We resumed our journey after the trade; in an hour. We will be out of this dense suppressing mist.

'Once we reach home. I will take you to the temple of knowledge. The people there will be able to help you a lot with your inheritance,' said Magnus, surprising me a little.

It seemed like he had gotten the wrong impression through our incomplete conversation.

'I am not coming,' I said directly.

It seemed to have surprised him so much that he nearly stopped in his tracks. Attracting the gaze of siblings.

'What! Why?' he asked a moment later. His voice was full of confusion and question.

'It is not my home,' I replied.

I have nothing to do with the mist realm. I am not a member of mistson and the connection I have with Cassian Lockwood is faint. Most importantly, I am not going to an unknown, dangerous place.

My family is there, which makes it even more important that I shouldn't go there till I am powerful enough.

Mist's realm might be good, or it might be doing something for my family. I don't know, but I know one thing, the places might look good, but there are many bad things they are hiding in their belly.

Like the Supremes.

'You are a descendent of Cassian Lockwood. That makes it your home,' he said, and I wanted to smile.

'My mother is a descendent of Cassian Lockwood and a member of mistson.' I corrected, to which he glared as he too is right.

'I promise you, in my honor, that the mist realm is a safe place,' he said with utter seriousness. 'I know, but I can't come with you now, but I will visit in the future. Since you know my family is there,' I replied.

He looked like he wanted to say something, but he looked at my expressions and just shook his head.

The next hour passed in relative silence.

Soon, we reached the exit when I suddenly stopped, and they stopped with me.

"A goodbye them," said Magnus, to that I nodded. "It was nice traveling with Magnus and you two," I said to them.

"You are not going to mist realm with Magnus?" asked Jeh. "No, I have a few things to do before I go there," I replied before turning to Magnus.

'I hope you will do one thing for me,' I said to him. 'Of course,' he said.

I smile and take a small, clay square the size of a thumbnail. On one side, it had my sigil, and the opposite is of the academy. My mother and sister would easily be able to recognize it.

'Give this to my mother,' I said and gave it to him.

He took it in a hand and looked at it; especially my sigil, before turning it to the other side.

As his gaze fell on the other emblem, he froze; not only him but others too.

"This?" he said and looked at me. The siblings' eyes have also turned to me, and they are quite intense. I felt like I shouldn't speak too much about it.

'I told you; I am not a member of mistson,' I said to him. 'So, you are a member of Riverfield Academy?' he asked, and I nodded, feeling quite surprised that he knows about the academy.

It is a small organization from the minor world. I didn't think Cassian Lockwood would tell his descendants about it.

Though it is clear by their expressions; that things are not simple as I am thinking them to be.

'Have you heard about the lordless realm?' he asked after a few seconds of silence, to which I shook my head.

'Go there, when you become Prime. It will be a great place for you,' he said, and I arched a brow, but this time, it is his time to smile.

'Since you are not coming. I will give you these. The crystal has all the information about all the exits. The other is a pass to a place you should visit.'

'The last one key. If you ever want to come to the mist realm, it will lead you to it,' he said and handed me three things.

I looked at three things before turning to him. "Thank you," I said. "We are family," he said and before I could say anything, he hugged me.

The hug was brief and let go a second later.

'Goodbye Michael. I hope we will again soon,' he said. 'We will,' I replied. He smiled and turned.

I watched him leave with the siblings before disappearing into the mist.

As he did, the loneliness struck me hard. I even felt my eyes watering as I felt him walking out of my range.

I stayed in my spot for more than a minute before I wiped my eyes and turned. I will be leaving soon but in a different way.

Going with him to the mist realm might have made some things easy for me, but it might have also turned into something else. I am not sure and till I do or become strong enough, I will be depending on my own.

A few minutes passed, and I sensed a wave of soul sense and was relieved to see nobody close to me.

"You can come out, Nero," I said to him, and immediately; a little wolf with antlers came out.

He had woken up when I was in the yellow space and wanted to come out, but I didn't get a chance to bring him out. All around me were powerful people. I simply couldn't take the risk.

As he came out, he looked around and even tried to eat the mist, before turning to me.

"Where to, father?" he asked. "Out Nero," I replied.

He had already seen all the information Magnus had provided, and it's very detailed. Not only did he provide information on all exits, but also where they will lead to.

Many of these rifts are far away from the organization's territory.
