"Secret signal," he said, looking at the signal projected in front of me.

"Thankfully, you had taken care of that otherwise, we might have hordes descending, here" he replied with a sigh, while I just smiled.

"It has the special functions to catch these kinds of signals?" he asked, and I shook my head.

Of course, it is specially forged to collect all, signals, energies and other things.

Thud!

"No, yours could be programmed to do it as well," I replied, and a moment later. The pillar appeared in front of me and tapped on it several times, bringing a command panel in front of me.

I didn't waste any time and started programming to catch the hive-queens signals.

I wouldn't have been able to do that. If my rubies had caught it and now that they did; I know what it is and how we could stop it.

"It's finished," I said, six and a half minutes later.

"Thank you," he said. "It's nothing," I replied. He smiled and took back the pillar.

For a moment, there was a silence, before he spoke again.

"I have used all the material you provided to burn the forest. Do, you have more of it?" he asked.

"I have, but only one set," I said and handed it to him. "I would need to create more and one more powerful than it if we want to target the main hive," I added.

Looking at how the set worked; it is clear that to target the main hive queen. The set would need to be stronger than it is.

"How long it would take to craft them?" he asked.

"Eleven hours for these general ones, but one and half days, for the powerful one," I replied, nodding.

"I will take this set and burn another hive, while also contacting others. We will all need to be together if we want to get out of here," he said, and I couldn't help but nod.

He didn't stay for long. After asking me a few more questions, he left.

I collected the furnace and rubies before walking back into my abode and immediately went to my core.

There, my clone had just removed the massive carcass of the hive queen and placed it under the tree.

Of course, I didn't burn it; that would be an utter waste. When I could feed it to the tree.

I am a little nervous; I don't know whether it would consume the dead body or not. All the critters I had to feed the seedling had been the live ones, which had the soul intact.

I wanted to test the dead critter, but all the critters I had come across had been alive and I didn't want to kill one and waste the growth energy, in case seedling didn't eat it.

I thought, eventually I would come across a critter killed by someone and use it to test it.

Seconds passed, and I watched it with the bated breath. Usually, the roots came out by this time, but now there was no movement.

Hun!

I feared it wouldn't eat it when I sensed the movements from the ground and it began to shake, an earth like it had not done before.

I was about to focus on what was happening underground when suddenly massive roots began to come out of the ground. They are bigger than any roots that had come out before.

They came out of the earth one after another and began wrapping themselves around the carcass of the hive queen.

Soon, the roots had covered both parts so thoroughly that I couldn't even see a little.

A few seconds passed, and I started to hear the cracking sound. I didn't have to imagine what was happening there, with a little concentration; I could see everything.

I didn't.

I had already seen what happened and didn't want to see it anymore.

Usually, it takes less than a minute, but seven minutes have already passed, and the roots have yet to be finished consuming.

They are not consuming a normal critter or even a Sky Sovereign critter, but a hive queen. Which is biologically different than the common critter, and much stronger.

It took another two and a half minutes before the roots began to unravel and, like always; they left nothing.

I didn't move from my spot and instead kept looking and soon; the tree began to shine in gentle light.

It grew, and the speed of its growth had made my eyes go wide. It is faster than I had ever seen it.

It is massive in size and now it is growing bigger. Not by inches, but by meters.

It grew taller and its branches wider, with leaves appearing on them, before they could even grow fully.

It took a while before it stopped and when it did; one could clearly see, it had become bigger. It seemed like; it really liked the hive-queen, seeing the growth it had given it.

I wonder if the growth would have been even greater if there had been a soul there.

Now that it has grown; it is time for the growth energy. I wonder whether it would come.

A second passed and then another and then another and before I knew it, the whole minute had passed, but the growth energy I had been waiting for didn't come.

"It will not come," I said and walked away from it.

I am a little disappointed, but I am still glad that it was able to grow the seedling of the world tree. I have read about it enough to know, that the massive benefits wait for me when it reaches a certain growth.

Till it reaches that stage; I will continue to feed it everything I could make, to make it grow faster.

I appeared at the alchemy station and saw my clones working on it.

I didn't lie when I said, I didn't have it. I truly didn't. These things are very expensive to craft, and I intentionally didn't craft more, but now we need more.

I didn't just watch but also joined them.

These solutions were extremely hard to craft with more failures than successes, but me and my clones continued because there was no choice.

These solutions are the only thing that could kill the critters en masse. Without them, even the Sky Sovereigns wouldn't be safe.

People like me with the power of the Earth Sovereign can forget getting out alive. There is will tide of critters, which will make even Sky Sovereign powerless and make them focus on saving their own lives.

Hours passed and finally, at the twenty-fifth hour, I had finished crafting all three solutions.

I have crafted six sets of them, and they are 20% more powerful than the last set. My heart bleeds, seeing the resources I had used, and I will ask for remuneration from the organization.

I hope these six sets would be enough. They should be; on each Sky-level critter pod, only four to eight sub-hives exist.

We have already finished one, and I have given the set for another, and these are six.

I have not finished the crafting.

I still have to craft the one for the main hive queen, but I didn't help with it; I let my clones handle that one.
