"My lord; I had just received the information on our captured facility S889," said the woman to the old man sitting on a stone chair.

"Have you been able to find out, how it got discovered by Tor?" the old man asked, to which the woman nodded.

"It was one of the captives who was able to free himself and called the rescue from Tor," informed the woman, making the unfocused eyes of the old man focus on her.

"They shouldn't have been able to escape through the slime," said the old man, with a note of seriousness in his voice.

"But he did, my lord," said the woman.

"Were you able to find out the person's identity?" he asked, to which the woman shook her.

"No, my lord. Tor had been extremely careful about him, and I didn't want to dig deeper, without your permission," she said.

"Good. We shouldn't risk our sources for a Sovereign," said the old man, and the expression of the woman changed a little hearing that.

"Is there something else?" asked the old man catching the change in women's expressions. To which she nodded with some hesitation.

"Yes, my lord."

"I have tested the true essence, we had gotten from him and found something surprising," she said, and the old man just looked at her.

"He is no Sovereign, but Primary-III," she added.

Immediately, a big change appeared on the old man's face.

I woke up thirteen hours later, feeling completely refreshed.

All the tiredness I had accumulated from not sleeping for five days and all the fighting had disappeared.

I didn't immediately get up from the bed and instead turned to my badge and checked the feed. A smile couldn't help but appear on my face, seeing how easily I had fallen into my old habit.

I had checked the feed, and also the mails and there were mails for me, with one marked important.

It is from the mission hall, and they have some questions for me based on the report I had filed. Thankfully, I had answered them through the main and didn't have to go there personally.

I had written answers to seven out of eight questions and as for the last one, I had directly written that I would not be answering it.

It was a question of how I had dealt with the self-destruction of the cultists. I am not going to answer that.

It touched on my core secrets.

A few minutes later, I went to the bathroom, where I freshened up and showered before walking into the kitchen and cooking myself a sumptuous breakfast.

I finished it and sat on the table by the wall, before enjoying it with the view.

An hour later, I watched the dishes and walked into the practice room.

There I sat on the small mat in the center of the room and closed my eyes. A moment later, a deep but faint fluctuation begins to release from my body, like I am practicing some method.

Buzz!

I didn't, not till a minute later when my clone had put the phantom in the slime and activated the formations.

A few seconds later, the needles pierced inside me and a second after that, the alchemical solution entered deep inside. They had pierced through every part of my body and now a solution was entering in my body and soul, merging with it, becoming a part of me.

It is happening much more smoothly, than I had done the first time, a few days ago.

I had fixed all the flaws and also crafted a new strengthening solution to the data, I had got and looking at things. This solution reacted much better than I had imagined.

I just hope I could have done something about this pain, and I could, but it would reduce the efficacy by around 10%-15%.

I couldn't accept that.

Fifty-seven minutes later, the solution stopped, and needles disappeared, while I slumped back on the floor.

I remained as such for half an hour, before starting with the treatment of forbidden power. It was even more painful than strengthening treatment and brought bloody tears to my eyes.

It was a hell every second, but thankfully, it had ended forty-four minutes later.

Now, I could relax for three days.

It will take my body three days to absorb and recover before I can practice again, which is fine because the effects I am going to get will be amazing.

With these slimes, I won't have to dream about coming across the Grimms every day.

It was risky to practice inside the organization, but there was no choice. I couldn't just practice when I was out on the mission; it would waste too much time.

So, I am taking the risk, to reach the limit quickly as possible.

I rested for more than half an hour before I closed my eyes and entered my core. There, I appeared on the second continent, beside my clone, who was studying the data.

I had fixed most of the flaws, but not all. Not to mention, I need to make changes constantly based on the data.

I could feel, I could see there are so many things that could be improved, and invested my whole clone in it.

The clone will not only work on making the treatment efficient, but will also work on experimenting with the slimes themselves.

They are the most important part of the practice and I felt like I should find out as much as I could about them.

I already have massive data about it after staying inside it for a year, but I will need more for what I have planned for it, and investing in a clone for it is a good idea.

Four clones are more than enough for working on the inheritance.

I stayed a few minutes by the clone before walking into the library, as it was time for the lesson.

Seven minutes later, the lesson began, and it lasted for over four hours before it was over.

For a few minutes, I didn't do anything other than go over the lesson. There was some pretty difficult stuff that I was barely able to wrap my head around.

A few minutes later, I opened my eyes and took out a couple of books from the shelf and started studying them, while taking the notes on the side.

I remained at the table for nine hours before getting up.

I am far from understanding the thing, but decided to take a break and turned my focus on the inheritance.

Four of my clones working on it non-stop, making good progress. However, the progress on the ancient rune formation is slower than I had imagined.

This is not surprising, seeing me and my clones working on relatively difficult formations. They are still beginner-level formations but are slowly moving toward the intermediate.

It is not the level that is easy to cross, but my clones and I are giving out for it and eventually, we will get there.

I worked with my clones on inheritance for an hour, before coming back to my table and started studying things, and I did it, till it was time for lunch.

After eating lunch, I started studying again.

Though not the runes; there are other subjects aside from runes, I need to study too.
