Cheee…Ahhhh

The parasite screamed and the man I got used to their screams and the parasites.

Buzz!

The moment, the last tentacle of the parasite came out, I turned it into ash and placed the middle-aged elf into the tub. A second later, the formation activated.

The tub had a lot of precious resources, but the most important of them all was their own essence.

Mixed with this solution it will help them recover faster.

It had been eight hours since I have been removing the parasites from them. I have now reached my last patient. He was a young-looking white wolf beastman.

He is also one of the oldest victims. His body is nearly husk, a month or two, and he would have been dead.

My strings entered inside him and began spreading fast. I have not been slow as I had been with my first patient. I have understood the working completely that now; it takes me less than five minutes to remove the parasite.

A little over three minutes passed, and my strings reached the places and formed a formation inside.

Hun!

I was about to activate it, and then pull the parasite out, when I noticed something interesting.

'Well, it is quite surprising,' I thought. I had not expected I would see something like it. I had only seen it once before in my native world.

Cheee… Ahhhh

I only looked at it for a few seconds before pulling the parasite out. As all its tentacles came out, I burned it to ashes like the rest and put the unconscious wolf beastman into the tub.

The pressure had been too much for his very weak body.

With that done, I turned to all patients, many of them unconscious. Some are sleeping, while few are awake.

"All of you, I have removed parasites from you, but you are far from healed. For some of you, it is going to be a long journey, but it is not without a destination." I said and sighed before touching the control panel of the abode.

Immediately, the partition walls of energy formed. They need privacy; I had even readied the rooms upstairs, but it will take them a while before they can use them.

I stayed there for a few minutes, and checked the progress and each patient, before walking out of the hall.

They have suffered too much, and I wish I could help them till they recover fully, but I couldn't.

I have my priorities; I couldn't give them more than a few days.

Though I will not leave them without support; Nero had already left to do something which will give this support till they recover enough to support themselves.

I went to the living room and sat on a sofa, before closing my eyes.

I appeared at my core and looked at my two clones, who were working on the breakthrough formation. It had taken longer than I had thought, but finally, it was nearly done.

In two to three hours, it will be finished.

I would have joined my clones, but I am not in the mood. I don't think I would be able to give my all if I joined them. So, it is better; I focused on other things, important things.

I appeared at the door of my library and walked inside, and saw four of my clones working on tables, with piles of information crystals and notes.

All of them belong to the Monkey Beastman.

Aside from qualified evil, it was also a great researcher. It had been working for this evil organization for over a hundred years and keeping notes of everything.

Innirithe is not the only parasite he had worked on. He had worked with tens of others and kept a very detailed record on all of them.

For a healer like me, it is precious knowledge, and my clones are sorting through them.

Fortunately, I will not be able to read through these notes quickly. My clones will focus on inheritance after a few hours and the other two will also join them.

I will also join them after I found a little more permanent place and wouldn't be leaving till I am finished.

Currently, they are looking through Innirith, and I nearly got what I was looking for.

They will develop a method on this data that Monkey Beastman and I had collected. These will be recovery methods based on resources. From requiring the cheapest resources to the most expensive ones.

I might not stay with them until they recover fully, but I planned to give them the tools to do that.

I sat beside my clones and studied with them. I stayed there until it is time for a breakthrough formation to be finished.

I walked out of the library and appeared in front of the workbench. Only the last few minutes have remained, till the reforging of the breakthrough formation is finished.

THUM!

Minutes passed, and my clones finally stopped a moment later. A loud thump rang out and all the runes lit up brightly as the sun begin to gather together.

I watched carefully as the runes gather one thing before their side begins to dim and reveal a thing they have turned into.

I raised my hand and immediately a thing appeared in front of me; it is a ring.

It is a thick ring of white metal, with a single purple line from within. It is simple but looks beautiful.

I stared at it for a couple of seconds, before seeping my soul sense inside and immediately a smile couldn't help but appear on my face.

'It worked, and it is bigger than I thought,' I said to myself before starting to check on other properties. The more I looked, the bigger the smile on my face would become.

Every feature I had programmed seemed to be present and looking at things; I don't think, there would be in working.

Though I will have to perform some tests to be sure.

I wish I had finished my treatments and inheritance, then nobody would have been able to stop me from breaking through. I want to use it, but alas, I am not ready.

I looked at it for a few minutes before putting away the ring and walking back to the library.

I stayed there for a few hours, studying before walking out of my core.

I got up and looked at the kitchen before making some changes to it. Once they have done it, I have stepped inside and took out things.

The formation is good, but recovery food will help along the way, and I am cooking that. I have already decided what I am going to cook and taken out of the stuff.

A moment later, hundreds of strings came out of me, and I started cooking and within a minute had got lost in it.

Hun!

About an hour passed, and I noticed someone coming into the room.

"You should be recovering," I said to the young woman, with luminescent skin.

"I know, but I wanted to move my legs," she replied, and I wish I could blame her.

If I had been a captive of evils for months; I too would want to do things that give me a feeling of control.
