getting out.

Buzz!

A moment later, the breakthrough begins.

The formation lit up and my core begin to turn to liquify and a couple of minutes later; it had completely turned into a blob.

While on the disk, resources mixed and merged into the runes before those runes begin to flow toward me like snakes. Covering me with them, till every part of my body was covered in the runes.

For a few seconds, nothing happened, before finally, my core begins to spin slowly.

With every spin, it begins to take more and more resources. Till, it became painful for me. The pain is nothing new; I bore it as I watch a large amount of essence energies getting swallowed by the core.
