chapter-3314
The foxwoman moved her hand and all the storages we were wearing flew toward it.
It surprised me that she had not only taken the storages of us natives but also of the Grimms. A moment later, the blue bands with green gems appeared, and I found one of them on my neck.
The band had just appeared when the powerful energy covered us, and I find myself moving.
Everyone moved for a second before stopping. They divided us into groups, a total of eleven groups.
Nine groups had three people, while two have four. My group has three and Ragas with me, which relieved me, but the Grimm, I didn't like, and it is a High Sovereign. As I looked around, I saw they have divided the groups in such a way that each group will have at least one Grimm.
These Grimms would be stronger than natives or, in cases of Peak Sovereigns; strong as them.
"Listen up," said the Foxwoman and everybody turned to her.
"You all have the task in front of you, which is to find a safe way to the other side of the wall and returned here,"
"You have three days for that. If you didn't, the bands around your neck will kill you, in the most painful way," it informed.
"On your quest, you cannot fight with each other. If you try, the bands will give you a painful lesson. The same thing will happen if a distance of more than a mile appeared between the member of groups."
Hearing that, the expression of many Grimms had changed. These words have been directed at them; many of them had to have been likely dreaming of eating us the moment we entered the wall."Now go and return with success and I promise you, we will not only free you but also reward you generously," said Apeman, looking at us natives.
A moment later, they pushed us toward the wall, which was a little more than a mile away.
Seeing there was no other option, we walked toward the wall.
I started investigating the band and within a few seconds, my expression turned bad. These bands are Earth Sovereign level, I couldn't remove them. Even if I tried, it would take months or even years, I only have three days.
I sighed and turned toward the brown wall. It is a colossal thing, with tens of thousands of entrances.
There are giant tunnels inside it that will make even Grimms feel like an ant and powerful suppression that is three times stronger than the outside.
There is a reason why these two Grimms are sending us in; this place is damn dangerous. There are things there known as storms; the thick energy is released from the walls and within seconds, even Earth Sovereign would turn to dust.
Though this place is also filled with powerful treasures that will make even Earth Sovereign's eyes red.
Soon, we reached the wall and stopped. The Black Horn Ratman, looked at giant holes, before walking toward one on the left.
I looked at Ragas and he didn't seem to have any problem with it. So, I followed the Grimm and soon; we reached the hole, and the Grimm stopped.
"Get inside," it said, and we did what he told us.
The moment I took the step inside the giant hole; I felt the power suppression on me. I nearly strategized with the weakness I had felt before stabilizing myself and taking a deep breath.
Within a second, more than half of my power is suppressed. I now could only harness 43% of my power.
"Fuck the suppression!" cursed the Ratman as it entered inside. It had gone to its knees before getting up and glaring at us.
"Listen, you filthy natives; I am the boss here, you will do whatever I say, without a single word of complaint," it said and both of us turned toward it, with a smile on our faces.
"Fuck off!" I cursed and looked at the head.
"What did you say, you bastard?" it asked and came at me, before throwing a punch. It is not a simple punch, but one that is quite powerful, but I didn't move and let the huge punch come at me.
It came, but when it reached a meter away from me; the collar lit up, and it froze.
"Ahhhhhhh…"
A moment later, a loud, mournful scream rang out from the Grimm's mouth.
It fell on the ground and spasmed for a few seconds, with foam coming off its mouth, before stopping.
"They were not lying, the collar works," said Ragas, looking at Ratman, who is taking a deep breath. "Yes, they do," I said and turned back to the giant tunnel we were in.
It didn't look like a tunnel at all, but a cavern, a barren cavern.
"The Grimms have saved us a lot of time. The speed we were moving it would have taken us days to reach this place," said Ragas.
"It did, but now we have a collar on our neck. So, I hope you would take out the thing you have and get rid of them," I said and surprise couldn't help but appear on his face before it turned into a smile.
Of course, I knew he had something; I had been watching his reaction from the moment Grimm brought us here.
He was not worried about Grimm and even looked forward to entering the wall.
"It is quite hard to hide things from you," he said, and a small black rod with red appeared in his hand.
Cling!
He touched his collar with it and all the lights on the collar went off and it fell on the ground with a clang.
"Give that to me!" shouted the Ratman and came toward us; I didn't even look at it. All my focus was on the orb, which was coming from the collar on my neck.
The rod touched the collar and as it did, its lights went off, as it did a second ago with Ragas's collar and it clicked open, before falling.
At that time, the Grimm appeared beside us and stretched its hand toward the rod, when it suddenly froze away as the chains of mist appeared on its body.
Cling! Puch!
Ragas touched the collar with the rod, and it fell off. A smile appeared on my face seeing that before it turned into horror.
A second later, it had disappeared.
It is quite regretful that we have got a Grimm with inheritance. There was High-Sovereign Grimm, who had the bloodline. It would have been amazing if it had been with us.
"Now, what do we do?" I asked him. "We find a way out of this tunnel," he replied casually.
"If it was that simple; the Earth Sovereign wouldn't have sent us here to find the way for them," I said, and a smile appeared on his face.
"I am quite disappointed, Mike. With your knowledge of the empire of mist. You shouldn't have needed to ask this question," he said and for a moment, I didn't understand what he meant.
It took me a second to realize what he meant, and my eyes widened.
